This place used to be good for tires and oil changes before they changed management and now they are just total scam artists. They recommend services for your car before even looking at the vehicle and more importantly, they don't do their job. I had my car serviced there in August and they did a full inspection and they said everything was fine. For my next oil change a few months later they told me I needed brake pads and rotors. When I asked about the last inspection that said my brakes were fine, they had no explanation. What's the point of a full inspection if it can't even catch low brake pads. Any idiot knows that brake pads and rotors don't go completely in a few months. Don't go there! They lie and don't do their job. read more

I roll in 5 minutes before my time and to the counter to check in. they say that they can't take my car until 45 mins to an hour later, because they are dealing with walk ins, and there are 4 of them in front of me. My son went in to get back brakes done. They charged him $500.00 for back brakes and rotors which I do not believe needed to be changed. My car was stuck at Trader Joe's parking lot because of a flat tire on a Sunday evening. It was around 5:40 PM when AAA tow truck picked me and my car up. I was going to tow it 40 miles home and hassle with getting a new tire Monday morning, but the truck driver said he could probably get me to a local place before they close. I was thrilled when he brought me to Just Tires and they were still open on a Sunday evening. Gilbert is the man, and the others in the shop were kind and helpful as well. Gilbert is very knowledgeable and offered other services such as future tire rotations with oil changes, and installing new shocks. Very impressive. I used to go to Just Tires in Oxnard, but then they closed. So I ended up at the TO location. I've gotten my tires here, and I get my oil changes. What I like about Just Tires, is their online reservation system, where I can select all the services I need. Also my tire rotations are free, since I bought my tires there. I used to go to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed, but every time Jiffy Lube tried to tack on more and more services, that I would leave spending over $100. At Just Tires they don't try to sell me on any unnecessary services. Most importantly, I don't leave feeling taken advantage of. read more

I went to Just Tires to get my oil changed and after an hour of working on my car the mechanic presented me with a list of services that he said were absolutely necessary. To be fair, I did need a new battery and he also suggested that I get my break fluid system flushed, which my regular mechanic agreed was necessary. But Just Tires was going to charge $99.00 to flush the break fluid system and my guy said he would do it for $60.00. But the real problem was that Just Tires also suggested that I needed a coolant system flush, a fuel line system flush, and a power steering system flush. My regular mechanic had replaced my radiator just five years ago and had flushed the system as part of that procedure. The power steering fluid was fine and my guy said he had never heard of a fuel system needing to be flushed, but if I wanted to I could get some fuel line cleaner from Pep Boys for about $6.00. The total estimate for the Just Tires suggested services was about $550.00 and in the end my mechanic ended up charging me $220.00 for the actually needed services. read more

I joined Yelp just to say how nice these guys were. I came in for a $20 oil change which is the CHEAPEST PRICE I've ever been able to find. They also filled my tires with air and inspected them for free. While waiting, I noticed how nice the general manager, Nieves, was who took care of everybody's needs. He had quite a few people asking if they could have their tires filled for free and he took care of them all without any problem. They have the cheapest prices on tires and if you find someone else with something cheaper they will beat it. I highly recommend visiting this location. read more

I don't really know about buying tires here, but I had a positive experience. I had a dashboard light go on showing low tire pressure. In Westlake on a Sunday there were few options. I drove into Just Tire on Thousand Oaks Blvd. and they checked each tire on a pressure machine that I could easily observe. One was low and they filled it to the appropriate pressure. Very disappointed in the service. Brought my car in with a spare tire on from AAA roadside service.. It took at hour to check my flat tire which I understood since it was crowded. I was told my paperwork was in line to get a new tire, which had already been wrung up. I kept inquiring as to when my new tire would be put on and was told that I was in line and my turn was coming up. An hour and a half later, I saw people paying for their finished work who had come in an hour after me. The manager who waited on me had been at lunch, and when the paperwork was taken to him in his car, he said he thought I had been taken care of. He dropped the ball. I should have been out of there much sooner. Very poor management!!! I won't return. read more

Called Just Tires to ask if they'd do a repair on my truck tire. I had a roofing nail in the outside tread. It's a big tire so it was almost 2 inches from the outside wall of the tire but they said the tire would have to be replaced....they couldn't repair something that close to the outside wall. It's an $800 tire and I can imagine they trick a lot of people in to buying new tires when it's not necessary. I took it to Grand American Tires and they repaired it and rotated my tires for FREE in less than 30 minutes. read more

OK. I know that people read reviews and say something like, "that was just their opinion." Or "It was just a fluke. It couldn't happen to me." Well, I'm here to tell you that could be the case IF it involved a rude employee (which is the case with the store Mgr) but this instance involves the basic competence of what you're paying for. I brought my car in for brake service, new tires and other things. Like others that have posted, I encountered Phil. I think Phil has died but just forgot to lie down. Personality? Fuhgettaaboutit!! He couldn't have cared less if I was there. As for the Mgr--- he's a real rude piece of work! But I digress... When I picked up my car after TWO DAYS (that's another story) I didn't realize they forgot to completely close the hood until I was down the block. But then a few days later I noticed this major wheel shimmy at freeway speeds. Not wanting to have to deal with the Mr Personality and his crew of clowns, I took the car somewhere else. They found that Just Tires hadn't balanced the new tires that they put on. So, you be the judge. Would you go to such a place where you can be treated like dirt and then have to pay someone else to do the job right? Luckily, I have a company car and do not incur any costs. Took my companies truck in for an alignment, they gave us a fair price and were able to get it back to us in a timely matter. Returned a while later to get a trailer tire inspected as it had a slow leak. They remembered who I was, identified the leak and patched it for free. read more

Our first visit to Just Tires after being so loyal to another shop for years.... My husband, Jon, brought his work truck there for tires, oil change and some brake work on a SUNDAY. First of all, open on Sunday is great! Robert was very knowledgable and offered very best customer care for my husband . When I went with my husband to pick up his truck, I had a question about my car. Robert not only offered to take a look at that moment, he offered to try and fix the issue. We went for a quick bite to eat and when we returned, Robert fixed the issue the other guys missed! Just had all 4 tires replaced here. The online appointment system worked great - they were expecting us when we arrived and got the car in immediately. When it was time to pick it up, it was parked (in the shade - thank you!) and the tires came with a mail-in rebate - for which they had the paperwork filled out and in an addressed envelope! I went in to get a new set of tires on 20-October-2015 and while waiting i could not help but notice all the nails, screws and cotter pins lying all over the entrance to the work bays. When i mentioned it to the asst manager he was very dismissive as if this was standard practice. He actually said maybe the wind blew them in: LMAO! His response was extremely frustrating so i went to the manager. His response was even worse. He said that if i got a nail in my tire he would fix it for free. ARE YOU JOKING? I recommended a rolling magnet to clear the nails/screws and you would have thought that this was a foreign topic to him. He said i am not going out there with a magnet. I actually was a repeat customer and he tried to berate me for approaching him while he was with a customer. They are always with a customer and i asked him what was i if not a customer? WILL NOT GO TO (JUST TIRES) IF THEY ARE GIVING THEM AWAY FOR FREE!! They should be called (JUST (OLD NAILS IN YOUR NEW) TIRES). read more

Looks like someone is writing in GREAT REPORTS to help compensate for all the NEGATIVE reports?! I am so frustrated as I write this review & have never written one before but this shop HAS awful customer service and I need to report them! JUST TIRES is DISHONEST at this location in TO & should be brought to your attention for RIP OFF. I went to purchase 4 new tires and felt like I was dealing with a used car salesmen in negotiations. "Clearly these guys work on commission." I spent close to $800 on new tires not even a BRAND name, which I was told $800 would be my final costs out the door. Then AFTER the tires were on and I signed off on them I was told, Oh but now you need to spend another $100.00 for the alignment. Huh?! ! And you forgot to mention this WASN'T included in my price when you were selling me new tires in the FRONT of the conversation?? Knowing darn well you were going to further up-charge me at the end? Of course I know tires need to be aligned and many shops INCLUDE this in a package of 4 new tires! Had I known this I would have gone elsewhere for exactly that deal. What really made me write this POOR REVIEW ON YELP is when I walked around my car (which is a luxury car) I have silver wheels and these guys flipped out my SILVER valve tops for cheap plastic black ones as if I wouldn't have noticed?!!! This further lead to my frustrations, I said to the manager- you better have your guys PUT BACK MY VALVE CAPS NOW!! He just looked at me, did NOT apologize for his crews (OR HIS) obvious bait and switch maneuver. He just said " I will see that they are put back on". No apology no nothing!!! Are you kidding me? You just tried to rip off my valve caps!! Seriously these guys and this manager Robert need to be reported to the HIGHER UPS at JUST TIRES. This showed me how DISHONEST they are to steal silver valve caps right under my nose...What are those costs? $20.00??? Now I am concerned the brand of tires I purchased are not the QUALITY ONES he sold me on. I will get a second opinion in the morning. I brought my truck here for an oil change. The price was low enough that I drove from Ventura. The man running the desk said if I didn't want to wait there they would call me when it was finished, so I left to grab a cup of coffee. After over an hour of not receiving a phone call I walked back and saw that my truck was done. I asked if there were any issues and was told that everything went perfectly. After paying I hopped in and noticed that my window was down, which I found a little odd seeing as how it is parked on a busy street. When I tried to roll the window up there was just a clicking sound and the window would not role up. I'll be the first to admit that mechanical failures happen from time to time, and I am not trying to say there was any sabotage or intentional damage, but the fact that the clerk at the desk failed to mention it to me, especially with rain on the way, was extremely unprofessional and made me extremely irate. It felt like they were hiding it from me, hoping that I would just drive away and not notice it. From now on I will be avoiding this store for any and all maintenance needs. read more

We had been customers at Just Tires for a long time. Sadly, we will no longer buy tires at this store. At one time, Just Tires, as the name indicates, was happy to sell just tires. At our last visit, however, the manager gave us an uncomfortably hard sell, finding all sorts of problems with our car. He followed me out into the parking lot still pushing for us to fix all sorts of problems. Instead, we took the car to our regular mechanic, who found no problems with the vehicle. The experience was so bad that I emailed a complaint to Just Tire's website. The response was late in coming and did not address the hardsell issues. We have since driven farther to Big Brand Tires, where the employees happily sold us only the tires we needed. read more

So, I went to another mechanic today and they told me my caliper did NOT need replacing. Instead they said it was dry and needed to be lubed again. My brake pads were replaced because they were obviously worn out from the dry caliper. I saved $150 by not going with Just Tires' diagnosis. read more

I seriously never ever leave reviews, BUT JOSEPH IS THE BEST!!! I have come into this tire shop 3 times in the last month for various different issues and not only did Joseph and his team fix them every single time.... THEY WERE SO NICE!! They always are smiling, kind, understanding and most important they are helpful!! It is sooo hard to find this level of customer service, and once you find it you become a repeat customer (as I clearly have) their prices are good, THE SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL, the whole team is helpful, and THEY REALLY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! They are honest too, which is super important for a car repair/tire shop. I just moved to the area (so I didn't know who to go to) and I bought a used car (that came with some issues) so these guys just helped me out with everything!! I'm so glad I popped in that first day for them to do a vehicle inspection because then I knew where to go for my tire issue the next week, and the other issues!
