Heard about this dealership through a friend to help one of my relatives look for a new (used) car. After checking out some of the cars here, she fell in love with one of the cars there and took it for a test drive. There were a few issues with the components of the car. Some of them were minor, like low tire pressure in two of the tires. We were able to get that fixed and the service here is pretty great. Very nice people who are willing to do the best they can to make it a positive experience. The particular car my relative ended up purchasing had a mechanical issue with the navigation panel, causing it to shut down sporadically. She found this out after having the car for about a week and took it back to see what to do. Fortunately, she also bought a warranty for the car. Alan recommended her to take it to one of "his guys" who specializes in this repair. He even paid for her uber back to her house after dropping the car off. He was very helpful and accommodating for us. I personally had an overall positive experience here but was hoping that we would have been better informed on some of the issues that the car came with. Buying a car is already stressful enough, but dealing with unknown issues that arise soon after buying it makes it even more difficult. That being said, the experience and transaction was a very positive and smooth process. The dealership was also very clean, with lots of cars and options. The location can be tricky to get to and find parking, but there isn't much to control for in those regards. read more

This was my first experience selling a car and it couldn't have been better !! Danny is a fine decent individual and a true class act. Having visited 5 of other highest rated companies like CarMax and Caravana he stands way above the rest. My car was good mechanically, but had two significant flaws. My hood had major damage and the engine light was still on after spending $520 with two dealers. Danny looked at every part the car and drove it for about 10-15 minutes. He then offered me a price that was a little over twice that of the other competitors. Thrilled, we went back to his office. Unfortunately, I had the registration, but no title. He gave me his personal telephone number and said to call as soon as I located my title. The next day, I returned with the title. When he noticed and confirmed that I didn't have a ride home, he immediately said that he'd take care of it and called Uber. After receiving the cash and arriving home (16 miles away) , I found out that Danny had paid for the Uber trip! For me, that was a once in a lifetime experience. Danny is truly a fine person. I called Anthony about a used GL450 yesterday and asked what the best time was to drive over from Santa Monica. He said before 2pm. So today I took 2h off from work to go see the car and test drive it. I drove home from work, picked up my family that had been waiting and planning their day around this and then texted with 30' notice that we were en route. See the screenshot communication via text and form your own opinion... I don't do business with people whose lunch schedule is more important than showing me a car. Waste of time. End of story. I have always held a great amount of skepticism while interacting with car dealers, and it was no different when I first met Mr. Sunny Trurjman of Monza Car. I used to walk by his shop on Ventura Blvd and I was somewhat impressed with the exotic models available on his lot. When it came time to sell my 2006 Honda Civic, I visited his establishment to check on what he had to say, and I was equally impressed with his attitude as I had been with the autos displayed. To make a long story short, he took my car on consignment, and it was not long before he had it sold for the price we had agreed upon. He is not there to do anyone any favors, and he will try to talk you down on your price, but I find that this is what he has to do to stay thriving in a cut-throat business such as car sales. I came down from about 3.5hrs north. Alan did a great job of getting pictures and information to me to help me decide if it were worth the trip. Once I got to the lot, the car was just as described. I ended up having an issue with paperwork. Alan not only overnighted the paperwork to my home, but also included a return envelope to get it back to him. We had everything done in three days. If not for this extra bit of customer service, I never would have been able to purchase the vehicle. He even made sure I had new wiper blades. I never felt like I was dealing with a "typical" dealer. This place really is a nightmare. I bought a car from Alan. The Carfax showed an accident on record and I was assured it was nothing major. I've had the car for a couple of years and after spending over $8,000 dollars in repairs on it I'm trying to offload it. In that process, I've discovered the car suffered significant damage and the accident was certainly not a "fender bender" like Alan said. This place is disingenuous and unethical. If you're looking to buy a car here, learn from my mistake and go elsewhere. Preferably somewhere that offers an extended warranty so you don't drop 8k on repairs in two years like me. Or at the very least, go to a place that allows you to take the car to be thoroughly inspected before you purchase it. read more

I recently researched a 2018 Toyota Camry from this dealer (about two weeks ago). Upon arriving to this dealer we were greeted in a very friendly manner, Danny allowed to look around the lot as well as looking around the inside of cars that we may want to purchase. This whole initial process was very relaxed, and didn't feel rushed at any time by any of the staff. I don't have much knowledge about credit, financing or loans as well as all of the numbers, however, he made sure to answer all of my questions and thoroughly explained what everything meant. WARNING - BEWARE - STAY AWAY!!! We'd found a car that looked in great condition from the pictures posted on their website. Therefore, we called ahead, asked some questions before going to go see the car because the dealer was an hour away. Once arriving, we spoke with Alan who informed us that the vehicle was at his mechanics doing some last finishing touches and invited us to go see it there. Once there we spoke with the mechanic and inspected the car which seemed like it was in good shape. After signing papers, Alan gave us a valet key for the vehicle, which apparently was the only key they had for the car. He never mentioned anything before then about this and when asked if he could provide a discount for this inconvenience, he said that he was already selling the car to us at too low of a price (which we came to find out later was completely false). Conveniently, after his 14-day warranty had expired (You pay 50% / He pays 50% of any issues that arise) a little under a month the car started having problems with the clutch. When putting the car in reverse, the car would jolt back and forth until the car would become unresponsive and required to be shut off and restarted in order to have the gears work again. We told Alan about this and told us to bring it back so that his mechanic could check it. They had the car for a whole week!!! and didn't us provide us with some other means of transportation during that time which my son depends on to get to school. Alan called and told us that his mechanic had found no issues but would have to give the car to another mechanic that specialized in transmissions. Another month had passed until we were able to make time to bring the vehicle back and have his "other" mechanic inspect the car. Once again, they had the car for a whole week!!! and were unable to find anything until the day of going to pick up the car did Alan tell us that he drove the car and finally saw the problem we'd been referring to for the past month! Both instances they hadn't even taken the decency to wash or at least rinse the car as it was completely dirty from having just been parked outside for so many days. Later that day we washed the car ourselves and found underneath the car mat of the backseat on the passenger side was soaked, as if someone had spilled something and just left it there. We called Alan about this and he offered us to bring it back and would have the car detailed for us. Why on earth would we do that after dealing with such a dishonest person!?! In Summary: I ended up having the car diagnosed at a dealership and was informed that the whole Clutch system had to be replaced and would cost more than $2,000!!! If I didn't so soon, I would have to replace the transmission which costs anywhere from $4,000 - $5,000!!! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET $1,000'S TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH THEIR CARS MIGHT LOOK NICE ON THE OUTSIDE, IT'LL BE SURE TO HAVE PROBLEMS ON THE INSIDE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST DEALERSHIP!!! read more

But there were 4 major issues that have cost me money. $$$$ I have held off from making this post for a long time, because I really did not want to do this.... however, after the issues listed here, and the way it was handled - which was not in my favor, and not honest... I decided to go ahead and post this, for the benefit of other people. If you buy a car from them, the owner is a nice guy, but there were issues with the car, that he did NOT tell me about, which have cost me an additional expense - I should not have had to pay! I was NOT told the truth about the vehicle condition. I was told it was perfect, and I asked about the tires three times, and was NOT told the truth about the tires. My car was shipped from California to Arizona, where I'm living now. I recommend not doing this. If you buy a car from them, make sure to go pick it up in person, so that you can clear up any issues you have not been told about. When the supposedly "perfect" previously owned Volvo, with close to 18,000 miles on it, arrived: I discovered that I had NOT been told the truth about the condition of the vehicle. :: 1) $$$$ Cost to me: The "alert light" for needing its regular service was on. (The owner should have been big enough, to have the car serviced, rather than shipping it to me "in need" of servicing.) 2) $$$$ Cost to me: There was a gash in the leather, under the back passenger window. 3) $$$$ Cost to me: The steering fluid was almost completely out! And it has run "out" much faster than it should, again since then... and I don't know why. 4) $$$$ Cost to me: The other main thing was that I asked about the tires three times, and I was told that it had good tires; this was completely NOT true either. - It had two worn Pirellis on the front, and two tires that did not match AT ALL, Firestone's, stones on the back; and those two tires, didn't even match each other! One of them was a "directional tire" ... and one was not, and none of them were in anywhere near new condition! - $$$ In the next few months I had to replace, first the front tires, and then the back tires, later on. The owner was only willing to give me $70, toward any tires. Again, I had asked him about the tires three times on the phone, and he told me they were all good. I wrote this with regret, but there were too many things that were not discussed with me honestly. And, the expense of it all, including four good tires, for a top-of-the-line Volvo sedan, is quite considerable... and none of this should have been at my expense. Car-ma! read more

He saved and was obsessed with a used BMW he found online at Monza. He purchased the car and I guess I expected some kind of follow-up.. A phone call, a thank you. The attitude of indifference with the salesperson throughout and lack of follow up gave me a feel of suspicion - about the car, dealership, etc. Expected more - not 5 star service in my book - Hope the car ends up rating better....
