We had Kabob Grill N Go cater our wedding last week and it was SO AMAZING. The guests were raving about the food. The locals were so shocked we were able to get such an incredible restaurant to cater for us! Not only was the food exceptional, but the passion Tony and Hasmik put into each and every aspect of the restaurant can be tasted in every bite. We had rice, chicken (both white and dark meat), Beef Koobideh, plus pickles, salads, yogurts, and probably more that I am forgetting. Everything was truly so delicious. We cannot thank Kabob Grill n Go enough for their hard work catering our wedding. The most sweetest couple run this place! I always call my orders in and have a great interaction each time! The wife was so helpful with ordering and recommending items. The husband as well is super nice he offered me water because it was hot outside and even opened the door for me when leaving! Customer service here is superb!! But most importantly getting to the food WOW!! It's soo good! My favorite meat has to be the chicken thighs, you want to call in ahead just in case they run out. Chicken tender would be my second fav. Everything together with the rice, whole tomato, and sauce is so flavorful with that nice smoky taste from the grill! Don't let the prices of the the combos scare you. The entrees can be shared between 2 people or make multiple meals. Call ahead your order because it will take 30 MINUTES to prepare. If you get the voicemail, just keep calling back because they are helping another customer. Seating is limited. 4 bar seating inside against the window & 2 outdoor table. As soon as you step out the car the smell of smoky grilled meat makes you salivate. I ordered the CHICKEN THIGH COMBO + SINGLE SKEWER BEEF BARG. The single skewers are 1lb of meat so you are getting a good amount. You actually get more meat than you do rice & veggies. The meats are so tender & well seasoned. I would love to try the Beef Koobideh & the Pork Ribs too. The COLD GRILLED EGGPLANT SALAD was a little steep in price but it does add more depth of flavor to the meal. My only complaint is that the portion of shirazi salad & cucumber mint dip isn't enough for the size of the meal but you can always purchase more as a side. read more

First let me start out by saying I am a foodie and will try anything at least once. This was the first time trying Armenian food, and I absolutely loved it. My work team went here for a team lunch as one of my coworkers recommended it. The Beef was super tender and favorable, the jalapeños were super spicy(just how I like them) and the tomato's were super ripe and fresh. This hole in the wall is located in an unassuming location, but is full of hidden treasures. I honestly only found Kabob Grill N' Go because of a famous YouTuber who reviews all food, and not strictly dumplings. #IYKYK We entered the establishment and were greeted by Tony and his delightful staff. They made us feel welcome and were happy to breakdown the menu and what they had to offer. We ordered the Beef Koobideh and Chicken Thighs - boneless combos. Be ready to wait between 15-30 minutes depending what you order, because everything is made fresh! Soon after ordering, Chef Tony and his secret sauce had our taste buds tingling. The very distinct flavor of the mesquite smoke coupled with the depth of flavor from the spices used, simply was an other worldly experience. With each bite that I took, a gastronomic nirvana ensued that only a few dishes in my life have achieved. Each combo comes with grilled veggies and Shirazi Salad which are such fresh and cooling compliments to the heavy BBQ'd kabobs. Chef Tony really has his spice and grill game on point! Food is delicious. Best chicken thighs that we have ever eaten. People are warm and welcoming. Well worth the 75 mile round trip!

Prices were insane, but the portions made up for it. You can definitely feed two people on one combo. The kabobs were the star of the show, chicken being my favorite. They were out of the steak, unfortunately. Rice wasn't very flavorful, but mixed with the chicken sauces gave it the flavor it needed. I am glad I went and got it out of my system. Wow the food was just incredible! The staff was super friendly and very generous with the portions. Authentic little spot, order ahead, they sell out. By 3 pm on a Tuesday only the beef kabab was left. We were in the mood for chicken. The kabob was well seasoned with lovely fluffy long grain rice and charred tomatoes and green chilies (Serrano, I think) Great flavor they use mesquite wood. Decent portion sizes. Amazing food! They are so popular there are days they run out of food so first 2 times I tried they had run out cause everything is made fresh daily and i didn't order ahead, my fault. I was ready to give up, but the owner cared enough to call me and convince me to try again so happy I did. I've been an occasional customer for a couple of years now and I thought I'd finally leave a review and give recognition to establishments that do right by their customers. This place, while quite small is packed with huge flavor and huge personalities! Tony and his wife are always in a happy go getter welcoming mood and have always been accommodating. Every time I've walked in here to order food it feels more like I'm at their house being invited over for dinner than a restraunt and it's a very nice experience in a big city like Phoenix to have something like that. I personally prefer the chicken tenders, however everything on the menu I've tried has been amazing and absolutely unique. My 2nd favorite would have to the the pork ribs. The shirazi salad and chumichurri sauce pairs really well with the meats and is an extremely refreshing bite. There has been no other place like this that I have found in Arizona and I doubt there are many if any that compare around the U.S. I only wish I could come and eat more often however my work schedule is a bit awkward and doesn't allow me to visit much. I have brought coworkers and my girlfriend has brought her family here. Each and everyone of them was shocked on their very first bite and was amazed at just how flavorful everything was. My one coworker who is from Guam said it was the best thing he's ever had in his life and wanted to go back the next day and kept thinking about it. My girlfriends mother, after taking her first bite also had the same reaction and even went back in and had to order more food. She couldn't believe kebabs could be that good, and her and her husband have traveled across the country in their earlier days. She also said it was the best kebabs she'd ever had. This place has blown up, and rightfully so. A little part of me wishes it was still a well known secret for friends and family but I am ecstatic to see their business thriving and that they survived during covid. Stopped in while visiting Phoenix for a football game. Let me tell you the reviews for this place weren't lying. I met the owner who's customer service skills were beyond amazing. So kind , helpful and answered any and all questions I had. I ordered the beef koobideh combo which comes with rice , salad , roasted vegetables and dips . The meat was flavorful and juicy packed with flavor from the grill they use to grill the meats with outside it was phenomenal. He also gave me free drinks with my order. While waiting for my food he assisted taking food out for an elderly women who recently was discharged from the hospital showing how much he loves to serve others and constantly had a smile on his face. There is a wait while they grill all your meat to order since it's fresh but definitely worth it! The ambiance inside is a small location with limited seating inside and some outside. It's a small hole-in-the-wall place, in an unassuming strip mall right on 16th street. While the curb appeal is lacking, the interior is clean and tidy and the food is absolutely delicious. You'll know you've arrived by the aroma of charcoal smoke wafting out the back door into the parking lot. There isn't much room inside for eating on-site, with just a couple of bar stools available, so taking your meal to go is your best option. Everything is cooked to order so be sure to call ahead, like 30+ minutes. Once they run out of items for the day, that's it. Tony buys all his produce and meat daily so when it's gone, it's gone. We love the chicken thigh combo plate. It's a LOT of food so my husband and I split it and generally have enough leftovers for a third serving the next day. The chicken is cooked/marinated in something wonderful. I can't put my finger on the specific elements, but the flavor is epic. The combo plate comes with rice and grilled veggies. There are a couple of sauce options to add on the side, but honestly the chicken is juicy and flavorful as is. We've tried their beef kebabs as well, but nothing tops the chicken thighs.
