Came in with cash, out twenty minutes later with a new ride. All the DMV work done. BAM! I should specify, however, that my new ride was a used scooter. One of my now FOUR scooters. I already got one for Christmas from a friend, and decided I needed one more because I'm an asshole. Some people collect guns and diamonds or classic comic books. I collect vintage Japanese cars and bikes. Meh. Alen was really an awesome sales associate and he even helped me load the scooter into the back of my truck so that I could drive away into the sunset. Just wanted to write a review to let the community how great of an experience I had here at K1 motors. I had been on the hunt for a Subaru Outback for about 2 weeks and wasn't finding the one I had imagined I'd find. I got lucky and found an email from k1 motors sitting in my junk folder, looked like the car I was looking for at the price I was ideally looking to pay. I made the appointment a day before, confirmed the next morning and went in yesterday at around 530. Test drove the car and fell in love. I've only had one car buying experience prior and that was with a car dealership with my dad being present so I was a bit nervous going in without my dad there to help me out. Though Alen and boys working made the experience truly enjoyable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I discovered K1 Motors because I have been thinking about getting a Smart electric car for some time now, and periodically checked Carfax to see what was available. Amazingly, a 2015 model turned up with only 13,000 miles on it, at K1. I contacted Alen and found him to be very honest and open in answering questions. He was very familiar with the Carfax history tracking and when I came to the dealership this little car was in even better condition than I had expected. It was worth every bit of his asking price. When I took possession, he made sure I knew where the Level 1 charger was (Daimler hides it in the tailgate) and how the lock/unlock buttons on the key work. The car looks and handles as if it were brand new, and I am only surprised that Alen couldn't find a buyer for it during the seven months it was on the lot before I came along. Stood there for 15 minutes inspecting the vehicle, walking around it, staffers walking around the lot, NOT A SINGLE SALESPERSON CAME OVER TO GREET ME. But this industry is stuck in a shady and misogynistic world that seems to suit them just fine. This is our 2nd time in a year buying a car from Allen. From the first time we arrived he was very friendly and helpful! We went in after a long day of searching for a car with a good price. Sure enough Allen spoke with my boyfriend and father-in-law and helped us finding a great car for our family. He was EXTREMELY helpful and patient with us as we did not have all the paperwork we needed at the time. Alen is so easy to work with. After 10 months, I had all but given up finding a sale situation that didn't seem shady in some way. I had some good stories but still no car and was considering the scooter lifestyle when I got a notice that a car matched my search criteria at K-1. I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. There was no pressure with Alen. He was kind and genuine from start to end. It's a small lot but there was a really nice mix of brands, styles and price points and all of them looked fantastic, luxury or not.
