Went to Just Tires (Norridge, IL) to have a nail hole patched. I was a first time customer. The nail was in front left tire. Tire's fairly new so I unmounted tire myself and brought it in. I'm told they will remove the nail and patch the hole. Great! I don't hear from them for 6 hours. Finally I call, "Yea your tire's ready." Get it, pay and go home and mount it. Next day wife drives car about 1 mile and doesn't realize tire is flat. I un-mount tire again and go back to Just Tires. "Lou" tells me to drop it off and he'll call. 1.5 hours later "Lou" tells me I had a "second" nail is in the tire. I inspect and point out the "new" nail is suspiciously in the same spot the "other" nail was in. I leave the tire because I figure when they take tire from the rim they'll see that the patch fell off or something malfunctioned. I get a call 1 hour later from "Lou"  that this tire "wasn't patched" (aka I am lying and/or brought in a different tire). Also tells me tire is wrecked from driving flat so I need a new tire. But "Lou" tries to sell me a new tire for $200. So here's what happened: they botched the original patch. When the error was discovered, "Lou" decides to runs cover for whichever mechanic screwed up. I'm out $41.07 and made 3 round trips to this store, and because they didn't fix the tire right in the first place I have to buy a new tire. I complained online to Good-year and their Regional Manager contacted me and fixed the error; even getting me a new tire and a refund. However I cannot recommend this particular location. For a tire patch please go to Ted's at Addison/Forest preserve drive. They'll take good care if you - and do it honestly. read more

I love going to this place and have never had any issues. Today went in for my wheel alignment and tire rotation. I was called and asked where the tire lock is. Told them I would be there in five minutes to get it if it is in my car. As I was walking to the back I was told that they were looking for it. I asked what do you mean looking for it? The employees told me that they were looking through my car to see if they could find the Lugnut lock. I told them you didn't receive permission, to go through my personal items or my car to look for anything! You are to call the customer and ask first before you go through anything. read more

I have been to this location a couple times and every time I wonder why I came back. They have a special where if you buy two oil changes, they rotate your tires for free. A simple oil change takes them hours to do. They always underestimate them time and it ends up taking twice as long as they say. I have an electronic oil change reminder that goes on if I am overdue for an oil change. It went on a couple weeks after my oil change the last two times because they aren't even competent enough to know how to reset it! My last straw was a couple of weeks ago. I bought a warranty that is supposed to cover my tires in cases of a flat for life. Of course, as is life, I got a flat recently and drove to get it repaired. My visit didn't start off well when the guy in front of me noticed that they had not rotated his tires even though they charged him for a rotation. That was obviously true because they didn't even deny it. Then they call me an hour after I dropped off my car to tell me that my tire was not covered because the tire they sold me was defective and that they best that they could do for me was half off a new tire. That shouldn't be my problem. Anyways... I walked out of there $125 poorer and two hours later with a new lesson learned.... never return! read more

Just Tires is just that ... tires. I've bought tires from this location and the install was quick and adequate. With the Harlem Irving Plaza (HIP) mall across the street the location is great, since you can go shopping while you wait. The problem I have here is when I took my parents car in for an alignment, they did the alignment and I thought everything was fine, well it wasn't. I have taken the car back five times over the last year and they can never get it right. In fact my mechanic said there were parts not correctly adjusted and it could have been possibly dangerous. That being said, I would only go here to buy tires and not have an alignment done. It is time for an update of Just Tires. I am bumping it up by one star and "Yay! I'm a fan" and also a happy and satisfied customer. I purchased all four of my tires here less than one ago. I scheduled a 7 am appointment and arrived 10-minutes before they opened. I was the first one to be taken care of which I appreciated (unlike my 11-12-2013 experience). My car was placed on the lift within minutes. They found a 2-inch screw in the rear passenger tire. They were able to fix the rear passenger tire within 34-40 minutes. I was glad it wasn't a long drawn-out wait. It wasn't a hassle and the young men who work here were courteous, professional and a bit effusive. The temperature was changing a lot over the last several weeks. My air pressure light kept coming on and I kept putting air in my rear tires. The front ones were just fine, but I noticed that it was always the rear passenger tire that always needed air. I assumed it had a slow leak and something wasn't right. I had it checked out and it was resolved quickly. Best of all, it did not cost anything. My tire was fixed without any charge because my tires are less than 1-year and they were purchased here. Sweet baby Jesus -- that's what I'm talkin' about! This place is well maintained and clean. They used to have free coffee here, but they no longer offer this so I was glad I grabbed a cup of coffee at a nearby Panera Bread. I am also glad that I grabbed an oatmeal. I don't eat fast food, but as I drove up Harlem Avenue (south bound) I noticed a McDonald's on the west side of Harlem just a bit south of Foster Avenue. The Panera Bread is on the west side of Harlem Ave (turn right going west) onto Cullom Ave and hang a left into the parking lot. The PB is in a strip mall and there is a large fitness center toward the rear which you cannot miss. This PB opens super early in the morning. I brought along my lap top, but was not able to use it here so I guess they have no free WI-FI. Crap! I passed the time by watching their TV and reading a magazine. At least they had material for reading ;D I noticed it was not very busy early on Thursday morning. If you are able to come during a week day -- do it -- otherwise, schedule your appointment early in the morning and hope for the best! read more

My family has bought 3 sets of tires from this store . Dave the store manager always goes out of his way to help in service and price. Service employees (Connie and Lou) Very helpful. I don't always rate tire stores but any negative ratings I've seen on here did not pertain to my dealings! Yes this a ultra busy store so service can bog down a little. I went here to have new tires put in. The installed 4 new tires & within a few hours I was on my way. The next day one of tires began to go flat. I returned to Just Tires & they said they would look at my tires. After a 3 hr. wait, I was told the sensor in my tires stem needed to be adjusted (which they did free of charge) & I was on my way. Two days later, the same tire began to go flat yet again. I took my car into another tire shop. Without a appointment or hesitation, they had me drive in & took my tire off in front of me to see what the problem was. They showed me that rim had been damaged & in turn it was making my new tire bubble out & would eventually damage it. They also took a black piece of tape off from around the rim where they stated someone must have put that on in an attempt to cover up the damaged rim. Went to have our tire patched from what we assumed was a nail hole. Three hours later they said it was actually our tire sensor that was broken and it'd cost 150 to replace. On October 15 2020 09:59 AM my husband had new tires put on our 2014 Subaru Impreza at Just Tires 7213 Forest Preserve Norridge Illinois 60706. Invoice #480178 They had told him that he qualified for a rebate offer for $50.00. Rebate Offer #704706. All paperwork was sent out on October 15,2020 by mail. After 3 months of waiting for rebate. I called 1-844-539-5503 and a voicemail comes on and then it hangs up before you could leave a message. Than I called 1800-522-7458 for information on the rebate. Went on the website www.goodyeartirerebates.com So far as of 01-01-2021 we haven't received a rebate. We went back to Just Tires where we purchased the tires And we were giving copies of the paperwork again so we could resend it in and we have not heard from nor we haven't gone the rebate. With the experience that we have gone through we are not going to recommend our family nor our friends. read more

Went to get a simple oil change the old man with glasses took care of me first of all he was talking a million miles an hour couldn't understand him I kept having to ask him to repeat his self. Took forever for him to finish putting me in their system. Sat down for about 25 minutes my car remained in the same spot I parked it. So I get up and ask how much longer. He responds "it's gonna be a while" why wouldn't he tell me that in the beginning I'm in waiting over a hour for a oil change. If you can't do them efficiently don't do them. Simple as that. Really disappointed!! I spent a lot of money here on a set of tires and I've been here for issues with nails in my tires, etc. and never had an issue. I stopped in today for a leak in one of my tires and got asked if I wanted to leave it? I said no I'll wait, and he said your welcome to, we will get to it before we close at 5! It was just after 1! I said are you kidding me, 4 hours to fix a leak in a tire! Yet, there were 6 people standing behind the desk. The guy helping me, a girl talking to a customer on the phone and 4 other guys who I can only figure were techs. If they are so busy that they can't fix a leak in a tire for 4 hours why are so many employees standing around. I went home and talked to my boyfriend about a part I ordered and he told me "they just ripped you off". Needless to say I did not need the part that was ordered and got my $248 back. When I walked back in the person who sold me the part looked surprised to see me and did not even apologize. He looked pissed off and bothered that he was giving me a refund. Took the Black Friday deal on tires. Made appt. online. Came in at time, took all coupons and had the car in minutes. (And it was busy as shit!) Came back after coffee next door and car was almost done. Seems to be really cranking them through this place and lots of people on duty. Rule of thumb for ALL tire joints. MAKE A FLIPPIN APPOINTMENT!!! They take you on time and you don't wait. It's really that simple. I was skeptical but it works! Don't just walk in the door at open and think you are the first in line. Brought my car here last week to replace a tire. They had to order the tire and said it would be in sometime the following day. Once it came in they said they would call me. A week later I didn't hear anything so I gave them a call and they were like oh yeah the tire is here.... Thanks for calling guys. Then when I asked how long it would take to change the tire if i came in right now they said it would be an hour or less. Over 2 hours later they finally finished my tire. Best part is both days I was there there were a bunch of people sitting in the waiting section and just about everyone was pissed off and complining. They fixed my problem- the place gets real busy- so plan for that. To me tires stores are kind of like Mattress stores...they seem to be everywhere till you need one. Just Tires closed a shop at Central/Diversey- so this Harlem location has to do, but if you make an appointment and get their early, you should be able to get in and out quickly. Called just tires looking for a quote on tires, spoke with Agnes. She was very professional and knowledgeable! She gave me a quote on tires for my mini van and I headed over. Got to the location and again spoke with Agnes who did all the paperwork and get me in and out in about 90 mins! Agnes also pointed out that I had a pretty significant oil leak and showed me where it was at! I had just had some work done on the oil gaskets and trans lines, I was getting ready to head out on a trip to Oshkosh Wisconsin so I'm very thankful that Agnes pointed it out! Called this place to get an Uber/Lyft inspection on a weekday evening as I work 9-5. They told me they are no longer doing inspections today because they are busy... unfortunately (for them or for me, I'm not sure), I drove by and saw exactly 1 car in the bay and exactly 7 employees in the business (red lights and big windows helped me make this assertion). While I go somewhere local for my auto business, I know a good amount of Lyft/Uber drivers and could have referred them here. But, you know, they're too busy. read more

I've gone 4-5 times bc it's so close and it gets worse every time, I'm so done with that place. I took my Lexus to this shop last month for oil change and tries rotations, after almost 2 hours waiting, they called me to pay and they hand me the key saying your car ready. I drove the car home after a parked in the garage l noticed 1 front wheel lock nut missing, the rear wheel one lock nut & stud completely broken, so a was driving the car with missing locks on wheels how dangerous is that, what about if l drove it on highway!?. The worse of it they didn't even inform me about all that(they thought l will not notice it!!!!!!!. So l took the car back and spoke to the manager "Dave" (he admitted that they broke the lock nuts ) but no apologizing for putting my life in danger, then he offer installing new locks ,but not orginal lexus like the ones they broke. So l called just tires customer services (which owned by good year company)in here was even worse understanding or care about how serious is the problem ( not informing the customer about broken part in his car and let it him driving away with missing wheels locks!!!!!!!!!??????.) I have had very good experiences here. I have worked with a staff member named Alan for the most part, and he is always very courteous and proffesional. I have had oil changes, tire rotation, and alignments etc. The prices are reasonable, and I always get a really good estimate of when my car will be ready for pickup. Which I appreciate, so that I do not waste time planning my day on my days off. Overall, I am very pleased with Just Tires in this location. read more

After years of loyalty to this location and putting up with Dave's smug attitude, I'm done with this place. Countless times they've tried to sneak in some extra charge without saying anything. When I question why the price isn't what he quoted, he pretends to have made "an error". I still went back though. This time I need a battery and an inspection for ride share. Went here a couple of years ago because my regular mechanic found that a rear tire needed to be replaced and was "dangerous" to drive on. Well, Just Tires was less thana mile away so over I headed. I walk in and tell the clerk I need a tire and he asks what brand the other three are so he can get one similiar. Cool. So we walk to the parking lot and he looks at the tire and says to me "Oh we only sell tires in pairs, not in singles". I thought he was joking so I told him that I had just come from the mechanic and he said that this one rear tire was bad, the other three were fine. Again he stated they only sell 2 tires minimum. So without saying a word I hopped into my car and made the trip to Sears Auto on Irving and Cicero where they not only sold me a new tire but their prices were way cheap! Never again! read more

I never really give reviews but had to do one at this place. I called 3 times in 1 week to get a price quote. The first time I called I said I am bringing my own tires and all I needed was a quote to change out 4 tires. The gentleman on the phone said $40 a tire. The second time I called I had to ask them about pricing for wheel alignment. The gentleman gave me the wheel alignment price and also said it was $35 a tire to install. (I thought to myself great its $5 less than what I was previously told a few days prior. The 3rd time I called I wanted to see if they would price match another lower price I was quoted at a different place for the alignment. The lady said she would ask the manager. The manager Arius (bad spelling) comes on the phone and feeds me some BS saying he would price match the alignment and that installation would be $50 a tire! I told him no way it was just a few days ago I was quoted $35 a tire. He feeds me more BS by saying hes sorry the prices change etc but will still honor me the $35 a tire install price. I will never go here again. Not just because of the money but because they lie about their prices just so they can satisfy their own quota etc. read more

Ok updating my review. Service was fast and they were very nice when I checked out. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and say I caught them at a bad moment when I arrived. I take offense to being treated as a bother when I show up on time for an appointment. Being dismissive of your customers is a bad business practice. For instance, when I greet you and you don't respond, I am guessing you did not hear me. So when I repeat myself, you should not respond with, "I heard you." If you heard me, you should have acknowledged me. I understand it's not easy to deal with the public, but it's not my fault that your poor choices in life led you to a vocation which requires you wear a name badge. I would simply appreciate it if you would treat me with the same courtesy I elected to show you. read more
