Staff at register was very friendly. Ordered gyro's which didn't take long but I arrived at 11:15am & they were still finishing up making the soups so we had to wait a little bit for that. She said they make them fresh daily. Inside decor is ok. It's clean, has a rustic vibe, wood chairs, 7 tables, soft music playing in background. Lamb soup is broth based but so full of flavor you'd swear meat is in it. Quite good. Lentil soup was a puréed soup, no visible lentil peas. More on the thinner than thicker side. I love lentil soup so much to my surprise although it too was good, I'd give the edge to the lamb soup. The gyro meat of lamb & beef mix was good. The pita bread was thin & light. They gave ample onions, tomatoes & sauce and the pickles were a different twist for a gyro but they didn't have a strong "pickley" taste. All in all I'd say their Mediterranean food was good based on the gyro & soup I had. They let me know they also have north & south indian food and that I could ask for that in the future because their chef knows how to make it. (it's shown on a catering menu if you ask for it)

Lamb Shank with berry rice and pita

We came here for lunch. They have daily specials so we ordered those and from the menu. I ordered the lamb shank with berry rice (additional cost) , cardamom chai (too thick for me), and mango lassi. The lamb was delicious. The rice was okay. Pita was okay too. The service was excellent. The waitress explained the menu and daily specials to us.

Loved the food and the people at Kabob Cafe. Everything from the hummus to the chicken to the tea was delish! Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. It's a small quaint restaurant with quick service and delicious food.

Excellent food and service Shank lamb was very good and the grilled chicken so tasty

    Chicken curry

I hate to write this but this was just not good, at all. I had high hopes. I've been eating here for years but it's been a while. Ordered so many items and none were good. They Forgot our pita bread which I paid extra for. Chicken curry was too tough to eat. Gyro plate was way overcooked. Beef koubedeh was raw! And the beef and chicken kabob was so bad. They used to offer filet but now it's called "beef chunks" and we can see why. Inedible. Just awful. $125.00 I can't get back. Threw it away so I'm not happy.

    Koobideh meal

I got a mixed plate chicken and beef kabobs

The food is very good, the service is wonderful they treat you like family & the ambiance is amazing great vibes here.

Good food, great prices and the restaurant just feels cozy. The tzaziki is the best I've had. And they have kid friendly options.

There is a wide array of vegetarian and no veg dishes so all appetites are satiated. I love the non veg dishes and appetizers! Ending the meal with a dessert and chai tops it off! Special Shout out to Sumera, the hostess everyday of the week, during lunch! Although the space is small and can get stuffy, it allows for a more personable and informal experience.

One of my biggest surprises in my recent adventures to Sugar Land was finding Naseeb, a seemingly…read moresmall and family owned Indian spot that has been around for many years. Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. (#2) And fabulous sign that reads: "Delight in every bite, but waste not a single bite. - ChatGPT"

It came with jasmine rice and I ordered a garlic naan to accompany the dish. As I said, the dish was good. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the paneer was above average. I've had this dish hundreds of times over the past 30 years. I found the paneer a tad bit spicier than I like, and it led me to wonder was that a mask to cover some deficiency. I sampled the dish prior to leaving and noted. Something was missing regarding the flavor profile. Unfortunately, I can't identify the missing ingredient.(s). I called and placed my order and it was ready at the time quoted. I was promptly greeted when I entered the restaurant. In my opinion this restaurant does not offer value to the prices they charge and servings offered. GN3
