My experience is mixed - they did a alignment on my jeep which other shops couldn't do (just tires happens to have a strap on type sensor)but the good stops there-they installed one of the adjustment cams backwards. I had noticed it after driving home that way- when I returned they said they didn't have time to fix it and to come back the next day- when I showed up the next day they said the tech called in and to come back at 1:00. When I returned at 1:00 the same guy at the desk that said that morning they had no tech that could operate the alignment rack proceeded to fix my jeep. ?? They're nice enough but apathetic. I made an appointment and came in they told me it would be an hour -now I understand sometimes things take a little bit longer but now we're into the 2 1/2 hour mark. I'm OK with it taking longer than one hour but you need to know your business well enough to know that it's going to take longer -that way your customer can make use of his or her time effectively. I could've left the premises and gotten errands done, but instead they kept stringing me along with "oh just another 15 minutes oh just another 15 minutes..." This was my first trip to Just Tires and they fixed a flat tire on my car in a reasonable amount of time and did not try to upsell me on any additional service nor scare me into a new set of tires. These guys saved the day for us. After an hour into a 7-hour journey pulling a boat, we had a blow out on an odd sized trailer tire which they did not stock. However, they quickly made a few phone calls (at 7:30 a.m. Sat) located a tire, had it delivered and installed it in less than 45 minutes. I stopped by the just tires on 83 and north in Elmhurst. I was in a critical situation. I needed a new tire rod but also had to be back at school later that night. Not only where they able to complete the job in 2 hours BUT they were able to help me out because I was a student. The man at the counter, who's name i think was Rueben, was a God send and honestly is what customer service is all about. I will definitely go back there when I need to new tires!! I recently took my car in for oil and filters change and to do the breaks. The staff at JT is amazing! They did a great job with my car and after doing the inspection on everything that requires work the store manager gave me a call and went through everything that is wrong with my car and needs to be fixed. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, because they took me in with no appointment and got on my car right away, but they made it absolutely impossible for me to give better than one! I took my car in for a quick oil change because my regular mechanic needs to hold my car for the day for any service. This place said I need tires which I did. I went with them and asked to put the best tire they remove, on my spare rim. As they were finishing up the store manage told me my spare rim is a different size than my other rims. I said it was impossible, but they did not believe me or check! So when they pulled my car out, I asked the guy who put the new tires on my car to come to the parking lot and look at my spare rim size. He looked and said the tires he changed are 17" and my spare is 16"...WTF!!! This guy just changed all 4 of my 16" rim tires and is trying to tell me he just put on 17" tires. I told him to read what is on the tires he just put on and he refused. He walked me into the shop and showed me a stack of used tires and the top one was a 17" I told him first, this is not my tire and second, how did you remove 4 16" tires and get 4 16" new tires and put them on my car and never see that they are 16", then choose to believe my spare rim is a different size than my other rims instead of looking at one of the new tires you just changed? THEY ARE A TIRE SHOP!!! I grabbed the service manager because the store manager already left to ask him to get someone to swap the spare tire. The service manager said my spare is the best one out of the bunch, which was absolutely not true because I just bought a brand new tire from Amigo down the street from my house 3 months earlier and put the one he replaced it with as my spare so I know that one is better than the used spare I had so why lie, but I let it go and left. The next day I hit the windshield washer and nothing came out. They did the oil change but didn't check the windshield washer fluid and who knows what else they didn't check!!! I chalk it up to a bad day and bring another vehicle in for 4 more tires a couple weeks later. I get the same guy doing this vehicle that did the other...great!!! I watch him balance the tire and when he went to put the weight on, it shot off. The guy looked for it for a second and then took the tire off the machine and put it on my car. I grabbed the service manager again. He said it was a small weight, they got the main weight on and the small one would have just fell off later. THEY ARE A TIRE SHOP!!! Why would they need two weights instead of just the right sized one, and even if they need two, if one is "gonna fall off anyway" why put it at all or why not buy ones that won't fall off!!! Anyhow, I let that go too. When I got in the car, I noticed weight on only 3 tires. Since I was done hearing the lies, I left and took my car to Cassidy Tire down the street and asked them to check just the tire with no weight. He said it needed 20 oz which is a much bigger weight than any of the weights on any of the other 3 tires. I paid over $700 for the tires and now have to pay another $80 to get them re balanced somewhere else because at Just tires in Elmhurst it appears that getting away with the least amount of effort possible is their business model!!! It seems to work too, cause the new shop is huge! I guess ignorance is bliss. What the customer doesnt know won't hurt him, just his car and the comfort of his ride!!! read more

I have frequented this store a lot due to the low prices and the location however I am done! I had to get a tire patched as it had a screw in it. They told me 45 mins. There were 7 employees and 3 cars counting my car. It took two hours. They are excessively slow! I am totally done with this place. Last time I scheduled an oil change at 7 am I was the only car there and it took them 2 hours. I am now paying $30 more to get my oil changed in 15 mins. And I guess discount tires just got a new customer. read more

I don't mind waiting my turn if it means I will be greeted with a smile. I have been here for every tire purchase or repair for many years. I find the staff friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I'm an older woman and they do not "talk down" to me, but DO explain what's wrong and the options for repair. (They could have suggested buying a new tire when I came in for a tire pressure problem, but they said a simple patch would be OK. It was.) Stay away. I called and ordered two tires. They told me the tires came in, I made an appointment, arrived, they begn working on the car. After 45 minutes they tell me they can't find my new tires. "We looked everywhere". This was AFTER they removed my old tires. They told me they could put "temporary" tires on, then I could come BACK and have my new tires put on another day. No thanks. I told them to put my old tires back on. I made an appointment online for new tires and oil change. When I showed up I was told to come back in 1.5 hours. Then, over 3 hours and 4 return trips later, they were still not done. When I asked for a resolution to this situation, the tech offered to skip the safety and alignment checks so I could leave faster. Very unprofessional. Will never come here again. read more

I finally had to buy tires for my car. I looked at Sam's club, but didn't feel comfortable with them working on my car. I decided to go here instead. They located my four tires at another store and had them sent to this location. I arrived at about 4:30 on Friday afternoon to have them installed along with an oil change (took about an hour and a half to have these services done). This new location is very nice and clean with easy access and plenty of parking. The waiting area is comfortable and large. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and polite and was working very hard since they were so busy. My patience was rewarded with rims that were returned in the same condition that I brought them in - no scratches or blemishes. I am very OCD about my car and really appreciated the care that they took. I will definitely return to this location and would recommend it highly. read more

Left the car, came back to pick it up and it was ready when they said it would be. They even left it inside on a snowy night so I didn't have to brush it off or get back into a cold car. I couldn't be more pissed at this place. I had a pretty good experiance with them when I bought a new set of tires there for my car. But three months later I got a flat and my wife took the tire in to be repaired. There was nothing unusual about the puncture, an easy fix in the middle of the tread The last flat I got like this Discount tire fixed for free. The local service station charges $20. Discount tire's price? $40!! My wife didn't know any better. I would have never paid this much for a job that should take about 15 minutes and maybe a $1 for a plug. I called to complain and they just hung up on me!! You have to wonder if they saw a woman come in figured she wouldn't know any better. read more

HORRIBLE. I needed 4 new tires so I thought a place called "Just Tires" made sense. Not the case. I made 3 VISITS TOTAL, and then had to have a friend service it after that! The first time, they pinched a tube so the tires wouldn't hold pressure. The second time, while fixing what they broke the first time, they tripped my tire pressure sensor and claimed they couldn't get the tire pressure light to go off. I went home and checked the tire pressure, and the tire pressure light didn't go off because they didn't put enough air in them. The 3rd time I went I told them to look at the sticker on the door of my car for the appropriate tire PSI, but somehow still they underinflated them. Finally, a friend of mine added air to the tires and the tire pressure light finally went off. The whole ordeal spanned over a month, and each time you go you should plan on staying at least 2 hours. read more

I've been coming to this Just tires for a while. but today they really just messed up! so I made an On-line appointment to get an oil change. and before you finish everything there a small part that ask is there any issues that they should know before working on your car. So I put the issue that was wrong with my car my truck leaks oil due to a missing Gasket cap that my normal guy I take my car too said its fine but he'll put the part in when it comes in ( at the moment he on vacation). well when I went to the place they took my keys and my car and told me to wait and they'll start right away after waiting an hour I was told buy the worker that they could not do any service on my Truck because of the oil leak. though I had put that it leaks oil but it still can be change and etc. Now if it against policy to work on a car with that problem that's fine but why did I waste my time putting that note on it and on top of that coming into the place to get the oil change. I would also think before he took my keys he would read the note I had posted on the appointment! so I'm just going wait until the guy I normally go to fixes and do the oil change ( different place) but I feel I just waited so much time. on something they could've told me before I wasted an hour and so waiting. I wouldn't have been mad if they couldn't do it from the start but to have me wait that's just stupid. read more

I've been going to this store for some 15 years. I've always had a good experience. Recently I had a flat and I was really impressed by Arias who apparently was the manager. He was courteous, kind and most knowledgeable. He had the tire fixed and put back on the car. I had bought the standard insurance on the tire and there was no cost. More importantly, Arias took the necessary steps to ensure that I was satisfied before he knew about the insurance. He was great as was the staff. Nice job/well done. read more

i went here to have some tires transferred to other wheels and to get 2 new tires. the wheels were from an old car and i was told by presumably the guy in charge, that they didnt have the same size tires. Knowing that would be the case, i tried to get any tires i could get. well "greg" was the rudest he could be and wouldnt explain properly why he wouldnt do it and even said at the end that it was too much of a problem for him to explain. well, i hope they are happy to have him. i'll never go back. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE!! I was an hour away from home when my sensors started warning me "WARNING TIRE PRESSURE DANGEROUSLY LOW" I pulled over and could hear the air leaking and my tire very low. I quickly Googled tire shops and since it is Saturday most were closed but just tires was 10 min away from where I was. I got there about 40 min before closing time and the rude guy at the front, with dreads, quickly told me they couldn't help me bc they were going to close soon. I told him it was an emergency I was about to be stranded but nope he just shrugged his shoulders basically saying it wasn't his problem. I asked if there was ANYTHING they could do for me and he just nodded his head no just gathering papers not even looking at me while I spoke . So there I was an hour away with my 8 yr old in the back seat and these a-holes couldn't do ANYTHING. It was an emergency I could have gotten in an accident in the condition my tire was! I understand it was a Saturday we all just wanna get home on a Saturday but seriously to turn away a customer knowing they are basically stranded and could cause an accident is just HORRIBLE! I work in the medical field yes it's a completely different type of job but if we have a patient, with an emergency, even one min before closing time we take them in!
