Stopped in while visiting Phoenix for a football game. Let me tell you the reviews for this place weren't lying. I met the owner who's customer service skills were beyond amazing. So kind , helpful and answered any and all questions I had. I ordered the beef koobideh combo which comes with rice , salad , roasted vegetables and dips . The meat was flavorful and juicy packed with flavor from the grill they use to grill the meats with outside it was phenomenal. He also gave me free drinks with my order. While waiting for my food he assisted taking food out for an elderly women who recently was discharged from the hospital showing how much he loves to serve others and constantly had a smile on his face. There is a wait while they grill all your meat to order since it's fresh but definitely worth it! The ambiance inside is a small location with limited seating inside and some outside. I took my order to go and it did not disappoint. I will return next time im in the area. If you ever want some really good food check this place out. read more

My favorites are the pork ribs and chicken thighs kabobs. Owners cook the food, so quality is always the best. Make sure to call at noon to ensure they are open due to hight demand. After seeing someone rave about this place on IG, reading the Yelp reviews, seeing the AZ Central review, and then learning it was listed as one of the Top 50 restaurants by the New York Times...I finally, decided to give this place a try. Reading the reviews here I knew a few things in advance, there is a heavy emphasis on the "to go" part, you need to order early, and parking is limited. I called around 3 PMwill and they had one chicken thigh dinner left. I took it and told her I would be there at 4:45. I gave her my credit card number and at 4:45 I was there and my meal was ready! There was plenty of food for two or, in my case, enough for dinner the next day. I loved every morsel. Halfway through I forgot about the little salad and the side sauce. Both were fantastic. In fact, I think next time I am going to get more of that salad. The sauce had a serious kick to it. The rice and roasted vegetables were perfect. I absolutely loved the roasted tomatoes. I don't think you can find more accommodating and kind owners. Their smiles light up the room. Even after what had to have been a long day...they could not have been more welcoming. After speaking to the owner, I learned you can call a day ahead. This will be my strategy next time as I plan to introduce my 94-year old father to the deliciousness of Kabob Grill N' Go. read more

Kabob Grill N Go is a small postage sized kabob take out restaurant located in Phoenix. They do have a couple of small tables but for the most part this is take out. They offer kabob combos and kabob wraps and a few sides. They just opened during the pandemic and only have been open a week at the time of my review. They currently are very busy and sell out of the food before they close I've been told. I guess I hit them at their off time because the food critic from our local newspaper said that the chicken he ate here was the best chicken that he has eaten in the ten years since he moved to Phoenix. So naturally I wanted to try this chicken too. With such a glowing review from the Arizona Republic and low prices we tried three of their 5 combos. I really loved the char roasted pepper. The pepper had a delicious char taste to it. The next best were the chicken tenders. They were tasty and tender but lacked juice......sort of dry but tender. Our beef barg (marinated steak) was chewy and dry but cooked to a nice medium. Our food critic liked the Cornish chicken best. Ours had a dry over cooked breast.... I guess if you hit them at the right time the food can be amazing. But if you hit them at the wrong time you will get what I got. Three stars isn't negative and means AOK on Yelp. 4 stars means fan. I have some reservations about dry meat so I feel 3 stars is an accurate rating. Newly opened at this time and may or may not improve. read more

A hidden gem!!!This spot is amazing. I am so glad I came across them on social media, decided to finally give them a try. They are right off of 16th street which is very busy. Parking is limited, but additional parking is available in the back of the restaurant. The staff was friendly and greeted me upon entrance. The food took about 15mins to come out as it is grilled and served fresh. Both beefs were amazing and so tender and flavorful. Finally got a chance to try this place after hearing so much about them from numerous folks in my social circle. Nice, simple menu in terms of offerings. They have beef, steak, pork ribs, all white meat chicken, and lastly, chicken thigh. All are available a la carte or as a combo which includes rice, a salad, grilled veggies of the day, and a choice of their cucumber mint or chimichurri dipping sauce. They have the hours of typical smaller mom n pop shops, so be cautious on the day of the week and the time you're calling. My first naive attempt at picking up food here, I called at 5pm to place a to go order (they close at 6, it was also just a typical thursday) and was immediately informed by the employee on the phone that they were sold out of everything lol. Good for them! But I was very bummed out. So, we decided we needed vengeance and redemption. Called Saturday at 1240pm (they open at noon ) and still needed to call about 6 times until we reached someone. Their voicemail states if you encounter their msg during normal business hrs, that you should just try calling back as they are in the middle of helping customers. Anywho, finally got a hold of them as was told, based on the tickets they've received so far, the earliest they can promise us a pickup time is 2:30pm. Perfect with me, just dying to get my hands on their food. I ordered their beef koobideh combo, my friend ordered the pork combo, and we got the white meat chicken skewer a la carte just so we try the trifecta of all their offered protein options. We wanted to try the chicken thigh but it wasn't offered that day. Also, they only had jalapeño and grilled tomatoes that day, we both would've preferred to try their Anaheim pepper and grilled onions instead. Which I feel would made this review a 4 instead of a 3. Grilled tomatoes just does not nothing for me. Still soft and mushy no matter what. Grilled onions, when grilled, at least has a change of taste profile. And some individuals like myself do prefer cooked onions over raw. And jalapeño is a bit commonplace for me, I would have rather tasted their Anaheim. Regardless, the beef koobideh was flavorful, with a unique spice or seasoning I cannot identify. The pork was not as tender as other ways I've had pork but delicious nonetheless (in fact, in order of my liking, it was the pork, then chicken, then beef koobideh). Rice was a lil lacking in flavor but nothing some hot sauce can't help. The chimichurri was different. But I grew into as the meal progressed. Food was AMAZING, literally every single person in the shop was s first timer and all were thrilled to get their food!!! We've probably driven past this place dozens of times & eaten at the Middle Eastern Deli & Bakery next door a few times without stopping in. We are SO glad we finally did! We tried the barg wrap and the chicken tender wrap-- both amazing. Price points on both are equally awesome. The wrap is huge. Probably north of a pound of meat. They literally put an entire skewer's-worth of meat inside with some flame-grilled veggies (zucchini, peppers, onions). It's easily 2 meals, even for someone with a large appetite. Then it's served with a charred Anaheim chile (mild-medium spice). The barg (marinated steak) is phenomenally tender. So tasty. The chicken tenders, also marinated, is so flavorful and tender. Service is great. The guy behind the counter let's you know how long it's going to take to grill and prepare. The grill guy working out back (maybe the owner?) is a vibe-- outgoing with a big smile. He clearly loves what he does. Ambiance is cool. It's basically a grab and go situation with a counter inside and a couple tables out front. Can't wait to get back. 10/10 read more

On a strong recommendation from my boss I got the chicken tenders combo and the owners gave me some chimichurri to try along with some of the yogurt sauce and tomato/cucumber salad. Absolutely blown away. When I ordered over the phone I didn't realize it was going to be such a large portion for just me but I was more than happy to continue eating it for a few other meals. Next time when I called they were out of the chicken tenders so I got the beef barg for me and my boyfriend. My bf was also absolutely blown away, it was honestly amazing and he said he was "ruined" now due to how good it was. I've been here 3 times now and that won't stop.
