It looks like we ordered the wrong menu items because the food was terrible. We had the chicken shawarma plate and beef shawarma plate and I couldn't stomach it. It tasted like what I would imagine dog food tastes like. The person who rang us up was nice, but he had the LONGEST fingernails I've ever seen and that killed my appetite too. I ended up not eating dinner that night. I really wanted to like this place because our regular shawarma place is closed on Saturdays, the reviews are good and because it's close by, I thought it would be a good alternative. Wrong! Maybe the kababs are decent, but we won't be back to find out. read more

Found this hidden gem on a list of local Palestinian owned businesses and I can't believe I haven't been here before! Food is delicious, portions are huge, staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable! What's not to love? The chicken kabobs are so flavorful and tender. And the sides! Overall such a pleasant experience for a quick and spontaneous lunch with my mom while we were out doing some errands. They have so many options for sides, entrees, and drinks, it was hard to narrow it down, but I played it safe with some chicken kebabs, rice, tabbouleh, and hummus with pita. Lack of Customer Service The food is always very tasty.... But the service is missing. Perhaps I wasn't the right ethnicity . The grandpa isn't customer service oriented and it shows. If I order 3 plates of food... Of course I want utensils, garlic sauce, and hot sauce. At the very least you should offer it to all your customers since they are purchasing your food! Driving into the area, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect at first. Everything around has a bit of a, "hole-in-the-wall," feel to it, and we all know those vibes can be one polar opposite or the other. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised with this place, though. For the quality and presentation I received, I have to take a star off of the review immediately. The price of the dish should warrant more effort in the way of a more flavorful and colorful view. My beef kebab didn't have any zing to it, and the spices were bare-bones-grade. What saved the entire experience for me was the overall quality. It wasn't as if they put no effort in, the food was disgusting, nor the ambiance off-putting. Everything here was doing its best with what is available, and for that I can offer four stars without hesitation. Would I come here often, or again in the near-future? I don't think so. I've gone to Mediterranean joints that'll serve a family of five on what I paid for two people today. However, I'm not going to knock it any further and say don't at least give it a shot. The gyro with the garlic sauce is sooo good. I put my lamb hating side aside today. Tried the gyro. Dipped it in the white garlic sauce and omg . The flavors were soo good. Umami plus the garlic and lime yogurt sauce, mouth watering. The garlic sauce brought out soo much flavors. Chicken shawarma plate chicken was kinda dry today. We went to Kabab Grill on June 28th, 2023. My daughter and I got the chicken kabob sandwich, my son got the beef kabob sandwich and my friend got the Kefta kabob sandwich. We also ordered a side of hummus and grape leaves. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I love the taste of the chicken, seasoned to perfection. We ordered some baklava before leaving. We live in Whittier, but will definitely be back soon for their wonderful, tasty food!! BTW: when we received our order we all looked at each other and said: "Wow, this is a big sandwich, I'll probably just eat half and take the rest home". Well suffice to say, we all ate all of our sandwiches, we couldn't stop eating them, so goooood!! read more

He explained his menu with enthusiasm to the lady in front of , and high I appreciated . I had ordered pick up- a Greek salad, chicken kabob and beef kabob. The kabobs were both outstanding, juicy and flavorful. The Greek salad.... Um well my favorite part was missing tomatoes. There were MAYBE five tiny pieces of chopped tomato. The dressing was light and nice, and plenty of olives and cucumber. But yeah.... Without the tomatoes, it didn't win me over. I'm hoping it was a glitch- like maybe they ran out of tomatoes but I should have been warned, I would have ordered the lentil soup instead. I don't usually eat Kababs, but when I do, it's gotta be at the KABAB Grill. The portions are *HUGE*! The chicken, the beef,...and everything else I've ordered tasty wonderful. When I go, it's always fresh. It had just the right spice! Walk in the door, either door, and you'll be greeted with a smile. They're super friendly and, as I mentioned before, super generous with their portions. The one complaint is that it takes a long time to get your food.
