I had to come back and double down on my review. Usually when I say I will never go back when I am unsatisfied I don't. However recently my 95 yo mother broke her hip and had to be operated on. Life has been unbearably hectic and I have not been able to eat as healthy as I would like so I thought I would bury the hachet for the time being and go back to this store without trying to save myself time and order online due to your broken system. The manager Daniela Flores interrupted my rushed meal to say that she saw that I was here and that the service must be better. It was so obvious that she was trying to make a point of my previous post. I told her that actually no nothing has changed and in fact I have had to come in because your online system is still useless. And since I can not order online I have to waste more of my time and rush to eat. On top of that when I went up to the counter to ask for her superiors information and reiterated my distaste for her approach I then had to be sarcastically verbally attacked by one of your customers who had no idea about why I was pissed off to begin with. So let me say that as much as I used to love your salads I will NEVER spend another dime at ANY Just Salad location thanks to your manager trying to prove some moot point. read more

I'm up from Florida on family business, and was looking for a place to get a salad for lunch to take out. I had never heard of this restaurant before and decided to try it. What a great decision!! Upon entering I noticed that the place was bright, airy and most of all appeared very clean. The menu looked extensive and some of the choices were quite tempting but I went for something traditional. I ordered the Chicken Caesar. I watched it be freshly prepared in full view with all the ingredients listed and then the server mixed it all with just the right amount of dressing that I asked for. The price point was very reasonable for a salad and most of the other salads were in the same price range give or take a dollar or two. The salad was DELICIOUS. The greens had just the right crunch, there was just the right amount of dressing and the roasted chicken had great flavor. The salad was enough that I had to save something over for dinner, and I'm no lightweight when it comes to eating. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What a great decision! My only regret is that the company has no locations outside of the northeast. There is a deft of locations for a good salad in South Florida (Delray Beach) and a hungry population just waiting for something like this. Come on down!!!! read more

Wow, I just came back to Just Salad as always. I was welcomed by Tiffany. I missed the warm hello. As usual, the place was clean and well kept. The service was great. One thing was different Tiffany was moved up to manager position. I was so happy for her. I knew they would move her up the ranks one day. She is a very hard worker. I was waiting for Just Salad to open up in Westbury for a while and I was in the neighborhood and decided to give it to try today. I guess I was the first customer and got there at around 10:45 AM everything looked very fresh and the restaurant was very clean. The lady asked me if I wanted a reusable bowl for $1 and I agreed but I noticed the regular bowls were bigger in my opinion. So getting the reusable bowl is not worth it but it was too late to change to the regular bowl. I got the California Cobb today and it really tasted very good I think it's better than Chop't. I would go back and try all the different salad bowls and wraps. read more

This chain is probably the worst one. I love salads and their food but it's just poorly run. I went to get my to go order and they didn't start until I arrived to the store. It's always one person making all the salads and the other one doing the to-go orders. I feel bad for the people working because they are trying their best. This place is pretty awesome. I was just walking down the road and saw that it was having its grand opening. The place was super busy but I got my salad in about 4 minutes. I got the buffalo chicken salad and It was really good and though they were running a $5 salad special, I saw that they will be reasonably priced when they go full send. I visited this new establishment with my husband for lunch, a day ago. Both of us ordered the earth bowl with chicken. Very tasty and plentiful. The reason one star was lost, was that I wanted two other dishes, before settling for the one I got, since they didn't have all the ingredients needed. Apparently they were cooking them . I waited for at least 15 minutes, but no ingredients came out. Hopefully all these kinks will be sorted out, because if there aren't enough ingredients at lunchtime, then when? To top it off, I used the bathroom which ran out of toilet paper and no one took care to keep it in order. And yet many of the servers were standing around idly. well, to start, I am not a big salad lover generally. There are many other salad places similar to just salad that I have tried (Chopt, Sweetgreen) and I have not been back because I am not impressed. However, my 21-year-old daughter introduced me to Just Salad in Westbury a few months ago, and the two of us are there at least twice a week! The selection of salad choices is the best of any chain I've been to! The food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is great, and the line moves quickly. One of the best parts about going to this Just Salad is Daniela, who often helps us. She is always smiling and friendly, and even knows our order at this point, which is very impressive! She is so great that, even though you get rewards through ordering through the app, we don't do that so we can have her make our salads : ) read more

Food is great, workers are nice but corporate is terrible. Refusing to give a paying customer a "display" bowl when it's "sold out" while there are TWO of them on the shelves is not a good policy to have. Also why doesn't the app show what is sold out or not? Why allow me to pay for it when you don't have it? This isn't about the location that is great it's corporate I have the issue with. read more

I was super excited to try this place, as it just opened up down the road from my house and office.....Disappointment is an understatement. It is like a bunch of prepackaged items lined up with premade warmed up meats and a bunch of dressings. I ordered a salad and a wrap. Sunday April 30th, 2023 was my first time visiting Just Salad. It was so good that I came back the next day, Monday May 1, 2023. As soon as I walked in both times I was greeted with such a warm welcome with people always eager to assit. Both times Angelina took my order she was always so helpful, sweet, kind, and attentive. She asked me what kind of salad I was in the mood for, even asked what my allergens were the first time and the second I came in she remembered everything all while doing her job with a smile. Now I think she has spoiled me because I went back a 3rd time on Wednesday May 3rd during their $5 salad deal it was so crowded I only wanted her to take my order. She saw me and immediately took over my order and it made my day. If you haven't tried Just Salad yet you should, you won't be disappointed. Ordered from here 3 times. The first 2 times were great. Fresh salad and accurate orders. The third time the orders were totally wrong. My bbq chicken salad had feta in it!!! It comes with sharp cheddar. I hate feta so the salad went in the trash. The lettuce also looked so wilted and not fresh. If you don't have an ingredient reach out to the client don't substitute for something else. Don't know if it was an off day today but I'm not happy and don't know if I'd go back! read more

It is so nice to see that Just Salad opened up in Westbury, New York. From the time you walk into the store to the time you actually leave, you are made to feel valued, respected and appreciated by the entire staff, and above all, by the store manager, whose name is Kevin. What I am most impressed about is the cleanliness of the store and the fact that they are always fully stocked with all they are serving. The entire staff is super friendly and truly go out of their way to ensure that the customer is being attended to in an expeditious manner and being fully present to the customer so that the order is perfect. This store has an amazing manager whose name is Kevin. He leads by example and makes sure that he sets a positive example for his staff to follow. He is the first to help customers and works really hard. He is very professional and friendly. He goes out of his way to remember the customers' names and recalls specific details about their order.
