Lamb Shank with berry rice and pita
    Emy A.

We came here for lunch. They have daily specials so we ordered those and from the menu. I ordered the lamb shank with berry rice (additional cost) , cardamom chai (too thick for me), and mango lassi. The lamb was delicious. The rice was okay. Pita was okay too. The service was excellent. The waitress explained the menu and daily specials to us.

Loved the food and the people at Kabob Cafe. Everything from the hummus to the chicken to the tea was delish! Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. It's a small quaint restaurant with quick service and delicious food.

Excellent food and service Shank lamb was very good and the grilled chicken so tasty

    Chicken curry

I hate to write this but this was just not good, at all. I had high hopes. I've been eating here for years but it's been a while. Ordered so many items and none were good. They Forgot our pita bread which I paid extra for. Chicken curry was too tough to eat. Gyro plate was way overcooked. Beef koubedeh was raw! And the beef and chicken kabob was so bad. They used to offer filet but now it's called "beef chunks" and we can see why. Inedible. Just awful. $125.00 I can't get back. Threw it away so I'm not happy.

    Koobideh meal

This place really hit the spot. Koobideh was delicious. Will definitely go back for fast, cozy meal

I got a mixed plate chicken and beef kabobs

The food is very good, the service is wonderful they treat you like family & the ambiance is amazing great vibes here.

No longer run by the same owners. It's now more of an Indian / Pakistani style rather than Persian.

Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. We ordered the goat, spinach, some chicken and some goat rice as seen in the photos. I love the classic chai because it's not sweet and great ratio of milk to tea. You can choose your spice level on dishes and also note that all goat items have bones. The ambience is very cultural, colorful and peaceful. Quick service and comfortable seating. Our waitress was also kind enough to explain the different dishes and sauce bases. So don't feel intimidated and definitely come hungry! yummy!
