Not only did the installer ruin our kitchen countertops (scraped and ruined lower kitchen cabinetry and front door while delivering and installing)...wouldn't listen to what we said about the measurements...they said it would fit...and crammed the pos in there!!! But now the fridge/water dispenser has stopped working- they charge $64.75 to even come out to repair despite the warranty so-called coverage!!! We either have the choice of hauling it up there(not even .2 miles away moved in PADDOCK BEND) and ruining our cabinetry and door panel even further-OR paying $65 bucks to have them come out and look and they said it might not be fixable!!!! I would not recommend ever using this company . There appears to be a great deal of incompetence from the top down, as the owner (Mitch) does not run the show rather has a loose cannon named David calling the shots. You company obviously engages in bad business, tries to get more money from potential customers than you initially quote, lies about the cost of repairs in order to sell customer appliances they don't need. I only needed the lines to 3 burners replaced and when I priced the parts with Sears, they were only $45. I am so disappointed with the service I received so far. I was given the run around on a warranty replacement for my dishwasher. It took 3 months before I literally walked in and picked one out. I then scheduled for delivery for Saturday 2-4. At 3:45 I called to make sure they were still in route when I was told they couldn't find my paper work. My 82 year old, blind mother who is on a fixed income bought a washer from them over the phone and was NOT told that the warranty would only be valid if she had the original HAND WRITTEN receipt. The staff was friendly and applied no "sales pressure" not only were their prices reasonable but their delivery rates were fair as well. To top it off they held on to my purchase for 3 weeks while I waited to move into my new home. This is the worst place to buy used appliances. Delivery of my appliances was 4 hours late. They did not call to let me know it was running 4 hours . My dryer broke down the second day. I called them and they said they would pick it up for repairs on Thursday between 2 to 5pm. I took off work early half a day so I could be there. At 5.30pm no one came. I called them and they said they were running behind and would pick it up Friday 10 am to 2pm. On Friday tat 2.30pm they called me up and said it I would have to pay $75.00 for pick up service before they would head to my house. I asked them why did they not tell me this when i called the first time. Anyway I called the office and gave them my credit card number. After waiting a couple more hours they finally came and pick it up. 4 days later they said it was fixed and ready to schedule a delivery date and time. we agreed on deliver for Wednesday 2 to 5pm. Once again I took off work half a day for delivery. I waited and waited. At .30 pm I texted the office to find out why it was has not been delivered. They said they would deliver it Thursday 10 am to 2 pm instead. This happened to the Refrigerator I purchase from them also. They will not keep an appointment and will not call and give explanations. I bought a refrigerator from them for a rental house. I bought it because I thought it was reasonably priced and also it came with a 3 full year warranty. I thought, "Great". After a year, Ref. broke down,not working at all. I called them and gave them a copy of the receipt, and was told they would call. 2 weeks later, no phone call, so I called them and they gave me several excuses, after 1 wk, still no phone call. Good thing my renter is using this as a second ref. so he said no worry. After 2 months my renter asked me if I could replace this ref that I bought from Justified Appliance. I called them again for repair to give them a second chance and I told them I am giving them a second chance to fulfill their 3 year warranty advertisement. They said I will be top priority, I called them a wk after that phone call, same thing a lot of excuses why they have not sent anybody yet for repair. Lesson learned: If you are going to buy from them prices can be reasonable, but PRAY that it last longer than your anticipated length of use. 9/10/2018 The absolute worst. We've been battling with these people since May. We purchased a refrigerator from them back at the end of May, and from about the first week after we bought it we had issues with it over and over again. Their customer service after we had issues with the unit was horrible. Sometimes they wouldn't get out to "fix" the unit until a week or so later. This of course means that we lost food every time. Costing us hundreds of dollars every time the fridge went out. In total it went out about 10 times. So after dealing with this about once every week or 2 weeks we went up there and asked for a replacement. They were pretty reasonable there and we picked out a comparable fridge from what they had available. That was swapped out, and a week later the same thing happened with the 2nd fridge. So at this point we are obviously frustrated and are losing food again. They come out to "fix" this one and a week after they "fix" it the fridge breaks a 2nd time. Now this is the 2nd fridge breaking for the 2nd time. So we have asked for a refund and are told they have a no refund policy. Obviously that's because they sell broken down refrigerators to begin with. So now we have a 3rd fridge to replace the fridge again. Personally I don't have much faith that it's going to be any better. The previous owners that ran this shop did a fine job and that is why we went there in the first place. Since the change in ownership and employees, it just isn't what it used to be. They obviously don't have a very good quality control check before they go off and sell the units. And because they have units breaking everywhere they never have time to get to you in a timely manner so we can have a working fridge. Very frustrating! I will never purchase from them again. This has been a nightmare of an experience. Update 9/21/2018 I wish to make it clear that in the end so far the current fridge which is fridge #3 from them has been working so far. Although we are currently only about a week in. The stress we went through and frustration from the previous 2 units I would say makes it not worth it. I've had my fridge/freezer for 1 year and 3 months. Friday morning it wasn't freezing so I called for service (actually via text message, be sure to save your original receipt!) and got a response in just a few minutes. Service guy was at my house within 25 minutes. Although warranty work is "free" there is a $70 trip charge (even if you're 10 min away - in response to the guy who thought he was being charged b/c his physical address was different from his billing address). Tech troubleshot until he found a circuit board was bad. He replaced it immediately and even cleaned up after himself (freezer iced up so there was a lot of water). Warranty work is good for 90 days. Although I had to pay $70, I was glad to have my fridge back, good as new - so quickly! Guy was courteous and professional and even followed up a few days later to ensure everything was working correctly! read more

I have used them 18 years, and have recommended them to friends and family. One occasion about 4 years ago, my Hispanic housekeeper told me that her clothes washer was broken. My adult daughter went to discuss this with our friends at Justifed and they were so compassionate. They sold her a nice washer for a discounted price. We were able to load it on her truck. She loves the washer. TY Justified. We have done business with them at least 10 times. The other day I was on the phone when I walked in, but the service gentleman was patient until I got off the phone. They are attentive, fair and are not like the sour grapes of these other reviews. I bought a Kenmore washer from Justified Appliance 8/18/2018. When delivered, it didn't work. After many calls, the technician, Eli came, picked up the not-working washer and left me with a loaner (Smaller than the one I bought). After more than a month, I called again asking when will I have my washer back? Not until 2 weeks later and more calls, they finally delivered the washer. The only issue here was it is a Whirlpool, not Kenmore. I told Eli I don't care as long as it works since they offer "3 years parts and labor warranty". Unfortunately the washer stopped working in April 2019. When I called and told Lorenzo about the problem with the washer, he told me that I have to pay them $70.30 trip charge before they will come to pick up the washer and bring it back to the shop to fix it. Now I realize how these people are making money. After selling a refurbished from defective machine, they will charge you $70.30 every single time you have problem with the it before they fix and there is no warranty how long the machine runs until it stop again? In my case, after paid them $70.30, a man came to pick up the washer to bring it back to their shop and in hour later Lorenzo called me back told me this was not the same washer compared to the receipt. I told him what happened but he kept saying this was not the same washer and refused to fix my washer. I called Eli, the technician to tell him what's happening and asked for his help. He informed me that he had quit working at Justified Appliances a few months ago because he disagreed with the way they running their business and making him taking for heat from the customers. He called me back and told me that he spoke to Lorenzo and remind Lorenzo of the situation. Lorenzo told Eli to block my number. Since then, he kept promise to call me back every time I called but never call. I found out the truth from one of their employees about my washer: they sold my Kenmore washer to someone else. That's why they delivered me the Whirlpool instead of the Kenmore. Besides doing shady business like this, they asked me to pay them cash instead of credit card so I can save money on sale tax. We all know that if they are asking one person to this, that means they are doing the same to other customers too. This is how they avoid pay taxes. They also pay all the people who are working there cash only under the table. No-one is on payroll at Justified Appliance. That's federal tax invasion with IRS!!! I called the owner Mitch Justice. He asked who am I, when I started to tell him what happened, he hung up the phone. I am writing this so everyone can read and know what's going on. Justified Appliances is ripping off the poor people. We thought we could save some money when buy a used or refurbished appliance from them. The reality is we will end up paying them even more on the long run with $70.30 trip charge every time the machine stop working and having to deal with frustration of machine keeps break down and left with no appliance for days... I'm filing lawsuit against the owner Mitch Justice and his business, Justified Appliances at Harris County courthouse beside reporting them with the IRS of their tax invasion and channel 2 with Dominique Sache so they can visit them one day to do report about the shady local business practice. I purchased a washer, dryer and fridge in July. Everything has been great until Dec/Jan when the washer started messing up. It sounds like an unbalanced load no matter what we do. I spent 3 months trying to contact "the tech" that they refer you to. When I finally did get ahold of him he said "yeah sorry, this is my second job and I only answer the phone/text when I'm available." Only to be met later with "call me back in 5 minuets." Horrible customer service! I spent $900 on appliance and washer broke. I spoke with rep to have washer picked up and was required to pay a trip charge of $70. Paid the fee. I was advised that I should expect the repair to be completed 2-3 business days. A week went by and no updates from the company. Called to determine the issue as was advised that it will be complete within 2-3 business days. That was a lie. Technician was out ill and never received an update regarding repair. Called back and was advise that there were no certainty on when the washer will be repaired. At this moment I requested refund on trip charge and manager would follow up. After a few days, refund was finally given. It's now 3 weeks in and no new updates regarding the repair. Upon call rep advise that there were 5 other repairs ahead of me and there should be an update on Monday or Tuesday. I asked the rep was it possible to pick up once completed and she then advised that repair will not be made until trip charge was paid. While speaking with rep I requested to speak to manager and was advised that I was on her bad side and she would not be able to offer me any assistance. WOW! So confused at this point as I've been given the run around regarding my repair. Horrible customer service!!! Bought a frig on 11/15. When they delivered they somehow messed up the water line/gasket on frig. They had to come out the next day to replace it along with a latch for French door on frig that they cracked when delivering. Not even a week later (day before Thanksgiving) it stopped cooling & freezer started thawing. Luckily I still had a small frig to put somethings in for Thanksgiving. I called them & they said I would have to text the warranty repair guy. Oh ok... Thought that was a bit odd but I did it. No response. So I call the store back. He said he could come out Monday. By then we would have been 6 days without a frig!! Monday comes around & no call, no repair man. So I call the office... Guy (who happens to be the owner) says he will come right out. Doesn't find anything wrong with frig. Says to keep him updated & ice maker should start to work since he adjusted water pressure. Mitch-the owner, instructed me to contact him directly through website if anything else goes wrong. So, 2 days later, when ice maker still isn't working & water is running out of door, I contact him through website like he instructed. No response! I call & leave several messages... No response!! Finally on a Friday, I speak to Chris (repair guy) who says he will leave a message for someone... Still never get a call back! Call on Monday, Chris answered & said he would be right out. He doesn't know how to fix it... Says he will go back & brainstorm with Mitch & call me back. Never hear back... I call again 2x's!! They schedule a tech to come out Mon at 10... Never showed! I call office, they act like they have no clue & never apologize for the inconvenience! He takes my name & number & says he will call me back... Over 3 hours pass. My husband finally just decided to go to the store. They were so rude to him & threatened to throw him out of the store!!! Won't give $$ back... Refuse to make this one work!! Said we would just have to sue them.... Never purchase from this store!!! Very poor business ethic! I was very patient & kind but enough is enough, especially when you feel you are being taken advantage of. BBB will definitely be hearing from us! read more

This is an update to a previous post. Today, 7/25/13, I called Justified and the manager was very courteous, verified he had my information and advised that my range would be picked up and a temporary replacement installed while mine is being repaired. He advised that the repair may be a electronic control board and/or a burner. The stove was picked up and delivered as promised and consistent with what I was told on my first call. Now, let see how long the repair takes. The part can be ordered and received in three days using regular mail from Sears on-line parts distribution. read more

We bought a refrigerator from this Company, and it just never worked right.We called immediately since there was warrantee on the merchandise. However, the owner/manager insisted we pay $70 trip fee for someone to come out and check.We did. They missed an appointment, never called, never apologized. Then a dispatcher came after 3 days wait,checked and said he was coming back. He never returned.Several calls, still no help.We ended up placing the refrigerator in our garage, and just decided to just buy another one.All I can say is its not worth going through the stress.
