Found this restaurant via Uber eats and ordered for delivery. By time we got our food it was a tad cold but I'm going to assume that's due to drive time and it probably was hot when it came out. We ordered two mixed shawarma and gyro plates as well as two kibbeh. I've never had kibbeh before and it was DELISH. The meals were also good. The meat was flavorful and the rice was not dry at all. The hummus was tasty and the salad mix was nice and fresh. We liked both the tzasiki and garlic sauce. Overall the food was great and five star worthy. The only things that led me to take away a star was that the pita was super thin and almost crunchy. Maybe that's just their style I'm not sure. First time ordering here, and it was great. Even my 4 year old liked the gyro and shawarma, and she is hard to please. On top of that, I'm Turkish, so my standards are pretty high. That being said, my gyro and chicken shawarma plate was delicious. The chicken was fragrantly marinated. Gyro cooked on point with the crisp edges but soft middle. My husband really liked his falafel. Said it was crispy outside and soft inside. The baklava was worth every bite. We ordered to-go due to covid and when we got home both of our meals were wrong. The quality of the food was also not great, the rice was not cooked all the way and the chicken was really dry. All-around delicious food. The garlic dipping sauce could melt a vampire. I enjoy Mediterranean style lamb so I had the lamb kabab. Very delicious, grilled to the perfect level of doneness, smoky and juicy. The falafel were also seasoned well. Portions are generous. The seasoned rice is hellamazing. You can request no veg/no hummus and in return you'll receive extra rice! Although I love my veg so I kept my meal as-is with the lovely cucumber salad and hummus dip. Visited Kababji Grill yesterday evening for some Turkish coffee. There was one family (a dad and two kids) and another guy waiting for a takeout order and us. There were five dirty tables that remained so throughout the time we were there. The coffee in short was hideous. As someone who has visited Turkey many times and has Turkish friends, I know what Turkish coffee is supposed to look and taste like. The coffee was not freshly made and had a weird token amount of ground in the bottom of the cup. It wasn't even slightly foamy at the top. It was bitter like it had been reheated. It's sad because I'm gonna guess that a lot of people are going to try this place (and the coffee) not knowing any better. If their lackadaisical manner toward how they present their restaurant and their nasty coffee continues, I believe they'll be out of business by next year... read more

I love this place so much that I am writing a third review (see also: google and fb). They absolutely CATER to me when I come in, even for a to-go order. I saw some negative reviews, and I don't know if that was just an old employee or whatttt, but those reviews are just not correct!! I eat here 2-3x a week. It was takeout order and here are the things that went with the order: - (Minor) They didn't follow the instructions when taking order, clearly informed the sauce type but didn't get the right one. - (Major) - Except the chicken kebab, two of the other kebab was raw. Seriously? You could see the color of the raw meat easily, don't you guys check before handing over to your customer? I had to throw the entire meal in the dustbin. - Chicken kebab was okay, tasteless and cold. - Pita was cold too. $23 for this kind of food? I hate to give a bad review of this place because I wanted to love the fact that we had a Mediterranean restaurant open so close to where we live. I also don't understand all the 5 star reviews? We tried a few things, the mixed plate that has chicken and beef with rice, hummus, and mixed veggies. We also tried the gyro plate and an order of pita bread and baklava. My husband ordered online to pick up, the first thing he noticed was how everything was being reheated in a microwave and there was no sign of a griddle/stove or a vertical broiler they normally have for the gyro meat. The chicken and beef were dry and nothing to write home about. The gyro meat slices honestly reminded me of bologna, they were thinly sliced and all looked identical, like it was store bought and heated. The only thing I enjoyed was their rice. This place need a lot of work. If you're looking for good Mediterranean, Zorbas is really, really good but sadly not as close as this place. We won't be returning. read more

I wanted to give this place a better review to be honest 3 stars is a bit of stretch but I will go with 3. First the restaurant, it's super close to my house so that is awesome and that there is no other mediterranean spot near by so was pretty excited about it! Then the other yelpers jumped on and I was ecstatic! The overall design not too excited though, some booths some chairs, no real direction when you get into the restaurant. I just walked up to the counter and there was a tablet to order food no one to help you just do your own thing. I got my food ordered had a question someone eventually came up to help me and they didn't know how to use the tablet so took me to the register instead. Second the food was ok wasn't blow my socks off delicious but it was ok. The hummus though I will say pretty good, I enjoyed that, it was creamy not too salty and had good flavor to it! I got the Gyro plate and the meat was flavorful so no complaints there but where is the meat actually cooked? Typically places have it on a roaster and they cut chunks of it off, maybe that's what I am used to so maybe this was made differently (I don't know) but the meat was good so don't let that deter you. The rice was not amazing it was actually a mix of the basmati rice and jasmine rice and it wasn't super flavorful. Again it was ok at best not amazing. The Pita I got was super tough might be because it was late or maybe I got it to go? It was tough to tear and eat. Overall I am glad it's close by and I can get some of my cravings out of the way but not great, maybe I need to give it another shot since I got there it was late and they have only been opened a few days. Average at best, will give it another shot and try some of the other items and hopefully it will be better then. read more

This is 5 stars in relation to the nearest Mediterranean competitor (chain), Zoe's, which this place in my opinion beats in taste and value for cost. I've seen a number of reviews that food isn't prepped authentically like other family-owned Mediterranean places they've had in the place, they're probably right. But it's good. Chicken shwarma is really well cooked and flavored with a great spice mix. The falafel is just spot-on soft inside, crispy out, great flavor. You get huge salad portions and plenty of fresh veggies. They give you fresh garlic and tahini (on request) that is authentic, not cheap. I'm a fan. Gonna be a regular. read more

We had ordered Chicken shawarma plates for lunch via GrubHub. We got stale food. Chicken was hard and completely dry. Rice was also very stale. I called them up to check with them and the response was "Chef did not show up today and we gave you yesterday's food". I was dumbfounded. Amazing transparency.
