They don't advertise the pricing shown online. It says buy 3 get one free. They don't honor it.

Service: 5 Facility: 5, Products: TBD…read more Our group of 5 came to try out making pottery during the Valentine's Day promotion, which is now sold out. Rakhi and her staff, including Maya and Karis, were fantastic. Our ability to follow directions and create the initial form varied among our group, and some had to restart from the beginning more than once. Maya was very patient with us and adjusted how much she assisted by each person's ability. Knowing we were first timers, the staff were very encouraging and helpful as we selected our shapes and attempted to create them. They also helped us personalize each piece with additional designs, and we're very excited to see how everything turns out. There are two parts to this class, creating a piece for baking and in a few weeks we'll return to paint and glaze the pieces so they're food safe. I think we're going to take a longer course the next time!

I attended a Valentine's Day event last month with The ATX Dog Mom Social Club at The Spinning…read moreWheel. There was confusion over pricing and timing. The event post noted one price and when we got to the event, we were told it would cost extra to glaze the bowl which was a necessary step make the clay piece food-safe. We were making dog bowls so of course we wanted them to be food-safe but it was a bummer that we would have to pay an additional fee on top of what we had already paid. I was charged more than others in my group! We were instructed to make our bowls outside on the picnic tables which weren't flat surfaces. The event poster also stated that we could shape our clay by hand or use the spinning wheel. The spinning wheels weren't even offered to us. Overall, I attended this event to make new friends and create something nice for my dog. I accomplished both so that was a win! While I most likely won't come back, this business is a fun concept that is great for groups of young children and I even saw a mother bring in her young daughter with her to glaze pottery together which was so sweet but the pricing and timing to pick up your artwork could be clearer. Also parking is very limited so park next door at the gymnasium.

My grandbaby had so much fun building the bear, doing the heart ceremony, and then putting the shirt on the bear! One thing that was a huge disappointment to us was, we couldn't put the name on the birth certificate with the computer, and it used to be that if you scanned the barcode, the info for the bear came up on the screen, but now, all you can do is print a birth certificate, and then write on it. Nothing fun about that. You can't scan the barcode, and they took the keyboards away. The computers don't even talk anymore. That was half the fun, but the company is further cheapening the experience. We like this particular location because it hasn't been updated to be overly bright and overheated, it's nostalgic, but not being able to do the birth certificate took away from the experience. That was a very poor decision that the company made. It's too bad that that poor decision is going to affect this store in a very negative way, for something they have no control over. The employees in the store were awesome though. Any negativity comes from a company-wide decision, not something that the store did.

My son is into pokemon so he wanted the Sylveon. They had a sign for flareon for "buy 1 get it for 15". There was no jolteon anywhere on the shelves, so I went up to the front desk to ask if jolteon was also included. Front desk woman said she needed to check, then scanned the jolteon and clearly said "yes this is also 15" so we ended up taking both sylveon and jolteon. Staff through the whole shop was friendly while building the bear. No negative things to say here. Once we got to payment though, a different woman was checking us out and charged us the full amount for the jolteon. I mentioned that the earlier woman had told me it was $15 to add on, but she just stated that i was misinformed. Her coworker literally 20 minutes ago told me it was $15 for the jolteon to add on. At this point I decided to just get the sylveon, but obviously after we've gone through all of the building and naming part my son wants jolteon too. This store lied to me to get you to buy more stuff by telling me the wrong price then charged me full price. It was a frustrating experience as we wouldn't have even built the Jolteon if they hadnt lied to us. I can confidently say I wont be coming back here. Be careful of purchasing anything here. I think the most frustrating part of this experience was the woman working the front did NOT apologize for their mistake. They literally just kept telling me I'm misinformed as if I was lying.
