Love this place! One of the best Mediterranean food I've had! It's not fancy, but it's hella good! I usually get the combo shawarma or the chicken shawarma and every time it's delicious. It think it's more delicious because their garlic white sauce is so addicting. Lately, because of Covid we've been ordering takeout from them and the quality hasn't changed. I wouldnt recommend. It was terrible. Worst meal I have ever had. The place was dirty and the food was cold and the salad was old.

I'm so upset. I loved this place. I came here for dinner right now and the employees would take their masks on and off and touch the food in the front of the restaurant with the food in front of them. Non of the back of house staff are wearing masks. No cleanliness or sanitation taken seriously here. They were also scooping food on to plates and then taking it from the plates and scooping them back into the food prep area and mixing it together. I really should have taken pictures. Also one of the employees went to the soda fountain Took a cup behind all the straws and drank it and did not wash his hands after, he then served me and another gentleman's food. This really sucks because I LOVE THEIR FOOD HERE. But I won't come back until they take sanitation and me and their other customers health seriously. read more

We have been ordering take out here for many years because we enjoyed the food here. I went to pick up dinner and I can see clearly the 2 cooks in the kitchen were not wearing a mask, gloves or a hat. One was even eating while cooking. The cashier went to the back to get the pita and with his hands with no gloves to pick them up. I did ask for the replacement of the pita. It is clearly the owner doesn't care about safety of their customers. Even without the virus, they shouldn't be eating while cooking and using their hands to pick up the pita. I want to support local businesses but they need to care about their customers' health and safety!! read more

This is my favorite local Mediterranean spot to order from, and I'm never disappointed! I've ordered about a dozen times from here and have only gotten my order wrong once(today lol)! Ordered a large Greek Salad with extra olives and turnips, and a Quarter Chicken plate with Baba Ghanouj and Tzatziki ^^ The staff was friendly as always when I went to pick up, but I did receive Turkish Salad instead of Tzatziki because they wrote "Tu" on the plate. They did, however, give me an extra side of Tzatziki anyway and we're super sweet about it! One thing to note-- I think they've downsized their Large salad plates, as the container looks to be a different shape and slightly smaller than their previous Large containers. I love the food, but they need to get their orders out better. I called in my order got there and paid. The cashier said it will be just a few minutes. I waited for a while till the cashier looked up and realized my order had not been given to me. So many customers ordered food there and and got it faster than me. They finally gave me my food I get to my car take a bite and it is cold. I paid for hot food not food that had obviously been sitting around and now cold. Not the first time this has happened. Good food but they need to step it up. At the very least they could have said sorry for the long wait but they did not. Pretty much the Mediterranean equivalent of Chinese take out! Absolutely solid value and portions. It's like how Chinese take out spots shovel large amounts of sides and meats into your combo "plate"/box, except with the Mediterranean fixings. My go to is typically the combo shawerma plate with labneh and tabbouleh with rice, but you really can't go wrong here. The tzatziki is tangy and the wallop of hummus is enough for two plates honestly. I like that they offer fries as an alternative to rice; not sure which is "healthier" given that the rice is a bit oily too, but who cares. The plate also comes with a pita bread; I like to open this up and stuff it with the meats and sides. Flavourwise, everything is well seasoned, which is great as unfortunately, the meats aren't the juiciest I've had. Definitely get a saucy side like hummus/tzatziki to help. The parking lot is shared across several other shops and is not enormous, so it might be tough to find a spot in busier hours. However, indoor seating is rather vast and great for groups. The service is always nice and they let you try samples before ordering. Protip: if you're concerned about some calories, be sure to mention not to add extra oil to your hummus! Kabab Grill is one of my favourite places to fill up on in OC, and I hope it never leaves. read more

Kabab Grill is my go to for Mediterranean food. Nice family ran restaurant that has some of the most flavorful shawarma I've had in the area. I always go with their combo shawarma along with their super delicious red cabbage and hummus. Every order of the combo shawarma comes with pita as well. Super filling and delicious meal for cheap. I wish I took a picture before I ate my food! I usually order the 3 beef Kabab plate with hummus and salad and it's so worth it! It was $25 but I shared the plate with my daughter for a late lunch and there is still some leftover for a snack. I called it in and they said it would only take 10 mins. That was pretty fast because there are days where it may take 20 minutes usually weekends or lunch time I would assume. When i got there they open up and show you the plate before you pay, which I'm glad they did bc they gave me chicken but they switched it which was an easy fix- I wasn't even upset bc it didn't take long. The service is always pretty good I think the owner and his family usually work there. I'm so happy that we have a local Mediterranean restaurant in this town read more

Dang! This place is really good!!! I came here a couple of times. I've tried the Kabab Combo Plates and sandwiches. I recommend the Kabab Combo plates because their rice is so g-o-o-d! I don't know what they put in it, but it's savory and flavorful. I picked 2 skewers: 1 Chicken and 1 Kefta Kabab. For their plates, you can choose 2 side dishes. If you don't know which 2 to get, you can ask them to sample all the side dishes to see which one you like. I like the vegetables and the cole slaw. Also, you get 2 breads. I kind of thought that even though the chicken and the kefta was very flavorful, it was kinda dry. My friend got the 2 Skewers Kabab Combo Plates and got 2 different sides. He got the hummus and the kale salad. I thought the kale salad was a bit too lemony for me. Plus, hummus has lemon which was too overpowering. I liked what I got. We were full 1/2 way through our plates. FYI: their garlic butter is super good with the meat. read more

Huntington Beach and authentic Middle Eastern food? Having two things like that in one sentence is the reason I love the diversity of America and the fact that these are so easily combinable. Very legit place for authentic middle eastern food. Folks working here are diverse, some from Syria and some from other parts of the Middle East. One thing was common though, they were all extremely kind people. I hate not being able to give more stars to the establishment and can't rave about it the same way as others on yelp. However, I have to be brutally honest and that's the beauty of writing a review on Yelp. Portions are extremely generous and everything was quite good. However, lamb kabab was very dry and definitely burnt. The meat quality wasn't superb, but I guess can't expect a whole lot for the money paid. I'd put it pretty low on the list of lamb kabobs I've eaten and did not enjoy it despite being insanely hungry. When I am that hungry, I pretty much enjoy everything. The shish kabob was much better and the tabulleh was wonderful as well. I liked the rice too, great preparation. The amount of food on a portion was huge. I liked the place and would consider returning for some other items, but would definitely steer clear of the lamb kabab. read more
