I don't know why nobody comes here. Prices are a lot better then the Tire Man which is located just across the street. Anyways, I needed to replace two of my tires and I had an extra 2 that were just laying around. I wanted to find a place that wasn't going to charge me the price of new tires, so I was told to go to the Tire Man, stated that prices were reasonable and fair. Not in my case. There was an hour wait when I got there. I told them that I just needed my tires remounted and they said that it would take about an hour. I guess I just caught them on their late day rush. Price...$22 a tire (mounting, stem, disposal fee). I guess that was reasonable for the area. I usually get them done free but that's another story. Ready to pay about $44, I was reparking my car when I noticed another tire shop across the street, Just Tires. I decided to take a peek and see how busy they were. Not busy at all. Just one car in the bay. Score! I walked in and asked about their prices...$18.50 a tire and it would take about 30 minutes. Dbl Score! So I got my tires fixed here instead of at Tire Man. They are bout tire shops and they both replace tires. What could go wrong? The staff and crew and Just Tires were a very lively bunch...NOT. They could have cared less if I was there or not. Phil, the asst manager was a nice kat but no personality at all. That included the store manager and crew staff as well. That's fine...I just needed my tires replaced. As promised, the crew of 4 finished within the promised time. Tires replaced, balanced and rotated as promise. I paid the $37 that was due, smiled, and left. Job well done. I really can't say that things would have been different if they were as busy as Tire Man or vice versa. Granted no people skills, but I'm happy with the price. read more

Came here with a flat and wanted them to fix it. They looked at my tires and said that they will not fix it because i need new tires (they claimed that my tires were bad). Since it was Sunday and every one else was closed I was leaning towards letting them do so I asked for the price and they said that they can give me a deal for $186 per tire (I have a 20" tire) I said it was ridicules and that it was too pricey. At that point they started having a very condescending attitude and said that I cannot find this anywhere for a cheaper price, needless to say that they would not fix my flat and sent me on my way driving on a flat tire. I called "Tires buy Mark" on Topanga (In Canoga Park), they quoted me $110 per tire. I carefully drove to the valley (stopped at 2 gas stations to fill up air) had Mark change my tires in 20 minutes and promised my self, never to step foot in "Just tires". I didn't have an appointment for an oil change, so I walked in. Instantly greeted by Brandon Bairian. I am Deaf and typically people are thrown off by that, but Brandon was patient and communicated clearly to me. I was informed it would be finished in an hour and during that hour, Brandon checked on me and kept me updated on how long it would take. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and willingness to keep me in the loop. Brandon took a step further and provided me a list of things he suggested for me to fix on my car. Friday night at 7 o'clock, as my husband and six year old child were driving back from vacation, the low tire pressure signal in my car went off. By the time we got to Just Tires, the tire was flat - it was 7:30 and a half hour from closing time. We were exhausted from hours on the road, and we soon discovered that not one but two tires were flat (more on this, later). Scott, the manager, stayed late to help us, even though he had a family event that night. We were totally impressed with how helpful he was, and how professional. But wait, there's more! The reason the tire went flat was that they had not been rotated and the car had not been aligned, even though I had it serviced regularly at Bob Smith BMW. That's why my fairly new tires wore out well before they should have. I don't want to think about what might have happened if we'd had a blow out on one of the windy mountain roads we'd been on earlier! We were so impressed by Scott's level of professionalism and knowledge, and appreciative that he went above-and-beyond to help us on a Friday night, staying way past work hours were over. My husband took the car back the next day and it was completely out of alignment, plus there were other issues that we addressed. Bottom line, Bob Smith BMW has just lost a customer and Just Tires (which does more than just tires, by the way) has gained a customer. read more

OK so my wife wanted to do something nice for us and went to this place for an oil change. Everything seemed to be fine until the manager Robert Schmied told her along with a list of other things that are car does not actually need, that we should definitely check the power steering fluid and make sure the power steering pump is working properly. This is very interesting to me because our car does not have power steering, and he told my wife that all cars have power steering of some kind. This was obviously a scam and a ploy to try to get more service from us. I went in after the fact to try to confront somebody about this issue, only to find out from one of the employees whose name is Joe that Robert is actually the manager! I couldn't believe it I was going to tell the manager that Robert shouldn't be giving advice to anybody because he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. My only hope at this point is that other people will read this review and not go to this particular just tires store because they are obviously trying to scam people. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If any of the rest of you out there have any other complaints you should go to the Better Business Bureau because the more complaints they get the more attention they have to pay to it. I am also going to corporate and letting them know that I am going to the Better Business Bureau with this. I hope this was helpful. read more

It WAS a great place. I've been a return customer for 2 sets of tires/8 years. I received speedy service, competitive prices what have you... Today they killed me! I went in for a puncture repair and a rotation. I left with a stripped lug screw and a torn bead on the tire that they attempted to patch. I drove home on my spare with 5 of 6 lugnuts screwed on. I was peeved but not rude. -Not a single apology nor any fault admitted by their manager. They didn't even try to keep me as a customer. Lame. read more

About a month ago a nail (more like a bolt) found its way on the grooves of my front left tire. It was a Saturday during the heat wave period we had in early July with temperature well in the high 90s-100. I felt something weird with the tire and planned on checking it once I arrive at my destination. Since it was a new car, I wasn't aware of where to find the tire icon (it's tucked all the way in the far right side of the dashboard) and I wanted to keep my eyes on the road. Obviously if I have to do this whole ordeal again, I will call AAA to let them come and replace the tire. Not that day though; it was way too hot and I really didn't want to punish another person by having them replace the tire in that heat! My car was packed with stuff for my kid's birthday; it was a nightmare to even consider changing the donut! So I decided to drive another four miles to go to Tireman on TO Blvd. As soon as I arrived there I realized that it was closed. I found another nearby tire shop on Google Maps which stated it was open. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot of the second shop, a gentleman approached me to let me know that he closed the shop early and sent his workers home due to the weather/low traffic. He also commented that my tire at this point was (toast) useless because of the heat ring from driving on it! I then went to "Just Tires" a couple of blocks away and I was so pleased! Joseph came out and inspected the car and tire. An hour passed while waiting inside their AC'd office drinking their cold water and watching TV, Joseph gave me back the keys and only charged me $20. He confirmed that despite driving on a partially deflated tire, it was still good and he guaranteed it as a new one (which it was!). Fast forward to a month later of five days a week x 86 miles in addition to another 600+ miles road trip, I'm glad to state that Joseph was absolutely correct. I give Just Tires my highest recommendation and I command Joseph for his honesty and expertise. Thank you! read more

I'm so disappointed and infuriated with this place. If I was able to give a half star I would. My girlfriend had a nail in her tire and ya two kids so I took it upon my self to bring the car to them on Monday since Christmas was in two days she was stressed. When I took it to them they put my car on the lift and told me it couldn't be prepared with in 15 min so I was very impressed on the quickness and professionalism of handling time. Tony was working the front desk and Paul was the gentleman talking to me about the tire. Paul told me he could not patch it and it would be a new tire but luckily I only need one being the car only has 3,000 miles on it being brand new. I asked him to put the order in for the tire and he told me it would be Thursday to get it fixed and I agreed. So the day after Christmas being Thursday. I call them to confirm that my order is in before I driver to the shop and they proceed to answer and say hold and put me on a waiting list...... for 57 min!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally hung up and drove there to ask a simple question. When I get there I waited 30 min to be talked to, which is fine because there was three customers ahead of me. Tony is again at the front desk. I ask him about my tire and he asked "who helped you that day". I told him Paul did..... he then says "Paul?????" Like he didn't know who it was so I describe him and he says "ohhhhh yeah Paul!" He then informs me know order was ever placed. As I'm trying to figure this out he then say he's the manager when I asked to speak to a manger and said he can not stand "Paul". Then Tony slips up and says Paul in the manager in trading and knows nothing of what he's doing and also proceeds to pick the phone up and start helping another customer. I finally left to call other places and told tony to put the tire in for order but I won't promise him my buisness because if I can get it fixed today somewhere I will do that since now I have to wait till Sunday for 1 TIRE. After I was gone for two hours I drove back by the shop to get a written estimate so I could get guaranteed my price and Tony said he can't give me a price until they do the work!!!! He also said it's a mechanic thing you wouldn't get it!!!! How is this place even opened or how does this guy have a job!!!!! Seriously worse service I have ever received. I do a lot for the city of Thousand Oaks and trust me when I say I will make sure people of Thousand Oaks know not go here. Just awful awful service. I came here to get my tire repaired from a blade that had cut into it and they said the damage was to severe and I'd have to purchase a new tire. They didn't inspect it. Didn't check to see how deep it was. The size of the damage internally. Nothing. I went to American Tire Depot also on thousand oaks. They actually checked my tire and it was in fact repairable. I have been going to Just Tires for several years now, with multiple cars, and will not be going there again. The last two times I have had the oil changed, they have put too much oil in the car. So much so, that it was throwing a check engine light/code. Things happen, people aren't perfect, no problem. What is upsetting, is the way the manager Benjamin handled things this last Saturday. I came in and explained the problem. Benjamin went out there to look at the dipstick which was clearly showing at least 1/3 of an inch over the top mark, with the car hot. He brushes it off saying that it is maybe a half a quart over. I then tell him that with the car cold it is a half an inch or more over the top mark and show him a picture from my phone. He then just starts smiling at me like what I have said is the funniest thing he has ever heard. I ask him what I said that is so funny? He then says that the oil level would be the same whether the engine is cold or hot. He says that the hot oil gets back down into the pan instantly and there would be no level difference between a hot engine that has just been running, and a cold engine that has been sitting over night. This is simply not true which I explained to him. Bottom line is the oil level is high, Benjamin sees it is high and still wants to brush it off as no big deal. He then wants to stand out in the hot parking lot and argue about the degree in which they have screwed up. It doesn't matter Ben. The oil is too high, a check engine light/code is thrown, it's not good for the car, and the car needs to be fixed. Is this where we are these days with customer service? They bring the car in and no sooner than one hour later, has the issue has been fixed. No apology, no real acknowledgement of an issue, nothing. The next morning, I go out to the garage and have a three foot long oil slick under the car. I take it back in and was told they tightened the drain plug. If the manager would have been decent, even this wouldn't have been a deal breaker. One bad apple ruined it for the company. Will be contacting corporate as well. read more

Recently they are under new management, and I came in late to have my tire looked at because I hit a curb (that came out of nowhere) and heard what I thought was a tire popping. I've been to this shop three different times due to a low tire pressure warning light. The first two times there was a nail or screw in the tire which caused a leak. Just Tires fixed the problem for a small fee and I was on my way. The third time the low pressure light came on I went back to Just Tires. Just Tires checked all four tires and found nothing wrong with any of the tires except low air pressure. Air was added and there was no charge! The shop was extremely clean, there was a waiting area outside. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I'll definitely buy my next set of tires from Just Tires! read more

This place used to be good for tires and oil changes before they changed management and now they are just total scam artists. They recommend services for your car before even looking at the vehicle and more importantly, they don't do their job. I had my car serviced there in August and they did a full inspection and they said everything was fine. For my next oil change a few months later they told me I needed brake pads and rotors. When I asked about the last inspection that said my brakes were fine, they had no explanation. What's the point of a full inspection if it can't even catch low brake pads. Any idiot knows that brake pads and rotors don't go completely in a few months. Don't go there! They lie and don't do their job. read more
