We called in an order for "eat in" just as we were leaving our summer camp this afternoon. Our order was ready when we arrived at Pizza Del Aureos less than 15 minutes later. Little boys are hungry beasts, and after a day of playing in the sun, climbing hills and trees, there's nothing quite like something steaming hot from Pizza Del Aureos' pizza oven. Our standing order is cheesy garlic bread sticks with pepperoni and a smear of barbecue sauce. It's a very hardy snack and a very reasonable price. The crust is similar to a well made focaccia with big, airy dough bubbles and a tender chew. In addition to the cheesy garlic breadsticks, we also ordered the cheeseburger Granwich. They use the same pizza dough for the Granwichs, which elevates the whole hamburger experience . Owners Bob and Kathy are wonderful hosts, eagerly chatting it up with every customer, even silly ones like my boys! They have the unique ability to make everyone feel totally welcome! read more

As someone who grew up in the New Haven, CT area, but now resides in Buffalo, my preference for pizza is quite different than what is typically available in the Buffalo area. While Pizza Del Aureos is by no means New Haven style pizza, it is one of my favorites in the area. The crust has great flavor and texture, and the sauce and cheese are delicious, with the cheese being just salty enough. Toppings like onions and peppers are also plentiful. The large salad is HUGE! I order one to split between my husband and myself, and we each get a full serving that fills a large bowl for each of us. Ordering on the website is so easy. I am able to customize the salad and other menu options to our liking. In addition to the ease of online ordering, the reliability of Pizza Del Aureos is impressive. The wait time is usually 20 minutes (which is the perfect amount of time for me to drive and pick it up) and my order is ALWAYS ready on time. I have never once waited for it to be ready as I have with some other pizza restaurants in the area. Even yesterday, I placed my order at 4:15pm, with a home Bills playoffs game at 6:30. I arrived at 4:35, order was ready, in addition to many other orders that they were fulfilling for the Sunday football rush. I was expecting I may have had to wait, but no wait at all. No matter the topping you order you are in for a special treat. Fresh ingredients, hand rolled freshly made pizza dough, their sauce (order extra sauce) and mounds of fresh cheese. Courteous staff who'll get your order to you fast. Great Buffalo-style pizza. The sauce is sweet, the cheese always melted and slightly seared, and the edges of the crust aren't mounds of dough but are light and airy like the rest of the crust but with a crispy edge. We really enjoyed the pizza here! It has a nice doughy crust, yummy sauce and cheese, and generous toppings. We ordered a large pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and sweet peppers; and like I said toppings were generous. The pizza is nice and cheesy. It was very filling for two hungry people and left us with some leftovers that we promptly finished the next day. Overall, we would definitely order from here again. It isn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it's a very satisfying local option. I've tried a bit of everything, pizza was good and I liked the wings. I split half a chicken finger grandwich and half a Turkey grandwich and they were to die for! Absolutely amazing sandwiches there! Their buns are baked out of seasoned pizza dough and I could just eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner! Pizza del aureo is a lunch time favorite for myself and my coworkers. They have a great selection of affordable lunch specials. They offer grandwiches which are stuffed with meat and veggies. The bread they use tastes very fresh. They must make it because it's similar to the tasty pizza dough. One thing I appreciate most is the manager (or Maybe business owner). I often call in large lunch orders for work. And he always accommodates our group and the wide variety of sandwiches we get. They are delivered promptly. Our order is always right. Was out in the area for my son's hockey game and stop by after for a pizza to go. The front door staff were friendly and helpful. We order a large pizza with a bunch of toppings some only on half the pizza pie. They turned it around quickly even on a busy night and it was hot and delicious. Zero Stars Update: it's with great sadness that I have to change my score for this place! I went in tonight as I have many nights over the past month and I couldn't believe what I heard. The manager Ryan and his employees talking about another employees sexual orientation and then went on to say that he may not be "out" yet. Totally unprofessional and against code of conduct at any company!! Megan had expressed her opinion about an order I placed involving 3 wraps with dressing on the side. She commented about how unhealthy 3 sides of mayo and oil was and continued to share her opinion. It's upsetting as im a former large individual who previously exceeded 400lbs. I've worked very hard on my fitness and happy to say I've dropped more than half my weight. The food was for 3 separate meals not for 1 meal in 1 sitting by 1 person. I take comments regarding fat shaming very personal regardless of not being fat anymore by societies standards. I approached the manager and he gave her the feedback and she rudely said "fine I apologize" which wasn't an apology at all just for me to overhear her drop the f bomb! Being a family establishment as a patron anyone of us would've been refused service had we acted that way. She took so long to make my wrap (which she probably did intentionally) that my fries and pizza logs were semi warm when I got them. I had to microwave my food and you know how that tasted! #barf She needs some serious customer service training and Ryan needs to be demoted or let go! He shouldn't try and be the manager when someone wants to make things right about the conversation that he was having regardless of who started it, he should've immediately stopped the conversation! As someone who is part of the LGBT I won't be going back to this NON-LGBT friendly place. I have been a long time fan of Del Aureos. Their food has always been consistent and delicious. I now live in toward Cheektowaga and I have no decent places for pizza around me so whenever I'm out toward East Aurora I'm getting Del Aureos. Like there new location as well. Went to this pizzeria about 45 minutes before close and the manager or whatever he was (something of authority) was very crabby and yelled at the employee multiple times in front of us. Was swearing at him and you could tell he was annoyed that we were there. Another great pizzeria in East Aurora. I've only had their pizza so I can't speak for the wings but I can't imagine they'd be bad. They also have fast delivery. We ordered a sheet pizza for delivery and are outside the village of EA and it arrived in about 45 minutes. Some places make you have an hour notice before you even factor in delivery time. Very central location in the village and has a big parking lot so you don't have to park on the street. read more
