I recently tried Kabob Grill and it completely exceeded my expectations. The steak shawarma was absolutely incredible. It was grilled perfectly with a beautiful char on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. The lamb kabob plate was just as impressive. The seasoning was amazing, bold and savory while still letting the natural flavor of the meat shine through. The rice tasted like it was made with high quality butter, rich and fragrant, and it paired perfectly with the kabobs. The real star of the meal was the Dubai cheesecake. It stole the show. It was creamy, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal!! The owner is super sweet and really cares about you having a good meal. My son wanted to try this place after seeing it online. I had two gyro tacos, and my son had one chicken and one steak. All the different meats were delicious and well seasoned. Okay! I just want to share how great this restaurant is. The first time I came here it was actually still closed lol. Anyways, I didn't check the time coz I was like 15 minutes early. Staff at front counter was friendly and greeted me, she gave me a menu and took my order. I ordered a gyro wrap with a side salad with dressing and tzatziki sauce. All of the meats are good, and I tend to go for the chicken and steak more often. Everything is made fresh to order, and people are always friendly when I stop in. The Dubai cheesecake was also a standout - noticeably better than most of the overpriced and disappointing Dubai chocolate things I've tried. I was at Kabob Grill yesterday after a hard day's work, hungry and tired. I decided to go to this restaurant, even though it was about 20 miles of drive, because the advertisement video gave the impression, the food would be great. Upon arrival, driving in traffic, I was ready to eat a good amount of food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed the ambiance was okay. The place was clean and tidy. I would give the ambiance 5 out of 10[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did notice that it was dinner time when I had arrived at this restaurant, the restaurant was empty, except for only two people seated and that they were not eating. I assumed they were restaurant employees as they knew the server[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. If this restaurant food was good as advertised, then the place at dinner time should be at least half filled, this was not so. But then I was tired and hungry and did not want to go to another restaurant and so decided to stay. The gentleman, the server, who greeted us sat us down. The menu looked like any other Kabob place. The server was pleasant and very attentive and alert. An order of Lamb chop platter, medium done and Aleppo kabob platter, also medium done was made. Service 9 out of 10. Lamb Chop Platter. Salad was good. The lamb was well done closer to being dry not even close to medium done, as ordered. Extremely salty. I have never eaten anything as salty as this set of Lamb chops. There were burnt areas on the lamb chops which could not be eaten. I guess the grilling was done in a high heat and high flame grill. Very, very disappointed. Next came the Aleppo Kabob platter. The same salad was served. The Aleppo Kabob was also over cooked and also had burnt portions to it. This was also quite salty but not as salty as the Lamb chops. The Aleppo Kabob was dry too and it seemed that Aleppo Kabob was not freshly made. It was precooked and microwave heated prior to serving. Overall food was disappointing. FOOD RATING: 3 OUT OF 10. 3 because the salad was fresh with a tasty dressing. Frankly speaking I would not like to rate the food because the standard of food was substandard and poor, at best. Would I visit this restaurant again. Possibly not, maybe in 6 months. In 6 months if the restaurant still exists, then that would mean they have got their act corrected and the food quality has improved and so worth trying out one more time. I would then love to try out the food and love to give good to great review. GOOD LUCK TO THE RESTAURANT OWNER. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THE GRAVITY OF THE SITUATION AND IMPROVE ON FOOD QUALITY. First time here, I found it on TikTok. I ordered the Shawarma tacos, beef, and chicken and the baba Ganoush. The tacos had a ton of flavor, it came with sumac onions, which I appreciated. It had basically a pico de gallo style veggie mixture inside of it. On the side, it came with a traditional spicy red sauce and green sauce.
