They hire the worst staff at this location and are always understaffed and unwilling to help there customers. 3 employees on a Friday afternoon only one of them knows how to do a rotation and balance...find that hard to believe. I am giving Just Tires in Montclair, CA ZERO STAR rating. But Manny the Head Mechanic deserves a 5 gold star rating. Manny is a fantastic mechanic and super friendly. However, Jessica is absolutely horrible. Her customer service is probably the worst in any business I have rated, next to my old HOA. Here is why its so bad.. I own a 3 yr alignment contract with them for both of my cars. However the past 6 months or so have made me reconsider renewing. 1st appointment made online. After driving 30 minutes to get to the shop. I get there and I was told by Jessica that Manny was not there and no one else could check my alignment. Why wouldn't there appointment system block out days or times when the head mechanic is off? Simple fix. But when I asked that question, Jessica gave me a s%!++y attitude, as if I were to blame for expecting an appointment to be kept and completed to satisfaction. 2nd appointment.. also made online. I called ahead to confirm Manny was going to be working. He was scheduled to be off, so again.. horrible online scheduling system but at least I was smart enough to figure it out the second time. 3rd appointment, also online. I called and confirmed Manny was working at the time of my appointment.. so far so good. I show up 15 minutes early and again Jessica is working. She tells me Manny has to finish up his current alignment job. But he also has to do a brake job on a 2nd vehicle. Jessica tells me, Manny won't have time to do my alignment.. again!! Come back tomorrow. If I wanted my appointment the next day I would have made my appointment the next day!! What is the purpose of my appointment if any potential vehicle that shows up anytime before me for any reason basically just cancelled my appointment. 4th appointment .. made online and Manny is confirmed to be working. I show up 15 minutes early and Manny just left for lunch. Jessica gives me more s&%++y attitude when I ask about the scheduled appointment and 90 min turn time, per the online appointment confirmation. I understand Manny earns his lunch time, but just dont allow appointments to be booked during his lunch hour. She checks me in and takes my keys but doesn't give me any paperwork. I leave and go have lunch. Return about 2 hours later and Manny says alignment is about complete. I return to Jessica again to check out. She confirms my name and hands me my paperwork for the alignment. Name and phone number are correct. Address, vehicle make and model, year and color and license plate are completely wrong, and only shows an alignment check. Does not reflect my contract info, nor actual alignment job completion. I pointed out all the errors. She then hand wrote vehicle info on the sheet, still WRONG info, and said she would update the computer system later. Awesome.. more wrong info that should help No thank you for your continued business, sorry for the delay, sorry for all the errors, sorry for my s#!++y attitude. Just more s#!++y attitude. No point in arguing with ignorant people, I just left. If Manny was not an amazing mechanic, I would never do business with these clowns. And even with Manny working there, I will not be renewing my alignment contracts with Just Tires. read more

I dropped my car off for a tire rotation and alignment, I asked how long it would be till it was ready, they informed me I was next in line and it would be about an hour. They would call me when ready. I came back after having lunch, a little over an hour and a half. They had not even started on my car. None of the techs were currently working on any cars. They asked if I could wait an extra 15 minutes for them to start and finish my car. I said no and left. Just a waste of my time. read more

I wish I could give Negative stars but yelp won't let me. Just tires on Central ave in Montclair Ca, This is by far the WORST tire shop when it comes to customer service, knowledge and helpfulness. I live down the street and have multiple times come in with a flat or nail and asked for help. And the answer is Always "No we are busy" even when there Is in 1 car in the Whole lot! Constantly I have seen people in uniforms sitting around laughing (not working) or snail like walking to get to the "customers" car to fix. The attitude of the guy behind the counter every time is rude and has a no way I want to help you attitude. I have multiple cars that I will always drive to the Azusa store because of the Great and helpful service I get there, and never once got help from this joke of a store.. This place is absolutely horrible. Go. Somewhere. Else. Let me preface that I've been in the automotive industry for 5 years - 3 in mechanics, 2 and a bit in service, similar to the offering of this Just Tires location. Now I understand why the industry gets such a bad wrap. I needed just a basic tire rotation. I'd normally do it myself, but I was visiting family in the area and hadn't found time to do it previously, so when we called Just Tires and they said it was free and that they could get me in right away if we arrived soon, we took the deal. My mom and I drove over in separate cars so that we could just drop mine off, and went inside. We were greeted by who we assumed to be the manager. I let him know that I had called ahead of time and just needed a tire rotation. He asked if I needed alignment as well, and I said no, they're fine (again, I'VE BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY FOR 5 YEARS). He whipped his head up, glared at me, and said, "how do you know?" I said it's because I've been a mechanic for several years, but if it's free, fine, he can check the alignment. I asked if they wouldn't mind double-checking the tightness of the oil filter while the car was in the air, as I'd just changed it and wanted to check it after driving a bit. He glared at me again and then said okay. We leave. About 15 minutes later, I receive a call. It went as follows: Just Tires manager (JTM): Hi, we can't do the rotation Me: Why not? JTM: The tires are bad Me: What do you mean they're bad? JTM: They're bad Me: Yes, but how are they bad? JTM: The tread is bad. You need new tires. Me: What are they measuring at? JTM: They're less than 5/32nds, we don't rotate less than 5/32nds. You need new tires. Me: No, I'm good. I'll check them when I get back. JTM [clearly taken aback]: You need new tires. Me: Yeah, okay. I'm not going to buy them right now. JTM: Fine *hangs up* For all you fine folks, the legal limit for tire tread is 2/32nds. It's not uncommon for some companies/facilities to have policies that state they will not service cars/tires under a certain threshold, in this case, 5/32nds. However, stating that I needed new tires required my own measurement to make that decision. We go to pick up my car, and I double-check that they checked the oil filter's tightness. They say they did, but since they clearly didn't lift my car in the air, I'm not sure how they would have done this. The manager also huffed at me when I asked the question. Upon getting back home and retrieving the tread depth gauge that I keep in the toolbox in my trunk, I measure the tires. The two at the front were at 5/32nds, the two at the back were at 6/32nds. Not only had this guy refused my service against THEIR OWN POLICY, he tried to scare-tactic me into purchasing new tires when 1) I clearly didn't need them and 2) he obviously thought I had no idea what I was talking about and was incapable of making my own decisions. My first time utilizing Just Tires and I had a great experience! My car has 60k plus miles so I needed an oil change and other maintenance related services. I made an appointment online, arrived a bit earlier and spoke with one of the team members. They recommend a ventilation cleaning service and gave me a $20 discount! They took car of my oil change, tire rotation (included), and checked my brakes(included) (still in good condition). After they handed my keys I turned on my car and a bulb signal light turned on. I went back to the manager and he helped me right away. The top brake light for my Hyundai Elantra went out and he replaced it at no cost! I actually have a free oil change service as part of my dealership but was disgusted by their shark tactics to overprice and take advantage of you that I decided to try Just Tires. Anyone who is tired of getting ripped off by their dealership mine is (Glendora Hyundai ) then stop by Just Tires ! They have fair prices and are easy to work with. read more

Over exorbitant wait times for simple fixes, techs moving at a snails pace. I purchased a warranty for alignment here but I can never get any work done when I need it, regret purchasing the warranty 100%. Even on a Sunday morning I should up at 20 minutes after they opened in the morning and the wait time is 3 hours already...I am not waiting 3 hours to rotate my tires, I went to a small shop down the street and it took less than 30 minutes. Next time reconsider the warranty as you will be here a full day for a simple task to be done. Zero stars. read more

Quick fast service. Had a blow out on my front tyre, came in and within an hr I was in and out. The service was good, one thing didn't like was they told me my 3 other tires were going to need changing soon. I take good care of my tires and have Goodyear Touring Eagles and have had them for like 1yr. I bought them because they were rated the best for my vehicle and had the highest mileage on them interms of what I'd get out of them. They are about a $320+ tyre each. I knew they were bullshiting because, one I checked the thread and there is more than 70% there and #2 I took my car in to a family friend who has a car shop and he was like what are they talking about,...you have over 70% of your thread remaining. I rotate and wheel aligne my tyres every 5000 miles so know what I'm doing, they obviously need to become a tyre expert before advising their clients with ridiculous information. I'm not a single lady you can take advantage of guys. Please be realistic or advise someone the right way. read more

They wanted $180.....PER TIRE!!!! Insane crazy labor prices, with Tax would have been over $800 easy. I went to American Tire in Pomona off Foothill and Garey they charged me $45 per tire. DO NOT BRING BUSINESS HERE !!!! Came in at 9am as they open on Sundays. I was here Saturday the previous day had my car here for 3 hours nobody touched it. Came today I waited with my car 2 hours and of course nobody touched it. My car wasn't able to even be serviced, but to my surprise when I entered my car it wasn't showing that I need maintenance. basically all they do here is Takeaway the notification on your car then don't do anything with it at all. I came here because I read great reviews about Manny the alignment technician. He was here today so I bought the 3yr unlimited alignment program for 179.00 total on my 2014 BMW. Manny told me there was a problem with a front tire bolt so he changed it out and even double checked that all bolts were tightened on all tires before I left. Thank you Manny! read more

Only picked one star because I had to. They deserve zero. I will never go back to this location again or any Just Tires because of how I was treated here. Paul and Adam are absolute unprofessional clowns. I rent a car through Lyft and was told via the Lyft app that I was due for services. I told Paul, the supposed manager owner whatever, that Lyft sent me there and that I need whatever services they require and he even remembered me from my last Lyft service less than a month ago. He couldn't find my account from before so he put it under my personal info in the system (whereas last time it was via Lyft's account.) Instead of doing the correct thing and same this time around so I wouldn't be charged, Paul conned me and signed me up for a service under my personal name and one that I had to pay out of pocket for. When I brought it to his attention that they're charging me for an inspection when last time it was no charge for maintenance, he told me it's because I asked for the wrong service. He absolutely knew what service I wanted and because I didn't use mechanical terms, he signed me up for the service I had to pay out of pocket for. He didn't even try to verify with Lyft what services needed to be done as they have a partnership. When I asked the super slow cashier Adam for a copy of both receipts from all services I had done there, he got a vicious attitude and asked why I wanted them?!! Uhhh because I know you ripped me off and they're my receipts that's why!! I simply was going to just ask Lyft for a reimbursement but when I told them I wasn't leaving until they made this right with the copies of the receipts, they threatened to call the cops on me and made me leave lol how unprofessional is that?!!!?
