I took my car for an ail change, They upsold me full fluid change, then they called me back and told me my swing arms need to be replaced because the rubber is torn. I took pictures of one and you can clearly see on the photo where they purposely pushed down on the rubber to break it open. When I was there I was wondering why the rubber seals were pushed down. It didn't click until later that day that they pushed it in to break the seals open. SCAMMERS!!! While I was there I heard them try to sell an old lady a 5K turbo charger for her car. My 2014 Sonata started randomly overheating. I went to a few different shops they were at capacity couldn't get me on schedule til the next week. I stopped in Purrrfect and Luis was kind and able to take care of such a crucial part of my life. Pricing? Could always be more reasonable but car needed a fan assembly. The man was sooooo nice on the phone then when I got there things changed! I was in the lobby standing at the desk for so long (near 20-25 mins) and not one person came out to help me! Several workers saw me thru the glass and NOT ONE PERSON asked "have you been helped?" Or "Just one minute please we are really behind" nothing! I take my car there for service all the time these guys are very professional you don't get a lube guy to change your oil you get a full mechanic to change your oil and that's important because if they don't do the oil change correct you can ruin your engine. The employees have been there for over 15 years I noticed that a lot of reviews are not for this perfect auto must confuse this one with the other ones. Employee don't change. This one is independent from the others so the reviews are not correct. I just wanted to point out that if you bring your car to this location you will notice the difference in how they operate and the best thing is that you will always see the same faces for years and years. Do not take your vehicle to this shop!! My wife took our car in for an engine oil leak and was sold on a $1,000 radiator repair. A few week have passed and the oil continues to leak underneath the driver seat, the same exact location that brought us in the first time. The repair man had the nerve to tell us that this leak must have been new, otherwise he would have noticed it and only offered to change our engine oil in hopes that would help. How ridiculous, dishonest thieves who like to take advantage of customers. Avoid this trashy dump of a shop. I wish i had done some research on this company in Vegas, a shady history.. read more

Do not bring your vehicle here for service. I was told there woud be a diagnostic charge of 100 dollars to figure out what the problem was with my power steering. I was assured that I would be called when the issue was discovered to obtain authorization to repair. Instead, I received a phone call telling me that the repair was completed, that no parts were needed, and the 6 hours of labor for soldering a broken wire was 840 dollars. I was told that I should be happy, because any other auto repair shop would have sold me a new steering rack for 3000 dollars plus labor costs. Althought I was pleased that the issue was discovered, if I had been called and told of the costs to repair the wire ( as I was promised ), I would have had the repair work done elsewhere for a fair price. read more

I'm in town visiting my sick mom. I took her car in for an oil change. While I was there I realized I misplaced her debit card! I panicked, I had stopped and got a soda at a Terribles but I did not know the streets, I'll get to this point in my review. My mom has always taken her car here, since she retired here about fifteen years ago. It's a bit out of the way from her home. She's in Mountains Edge and they're on Fort Apache, over ten miles away. She says they have the best customer service and it's worth the drive. I can see why she insists on going to this location. At first I figured I left her card in the car, asked them to look and I couldn't find it. They were so kind as they could see the look of sheer panic on my face. They tried to help me pinpoint the Terribles and I tried calling all of them but none of them were the locations. They kindly allowed me to take the car, after the oil change was finished and retrace my route. Terribles had the card! I called back to let them know and they said that they were just glad that I found the card. My mom has been a customer of theirs for years so I'm sure her history came up. I'm beyond grateful for their kindness and helpfulness. It's been a very stressful trip and it's nice to see an auto shop whose employees showed genuine kindness. Highly recommend. Purrfect Auto is THE BEST in town! I recommend this company to everyone and won't take my care anywhere else! I went in for an oil change. (The price for an oil change was much more affordable than other places I have been!) They also looked at my car and topped off my fluids. After looking at my car, they informed me that I needed new air filters and a new oil filter. They also let me know the oil filter was too tight and that it would need to be replaced because they might have to break a piece of it in order to remove it. I approved the estimate and they did the work. They actually gave me a really great price for the filters and labor. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! The service was professional and quick! My car broke down on the way to Vegas, as I was waiting for the tow truck I started to call repair shops in Vegas. Purrfect Auto was the first to answer out of 4 calls.. they got my info so once I got there they checked it out once it got off the tow truck. Turns out my engine blew so they gave my prices for a replacement and labor etc. Not the best price but totally worth the work. 2 weeks later I came back to pick up my car and pay off the rest.. As I drove away my temperature light came on so I took it right back, which they were able to fix/replace the sensors in no time I was back on the road. I'm from Southern California so I took the car back over the many hills/mountains in over 100 degrees outside, and it made it no problem. It's running like new!! Thanks Luis!! read more

Went to get an oil change. Zaid the manager was very helpful. Been getting my oil change here for a year now. Last time I did it, I told them that ONE of my brake lights were not working. After the oil change, a guy comes up to me and tells me that ALL brake lights were not working and that the problem was not the bulbs. Quoted me $175.00 for diagnostics and service on top of the oil change. Decided to check out other auto shops. When I got to another one, they showed me(while I was looking at them take out the back panels for the rear lights) that the bulbs were all switched up and that the only problem was the one bulb that I noticed in the first place. Charged me $35 for service and that's it. Shame on you guys. You just lost a loyal customer. Hopefully management cracks down on the terrible person who tried to sucker me into paying that much(not unless they're in on it). read more

I called back in two hours and was told there was only one vehicle ahead of me and I should come back in: once I got there, I was told it would be another two hours. I came to Purrfect Auto this morning at 9am for an oil change. I was greeted and helped immediately by Karen up front. I got an oil change for a good price, and my car was taken in instantly. I would recommend this place if you need an oil change. I want to explain a situation that happened when I was here: A man walked in and interrupted our service conversation, asking if they do tire patches. He got in line behind me, then quickly interrupted again, asking how long the wait would be to patch his tire. He was told by Karen that they could help him out after they were done handling their customer (myself). She apologized to me. He went outside, where I followed after. He asked a random worker who walked by "How come it's going to take 30 minutes for a 5 minute job?" The worker said "I'm sorry man that's just how long is estimated, it's not my call". Went in and spoke with the woman at counter day before asked how much an oil change for my truck. I was told it would be about $40 for the oil change. This was just fine with me cause back home it's about $75 to $80. I showed up the next day about 9am. The same woman greeted me and checked my truck in. They were able to take my truck right away, after about 20 minutes or so a mechanic comes in and says he is just about done and he recommended a flush of my power steering unit for $49, I decided and he said ok he just wanted to inform me service should be done. I'll make sure I check it when I get home. Thanks for advice. As I signed the papers the woman said my tire sensor was acting up. Yes she was correct, it started when we got in this 112* Vegas heat. I've been debating for several weeks before writing this review. I've been going to this shop for many months now (with somewhat mixed results) and while I like them personally they made a mistake so enormous it can't be overlooked. I went to them in the beginning of Jan '17 with an oil leak. They examined my car for an hour and change when I was told I had a bad head gasket. The fix would range between $2,500 - $4,500 depending on how much risk I was willing to take. Well, that was 3 months and 2,500 miles ago. I since received a second opinion at the dealership (not that they're perfect but the above money requires a second opinion). It turned out to be the oil pan for $290. Mistakes happen but the dealership found the problem, in short order, & fixed it. The folks at Purrfect would have blown a hole in my budget for the rest of the year - and for nothing! read more

The management keeps changing there. My front end got fixed here & spent $1,000 on repairs then took it to Tire Works for new tires & alignment then some how one of them messed up my alignment. Had Tire Works look at it then they said no have Purrfect Auto fix it they screwed it up then Purrfect Auto says that even though I was still under warranty I still need to pay another $600 for them to re fix my front end! Which like a dummy I did because they said that I would have to sign a waiver to take my car out or either pay the $600 to get it back! I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, and bought a brand new Yukon in 2004. These guys are the only ones that have ever worked on either since I've been in Vegas. They are the only ones who have ever touched the 04 Yukon. They've done all oil changes and whatever repairs needed on the Dodge for over 15 years. Purrfect Auto had a bad reputation for a long time. However I think the company has turned themselves around. I've been taking my car there since last summer for major work and I have been pleased every time I've gone there. The prices are extremely reasonable and the mechanics are very nice. Last week, I had taken my car in to change the spark plugs and they noticed that one of my ignition coils was damaged. They replaced it for free! I found a receipt from another place and they charged me $515 to change out the coil!! Mike, is very helpful and Jose is an awesome mechanic. Don't waste your money! We got charged $1200 to fix a power steering leak a couple of years ago. It continued to leak. After giving birth, I finally took it back in and told them what was going on. Let me just say how much I appreciate Luis! We originally towed our car to a nearby auto guy who found that the cabling in our Mini Cooper had been destroyed by critters (yikes!). Our mechanic didn't handle wiring issues for Mini/bmw so Luis and some guys helped push my car a few businesses down to Purrfect auto to save me another tow! When Luis called with the cost of a new part I almost cried; but he assured me he could get a salvaged part for 1/5th the dealer cost. After speaking to my insurance agent and realizing that the vermin attack was covered, Purrfect Auto kept the car apart and inside to wait for an adjuster, then handled everything like a friend would I can't say enough good stuff about a car repair shop that would do everything possible to be sure that something necessary wasn't a financial hardship on my family. Called about getting my rear breaks fixed to try and save money. Over the phone they said it would be $159 compared to $224 at Nissan. I got there, and they wanted $240 for it after checking the breaks. The mechanic was kind of a dick and didn't want to let me leave and said Nissan would be way more. Took the car to one of the high end auto shops to see how much it would be, and they told me they get a lot of complaints about cracks etc with the parts from these types of auto shops.. Anyway, just took it to Nissan and got everything I needed done for cheaper than this place, and I know I got quality parts and it was done right! Usually the only thing more expensive than the dealership is the dealership... but not in this case! If you guys want breaks done, find someone you trust or pay the money. Don't go here. read more
