Haircut and highlights by Juut. Style by yours truly spreading holiday cheer. Because your personality isn't the first thing people see.

Sometimes you meet people who change you for the better. These people are called magical stylists. Juut employs a slew of unicorn stylists. If I had to spend hours anywhere, it would be here so I get to be pampered and leave feeling drop dead gorgeous. After losing two stylists to Dallas and one bad experience, I was on the hunt for someone to manage my crown. I'm SOLD. Forever customer for life! Nice to see a salon still taking Covid precautions. Stations are spaciously spaced apart, staff wearing masks diligently, and business being health conscience. I felt at ease coming in for services. One of the nicest things I noticed is that all their marketing features actual clients as pieces of art scattered throughout the salons. Love love love. Can't say enough. My stylist is aahhmazing!!! I love love love her. She is my secret and such a style icon herself. Wonderful master with the scissors and perfectionist on the color. I also noticed the other stylists are just as experienced and talented so you won't fail with any of them. Front staff is friendly and personable. They offer texting for appointment set up and ease. Prices are reasonable and in line especially for Scottsdale. Parking is easy and always welcoming calm when you sit in the lobby waiting. They carry Aveda and everything smells heavenly. Definitely do the Aveda membership because it's worth it for the products. The most beautiful things in life are not things. They are people, places, memories, and pictures. It's about the moments and smiles. And yes, that means having killer hair in those pictures

I've been seeing Tatum for over three years, and my hair has never been in better condition. I love being blonde, but my hair is extremely thin and fine, so bleaching it in the past has caused a lot of damage. Tatum, however, has always prioritized the health of my hair, ensuring it's protected throughout the process. Unlike other stylists who have damaged my hair with bleaching, Tatum has kept my hair thick, healthy, and the perfect shade of blonde I've always wanted. I wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone. When she suggests Aveda products, trust her--they've made a world of difference in my hair. Tatum is truly an expert, and it's no surprise she's a two-time master-level hair colorist!

Amazing cut and color by Kayli L. in Scottsdale!

I soooo look forward to my salon days! Since finding Kayli L. in 2021, I have found my stylist! I followed her from another Aveda salon to Juut, a bit further away but I will make the drive every time for her. From the moment you sit in her chair until you leave, she takes amazing care of you. The added touches starting with a neck and shoulder massage to help relax to the hand massage while I wait for the toner, really makes me feel fantastic. Her cut and color techniques work wonders on my thick, coarse hair. Her suggestions are on point, I listen when she says I need layers! She delivers a style that works for my lifestyle and has shown me time saving tips to keep my hair healthy and looking the best between visits. You will love Kayli!

Loved my experience with Amanda! She was friendly, professional, and I love my haircut. I was also so happy with the COVID precautions that were taken!

This past Saturday was my first time at a Juut Salon. I called about a week or so beforehand to make my appointment and I booked with Kaitlin. Upon arrival I filled out a waiver, had my temperature taken, used some hand sanitizer and sat well over 6 feet away from the other clients while I waited. Shortly after signing in, Kaitlin brought me to her station where I showed her some images of what I wanted for my hair. I wanted to be blonde without all of the upkeep and she nailed it. Seriously, she did a fantastic job, exceeding my expectations, and was such a delight to talk to. Will definitely be booking with her again and would recommend her to other people as well!

My Aveda product bag, they have a full selection!

I came in for a 1 hour massage and added on the foot scrub. It was a full body massage that ended with a scalp massage. Marie was my masseuse and I highly recommend her. She was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure I was in maximum comfort. The aromas are perfectly applied and not overwhelming. I loved the eucalyptus towards the end of the massage and my feet felt baby soft and clean after the foot scrub. The amenities are fabulous. The lavender meditation room is under rated. The aroma is subtle and fresh, cool temperature and dim lighting. Feels calm and not many people use it. A nice place to reset and calm your mind. First the welcome, far from welcoming, the attendant made it very clear the Quiet Area lounge is actually not for lounging but for waiting on your treatment, do NOT linger in the area, wait I thought it was a lounge area?! So no place to just lay and read unless you are ok with sitting outside around the pool all day, I am not. All spas I have ever been have had a quiet lounge area that we were allowed to lounge in, not told to not be in too long?! Second, suits are not an option they are required which is not normal at any upscale spa I have ever been, and I did check others in the area and they are not that way either, nothing like sitting in the scent room with a wet suit on, ick!!! I decided to get some coffee and snacks from the spa food area and it was so visibly dirty I did not bother, see photos below. They have two bikes used to blend drinks occasionally and I looked in the blenders, disgusting dirty and if they are not cleaning the areas we can see what else are they not cleaning?! The lady that did my husband's treatment did not have the correct treatment prepared and had to leave the room to get prepared that of course took up time for his massage. This was our daughter's first high end spa experience and what a dissapointment. This used to be our go to spa, we told everyone about, no longer we are so disappointed. For the astronomical price we paid for three massages and a body treatment it should have been much better, like it use to be actually. I guess my daughter's second spa experience, somewhere else of course, can only get better from this experience.

The highlight of my visit was the massage. My therapist was phenomenal, she listened to my concerns, focused on the areas I needed most, and made me feel completely relaxed. I also appreciated the adjustable massage table, which made a huge difference since I have lower back pain. It was one of the most comfortable massage experiences I've had. I also enjoyed the complimentary champagne, delicious food, and excellent service at the rooftop pool. The attendants were incredibly attentive, and the drinks were very good. My only minor complaint about the rooftop pool is that it doesn't really have a view. My biggest disappointment was the sauna and steam room. Neither one got hot enough to be enjoyable. I spent over 30 minutes in the steam room without even getting warm or breaking a sweat, and the sauna wasn't much better. For a luxury spa, I expected these amenities to perform much better. Overall, I had a wonderful experience thanks to the outstanding staff and exceptional massage. If the sauna and steam room were properly heated, this would easily be a five-star spa.

So today we booked it as part of a birthday and Mother's Day weekend celebration. When our technician called out, staff member Madison called us at 9:02 AM and offered to upgrade my pedicure into a massage at no extra charge since our technician called in sick. I told her my husband won't go to the pedicure alone and asked how much do we need to pay for him if we also upgrade his service into a massage? Madison proceeded to place me on hold and came back and said don't worry about the upgrade for Mr. Fish and I got immediately excited and so happy and thanked her , told her will be there by 10 AM.. Upon arrival, we were handed a bill for $635 a Kimberly checked us in. I said I spoke to a Madison and she was next to her and confirmed to Kimberly at the front that our price was $240 total based on our earlier conversation She even told me Kimberly that we are getting upgraded to 2 Artisan massages. We went ahead with our massages trusting it was resolved. We had the best time and enjoyed as normal and ended up leaving around 4PM. At checkout, my husband went downstairs and Madison is now presenting him with the $635 bill!!! Of course like anyone in his position he would be shocked! Like what?!!!! He felt like he was having an out of body experience!! Madison's explanation, and I quote " I misspoke"claimed she misspoke and gave my husband the $635 bill telling my husband that her manager Jed told her while we were getting our massages that what she was told by her manager Jed that they can longer provide what was promised to me on the phone and at checkout. This was going while I was still upstairs, and saw my husband upset. I asked what's going on and he said don't worry about it I will handle this, he said it's your birthday and I am not letting them spoil your day . When confronted, Madison denied ever offering the upgrade in front of her manager when my husband said that's what she said. My husband did not even want me in this conversation because it was birthday/Mother's Day weekend and he did not want to spoil my day.. . What was meant to be a special weekend turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We loved the massages but left feeling disappointed by Madison. I have to say Madison has been so pleasant and super friendly every time we were there, to get this treatment from her, this really hurt me especially on my day and so unexpected. The manager Jed in my opinion did not handle this right. He should have asked Kimberly listened to the call that was made. I don't know but this was handled very poorly in my opinion. Madison had so many chances to make this right but chose not to. What was offered in good faith was taken back without accountability. We hope management reviews the 9:02 AM call recording, because that will tell the whole story or even speak to Kimberly that Madison corrected when we checked in. This is making me feel like I can't trust this company. Moving forward I want to record conversations or make sure I have proof or something because their word is not to be trusted. This leaves my amazing birthday/Mother's Day weekend ending in a bad note because of this.

The service begins the moment you arrive. The host actually ran to open the door for us before checking us in, which immediately set the tone. Christina checked us in and was incredibly service oriented. Since the regular tour guide wasn't available, she took the time to personally show us around the property, which was above and beyond. The remodel is absolutely beautiful and was done right. My only hope is that they maintain it over the years because it's a stunning facility. One thing I especially appreciated was the number of shared spaces. My partner and I actually enjoy spending time together at the spa, so I always look for spas that offer common co-ed areas, and this one has several. They also have a gorgeous women's-only pool with an incredible view, in addition to shared amenities. There were so many amenities that I didn't even have time to experience all of them. The staff genuinely seems happy to be there, and it shows. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. For my treatment, I had Kristin. I almost hesitate to mention her because I don't want everyone booking her and making it harder for me to get an appointment but she was absolutely phenomenal. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep during my service, which almost never happens. I sincerely hope they continue maintaining this level of service because they have something really special.

Overall a good massage but I had to ask her twice to decrease the pressure and she also didn't put an eye mask on me when I flipped onto my back, which was awkward. It was also freezing in the room and although she said she put it on warm, it never warmed up. I was ok on the warm table, but when I got up afterwards, it was still as freezing as when I got in. They recently did a renovation and the women's shower area is really nice with big individual frosted glass showers with a dry area in front of the shower so that your things don't get wet. Prior to our massages, we enjoyed the co-ed pool area which is for spa guests only, 18+. This was a relaxing area with several water features with different pressures that you could stand under. They also had two small pools to the left which was a cold plunge and a hot plunge (no jets). The views of the mountains were so relaxing and the waiter Daniel was highly available for you to order food and drinks if wanted. Then I went to the women's only area to shower. They offer the most amazing smelling salt scrub (complementary) that makes your skin so soft. Don't forget to grab a bowl! The attendants in the women's area were so helpful. In this area was also a steam room, sauna and an area to dump a bucket of cold water on yourself. They also had 3 heated beds that you can lay on for 10 minutes before your treatment. After the massage, you go in a co-ed sanctuary and lay on a bed with a weighted blanket with noise canceling headphones for 25 minutes. This bed also vibrates to the sounds you choose. One side of my headphones wasn't working unfortunately. After, this led into a co-ed lounge. The hot water maker was already put away (at 5:06pm when they close at 6pm) so I couldn't make myself a cup of tea afterwards - especially when I still felt freezing, which was really disappointing. I expected more for $295 - better snacks and tea available until closing time. I don't think that is a lot to ask for. With so many spas in the area, if ever back in Scottsdale, we don't plan to return.

I really wanted to do the Hammam ritual here so I saved up for a long time. I enjoyed it and felt…read moregreat when it was done but I feel like it wasn't thoughtfully crafted and probably only worth about half of what they charged. The first part is to go into what they call a private warming Hammam room, but the warming room is actually not private and is open to everyone using the sauna. There is a private treatment room, and I think this is really what you are paying a small fortune for--to lie down on a 200-year-old authentic Cherrywood Hammam table for an exfoliation scrub. The table itself is beautiful but not very comfortable--it's high up, so hard to get onto, and--like all wood tables--is very hard. Next you are supposed to go through a self-guided journey through the steam, sauna, whirlpool, warming room again, and cold deluge. They have a recommended circuit but there is no way to actually follow the times on it because you only have 25 minutes (and it took me 5 to get my swimsuit back on). I think I was expecting to be able to spend this time focusing on the experience, but it felt more like I was rushing through the steps in time while hanging out in the spa with everyone else, trying to run through all of the steps in time. Finally, the website says this ends with a massage with CBD or arnica oil. This is in a separate room and on a regular and more comfortable table. Mine was just a regular massage, no oils, though I got to choose between lavender and eucalyptus scents. They do have fun add-ons, like shea butter or cupping or hot stones, but those don't add additional time, so you're paying extra to have a massage take less time so they can add on the other thing you paid for. But if you go during your birthday month you get a free add-on. Anyway, my massage therapist was really good but not $580 good.(I don't know if anyone could be!) There are a lot of spas hat are supposed to be for intentional purposes--like a place to put a rock selected for its qualities, or you can put your hand on an enormous crystal imported from Brazil. But they kind of rush you through this part and it doesn't really seem to be designed with care. For example, there is a fountain outside to put the rock that you see before you even receive a rock. It's not clear that you're supposed to pick it up on the way out. There is no clock in the room where you wait for your appointment. The hooks to hang your robe or towel are and there aren't enough hooks for the number of people. Etc. Overall I think $580 is way overpriced for what is offered, which is basically a scrub and massage and the same spa amenities as everyone else. I was also disappointed by the snack selection--they just had trail mix and dried mangos. I guess I am spoiled because I've been to Aji Spa, which has the most amazing selection of snacks and you can get a wrap and massage for roughly half the price. And it's really somewhere you want to hang out at all day. The food menu on the website is also out of date--I'd decided what I wanted to order ahead of time but it wasn't available. So overall I felt like this ritual didn't have the attention and care I would expect for something this expensive. I am glad I treated myself to this experience but would not do it again.

The atmosphere is serene without being silent--soft music, trickling fountains, and the scent of citrus trees drifting through the air. Even as a visitor, I felt instantly transported. The food at Royal Palms strikes that perfect balance between refined and comforting. Every dish I tried felt thoughtfully composed--fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and a presentation that shows care without feeling overly fussy. What sets Royal Palms apart is the overall experience. Even if you're not staying overnight, the property makes you feel like you've escaped somewhere special. The combination of historic charm, lush landscaping, and warm hospitality creates a sense of calm that lingers long after you leave. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal, wander the grounds, and genuinely forget you're just minutes from the city. A highlight would definitely be the service provided, going above and beyond in all aspects whether an event, check in or needing assistance for something. I had the great pleasure in seeing Madison in action and her work ethic was beyond 100. She is great and a star! Very communicative, efficient and made our stay very welcome! Royal Palms Resort & Spa is one of those rare destinations where the atmosphere, service, and food all work together to create something memorable. Whether you're visiting for a meal, a drink, or simply to soak in the ambiance, it delivers an experience that feels both luxurious and welcoming.

Have you ever dreamed of staying in the hotel room in the middle of a wedding?! If you are…read morescreaming yes, request a casita room. We had to close our shades as the wedding can see directly into our room and the music is LOUD (Chris Brown is blasting as I type and bass, mercy is it bumping.) It was kinda creepy. We could see and hear the entire ceremony. In my reservation I requested a quiet room, and I have quiet room in my Hyatt profile. I don't think that much forethought is put into guest placement. Yes, we are paying pennies compared to this wedding BUT they are not fostering relationships with Hyatt members. (I did mention this to reception and they offered bonus points. Great BUT this is an awful last night.) The room: King Casita is an excellent size! We have a king bed and a rollaway bed and we still have space! The bathroom space is large too! I don't care for a stocked fridge and snacks. It's useless nowadays. We had to ask for a fridge to be brought in. The room is very clean, however there were a few moths flying around the room, which was odd. Pool: the pool is wonderful! We are here on spring break (a very popular travel week) and always found spots at the pool. The servers are the pool are awesome 5/5 stars! Attentive and professional. The food at the pool was great (the burger was the restaurant burger and the whipped ricotta and fruit was yummy). The location is great! We did rent a car but never had to drive far! The valet team is speedy but it's an odd service as the parking spaces are super close. (I was ready to give this place 4 stars but this last night is a stinky way to end the trip.)

I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for myself and 3 girlfriends. At the time of booking, I made it clear we had not decided on services yet and wanted to choose when we arrived. The night before, they called and left a voicemail confirming us for 90-minute massages, which was never agreed upon. I immediately called back and clarified that we were still coming, but only wanted 60-minute massages and would choose our exact services when we got there. They confirmed that was fine. When we arrived, I signed us in and specifically wrote "combo" because I was interested in their combination reflexology. Before my massage even started, I clearly told my masseuse I wanted the combo reflexology, and she acknowledged it. However, the massage I received was not reflexology at all there was no foot soak and barely any foot work, which is standard at every reflexology place I've been to. On top of that, during the massage they were extremely pushy about extending our sessions another 30 minutes (making it 90 minutes total). I was asked twice, and all 3 of my friends were also pressured to extend. We all declined. At checkout, I noticed I was being charged significantly more than expected. When I asked, they told me they gave me the "combo body massage" instead of the "combo reflexology." That was never what I asked for. Instead of taking accountability or trying to correct their mistake, they did nothing. To make matters worse, their tipping system feels very uncomfortable and aggressive. They present tip options starting around 30-38% and hold the payment screen right in front of you, creating unnecessary pressure. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized, misleading, and focused on upselling rather than customer service. I take responsibility for not being more confrontational in the moment, but not everyone is comfortable speaking up, and businesses should not rely on that. I left feeling taken advantage of, and unfortunately, they've lost our business. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.
