Super cool coming into a Korean ramyeon store I'd see on Youtube!!! Honestly, what attracted us to coming here was the big corgi inflatable eating a bowl of ramen!!! We parked at the structure across from the corner, (which is 3 hours free with validation from one of the stores in there, which we got some snacks from the market), and walked over to check it out. I really love the details and decor in here, definitely a lot of love was put into this spot by the business owner!!! If you aren't feeling korean ramen, there are a bunch of convenience store snacks and desserts to indulge in. Some ice cups where you fill the cups with drink of choice are also sold here. The brightly-lit freezers displayed some ice cream snacks as well. The main lobby is filled with standing tables (no chairs), but when you turn the corner there's a dining area with tables to sit down at. There's also an outdoor patio for seating too we noticed. Lots of ramen to choose from... there's a large ramen wall which is photo-worthy too. The staff helped out with using the ramen machines and the numbers at the top of the machine countdown how long to leave the bowls of ramen soup in. Would definitely love to come back here again to try out a ramen.

Ramen station just like the trending stores we see in Korea! This place has a lot of different kinds of ramen, including of all spicy level, seafood, meat, dry noodles, etc. They also have extra toppings for your ramen. Besides food, they have the trending coffee drinks and mixers. Other fun snacks are also available. The best part is they opened super late in the weekend for your hungry needs!!

Such a cool store! You get to pick a ramen from a huge wall of options and add toppings/hot water. I really like the variety and how cool the experience is. It reminds me of the Korean convenience stores!! The kimchi tuna onigiri was also pretty good. Would come back to try more!

A DIY ramen paradise! Here, you get to build your perfect bowl--choose between flavorful soup ramen or tasty dry ramen, then load it up with toppings like corn, beef, sausages, veggies, eggs, and more. Want extra bites? Grab some kimbap and pair it with their popular Korean drinks (just grab a cup of ice separately for the drink pouches). Parking's easy with street spots or a structure right behind the store. After eating, have some fun with their claw machines or snap pics at the Life4Cuts photo booth! The staff is incredibly friendly--I'm already planning my next visit!

Found this place on instagram and we had to check it out. Firsthand, I need to acknowledge the staff. They were so friendly and explained everything. She was so patient and answered all of our questions. She made our experience an awesome one. Second, they have so many choices of soups and level of spiciness. You can choose from more water based soup to less water base and more noodle styles. You can purchase extra toppings and then be on your way to the cooking bar station. Choose the type of noodles you purchased and set it and watch the magic unfold in front of your eyes. Within a few minutes it will be ready. They have a sitting and standing area to eat. Great hangout spot for friends or for a date. Afterwards you can take pictures on the Photo Booth or even give it a try at the claw machines.

Came here with my kids and the lady at the register was sooo sweet and nice. She was very patient with my kids. We were kind of in a rush so we didn't stay to try the ramen. However I did buy one and cooked it at home it was good. I will definitely come back!!

Considering you can buy almost every item here for a fraction of the price next door at Hmart, I doubt anyone is coming to the newly opened K-Ramyeon for the value. The main draw is the novelty - and maybe not having to do any dishes - but that isn't really enough to keep me returning too often. There is a large variety of instant noodles, drinks, and snacks to choose from. From making your meal to mixing your mocktail to bussing your tray and trash after, almost everything is self-service here. Staff were polite but appeared rather bored. Not that I blame them - there's not much to do besides ring up a customer here and there. The hot water stations have iPads with an instructional video on how to heat up your meal... if they work that is. When I visited, most of them were dead or locked. A couple print-out posters probably would have done the job better, but making instant noodles really isn't rocket science either way. The add-ons took the form of dehydrated flakes. I was disappointed to see that there were no fresh ingredients such as green onion, egg, or even canned/frozen items. Considering the amount you get and the fact that they likely cost cents when buying bulk dehydrated ramen ingredients, the add-on price felt a bit egregious. There's a standing area to eat or tables in the back to sit, and a couple crane games and a photo booth. I could see this as a casual hang-out spot if you were craving instant noodles or other Korean snacks - but there are also lots of similar options nearby. It's clear they put in lots of effort in the decor and branding, so hopefully they're able to carve out a niche and find their footing.

Love it! So fun, with so many ramen and drink options. I went during their soft opening and the employees--Kailee, Grace, and Brian--were so helpful. You can tell they're having a blast teaching people how to use the hot water dispensers. I had no idea there were different settings for "dry" ramen versus soup ramen--too fun! I had the Shin Black ramen--delicious, spicy but not too spicy. It was really hard to choose because there were so many tempting options. I also had the pot stickers--yummy! Well worth trying, and I will definitely be back.

Such a fun and unique spot to experience Korean instant ramen in a DIY way! I'd always wanted to try this after seeing it in K-dramas and on Instagram, and it totally lived up to the hype. You get to choose your ramen from a giant wall of options, then add toppings like sausage, rice cake, cheese, kimchi, and more. I made mine a combo with a mocktail--banana milk + coffee--and it was surprisingly delicious! The prices are reasonable, the staff is super friendly, and the place is spotless. Plus, they have free parking in the garage, which is always a big win in K-Town. Definitely coming back to try more combinations. Highly recommend!

This place is so interesting and has a great vibe! They have ramen options I rarely see and some I haven't seen before. The worker was so nice and showed us how to use the machines as it was our first time and checked to make sure we didn't have any questions. 10/10 will come again!

Overall the ramen isn't bad, chashu is nice and fatty and tender. Ramen is rich and filling. It's nice that it already comes with an egg too and you don't have to add another one. Lots of other side dishes and combos too if someone in your party doesn't want ramen. However, with the increases in prices, the fact that there's many other options in LT, and the fact that there are other Daikokuya locations, it's an alright LT option.

I was craving ramen and ordered the Ruby, with a miso-based broth. The description says, "Chicken chashu and perfectly seared shrimp create the perfect pairing, while bamboo shoots, green onion, and a seasoned egg add layers of texture and taste." The broth was indeed very good, and almost hot. Everything *in* it was not very warm: I think they left it to the broth to heat up the chicken, the egg, the noodles, and even cook the shrimp. The broth couldn't do all that. 10 minutes in, the egg halves and the chicken were still very cool inside, and the shrimp were still translucent. As you can see in the picture, they were not seared at all on arrival as per the menu. I told the waitress they weren't cooked; she said they were, but I took her up on her offer to have them "toasted." They came back w sear marks on top and still translucent underneath. The chicken is very tender, but it wasn't "chashu" as the descriptions says, either: just plain white poached chicken with no particular flavor. With this I got a melon float. It was delicious, but no spoon for the ice cream, so I used my ramen spoon. And I got the bill while I was involved with this process -- there was nobody else in the restaurant at this point, so there was no reason to hurry. Even though the waitress said "take your time"... it's hard not to feel rushed when they push the bill on you while you're still eating. Altogether not a nice experience. Next time I'll go back to Hachioji, Mr Ramen, or Shin-Sen-Gumi, which have been consistently great.

It was... fine. Not bad, not memorable -- just okay. The kind of bowl that doesn't offend you but doesn't linger in your memory either. No standout richness in the broth, no chashu slice that made me pause mid-bite. Just noodles, doing their job. This is actually the second ramen spot I've tried in Little Tokyo, and I'll admit -- I'm starting to feel a little underwhelmed by the neighborhood's ramen scene so far. For a pocket of the city with so much culinary history packed into a few blocks, I expected to be a bit more wowed by now. Two tries in, and I'm still searching for that bowl that stops me in my tracks. What did stand out, though, was the service. The staff at Maruya were genuinely warm and helpful -- attentive without hovering, quick to check in, the kind of hospitality that makes you want to root for the place even when the food doesn't quite deliver. It's the kind of detail that softens an otherwise middling meal. So, Little Tokyo ramen crawl: two down, verdict still out. The people have been great. The noodles? I'm still waiting to be impressed. On to the next bowl.

There is no better place to get dipping ramen than Tsujita!…read more The one in sawtelle always packed with a wait- this one you could walk right in! Don't bother getting anything else except the chashu tsukemen for food. It's THAT good!!! Also if you want to treat yourself- get the $6 apple juice that's won several awards. Lowkey expensive but you get why when you taste it. Best apple juice I've ever had- and I grew up in the northeast.

I ordered the spicy tonkotsu and loved the flavor, especially the chashu. I'm usually a pork belly person, but the chashu was so flavorful that I genuinely think I'll start choosing it instead from now on. Everything came out piping hot, which normally sounds like a compliment, but it was almost too hot to comfortably eat. Weirdly, we actually enjoyed the leftovers even more reheated at home. I do wish I'd tried the thicker noodles, but paying an extra $3 just to switch noodle styles felt a little ridiculous. We also tried the gyoza, which were good, but I wish they had come with a more traditional soy-based dipping sauce instead of already being dressed in chili oil. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the dipping ramen. I'd never had tsukemen before, and it sounded so good that I was already regretting not ordering it by the end of the meal.
