I really love the food here. I came and ordered Ty mixed shawarma (beef and chicken) plate with an extra pita. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and the ambiance is very laid back. The portion is very generous and the food has wonderful flavor. The meats are well seasoned and delicious, and the grilled onions that come on top take the taste over the top. Comes with a great salad (perfect with the yellow peppers) and a side of hummus. Come hungry!

my late uncle brought me here once and i remember especially enjoying the rice. haven't been here in years but decided to stop by. the flavors are still the same!! prices are steady and reflect those of even last year (which is rare these days). tender meat and good flavor, buttery and soft rice, and fresh vegetables in the salad. ordered #4 skewers kabob (3) and got one of each beef, lamb, and chicken. i enjoyed the lamb the most since it was the most tender and the seasonings fit that meat best. beef was a little tough for my liking but still had good flavor. chicken was chicken haha. the salad and hummus were sour but that's how i enjoy my things! salad seems to have the vinegar mix from the peppers. food flavor. could use some cheese but it works. good crunch from cucumbers and tomatoes. i only wish the bread was made in house. i got the mango lassi drink and it was just okay, wish it had more mango or yogurt flavor. i wanted to try salaam cola but didn't see it until i was on my way out (cans were turned away). it would also be nice to have drink prices posted somewhere. they have a cool selection like orangina (french), tazah, golden plate, and karoun. they even have a mint yogurt drink...interesting stuff. service was prompt and cashier was nice. it's pretty quiet and clean for the most part. some people will hate on the "outdated" look but i think it works. it is family-owned and they serve good food. their beautiful artwork and pictures/history is a plus! palestine and its people are beautiful...and its food is delicious!! overall, it was very filling and nice setting to eat in. will be back to try their desserts! they have so many to pick from.

While in Riverside, we stopped at lunch at the kebab house and for a small fast food restaurant this was pretty darn good. The meat was very tender. The hummus was excellent and it comes with a garlic sauce of some sort that really has a kick to it. The people there were all smiles, very nice, our food was brought to our table, and it was very enjoyable

It was my first time trying Kabob house and it did not disappoint. The employee at the register answered my questions on what was most popular. Very friendly service. I believe the food is made to order, so it is very fresh! The meat and chicken, both seasoned to perfection. And I mean it just has a good amount seasoning and spices nothing that I've tried at other Mediterranean places. I will definitely be going back again! Have to support a local business! Absolutely amazing

I absolutely love this place. I used to eat it weekly when I worked in Riverside. I haven't been for a several months and was please that the food was still as delicious as before. The service is amazing. It's a family owned restaurant. The ambiance is casual. I definitely suggest you try this place out if you're looking for Mediterranean food. I wish I lived closer. And please don't just my photo. I always order the chicken kabob plate with all salad and literally mix it all together with a side of tabbouleh. It's fire!

This is my go to spot whenever I'm in the area. The food is hands down the best and tastes homemade! The downside is that the restaurant looks a little run down, so make sure to manage expectations. For example, I would recommend taking your order to go (and avoid the restrooms, if you can). While the staff is busy, they always make time to greet you and answer any questions about their menu. We order the meat skewer plate that included hummus, salad and rice. Plus, a chicken shawarma wrap. The portions of the plate were so big, we had a second helping in the evening. We of course had to finish with two orders of baklava.

Excellent Quality, Service and Taste. My parents have been going to Kabob House for years and love the Beef Kafta & Lamb Kabob Plates. My husband and I love the Chicken/Falafel Kabob plate and Chicken Shawarma Fries. I highly recommend the Falafel and Chicken Shawarma Fries. The fries have an amazing sauce that works so well. For 3 Plates and one order of fries, the total was $75 but well worth the price because we usually have leftovers. I would recommend this Authentic Mediterranean to anyone. Best in the Inland Empire.

Chicken was ok but beef was barely cooked and over seasoned with pepper. Not one to go out of my way to give a bad review especially one that has mostly high reviews but also don't want someone getting sick so just be careful. Maybe I just went there on an off day.

It's a cute cozy dine In or even a side patio location set in the heart of Riverside. I have drove past this location so many times and glad I finally stopped in. I was greeted right away. Tables and seats clean. My order took a good 15mins but it's because everything was fresh and hot. I had the Chicken Kabob plate. The chicken was sooo good and had a nice tang to it. The rice, fluffy! The hummus was creamy! Tabbouleh , ugh, I loved it and it was especially good with the small pieces of pickle! The side salad made my moth water!!! And the pita delicious. The portion was so good for the price! I took half home and had it for lunch the next day and ugh, everything still go good! Needless to say, I'll be back!

Best Arabic food ever! We've tried all middle Eastern foods in the area and I will pick this place hands down every time. The food is just great, the service is amazing and the ambiance is relaxing. It's not fast food so don't expect to get your order in 2 seconds. It's definitely worth the wait. The hummus is great, the shawarma is amazing and ofcourse the kabobs!

I would eat this every day, lamb was so tasty!

A little disappointed. Stopped in tonight for dinner. Ordered chicken shawarma plate, chicken rotisserie plate and beef shawarma fries. The humus was not my favorite and the garlic sauce was mostly spicy. The chicken had a "unique" flavor I can't say I have encountered at other restaurants and don't think I would order it again. The beef had a more traditional taste. The rotisserie chicken was about average and the rice was alright. read more

My brother introduced me to this place and I'm so happy he did because it's great. The taste is really to my liking. I've had the kabob plate, the shawarma plate, and shawarma fries and they were all good. The seasoning/marinade or whatever is so tasty, it always leaves me satisfied. The hummus is great, and their pita is soft and moist. The salad dressing could have a little more tang to it but that's just a minor thing. Definitely give this place a try if you like Mediterranean food. read more

Moved out here to riverside about 2 years ago, and this place has been my go-to for some of the best Mediterranean style food out here. Customer service is always friendly, prices are great for the kind of fresh food they serve. I recommend the lamb and chicken skewer plate, something about that rice will have you asking for more but the portions are plentiful so no need lol. Definitely a great spot! read more

I work nearby, yet had never been until today. My sister met me for lunch, and we shared the chicken Shawarma plate. We asked for double salad instead of rice and salad. The salad was very tasty. The dressing was a great blend of lemon, olive oil, and herbs. The chicken was fantastic!!Very tender and flavorful. The hummus was good, as was the garlic sauce. The plate served both of us just fine. Can't wait to go back and try something else read more

Absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!! This is my first time here, so I took the time to get to know the owner and his wife who are the ones running the show. You know it's good when the owner is the one cooking the food. I watched every step he took as he prepared my meal, and I will tell you this place is the real deal. They have a simple menu with many types of Kabob, and rotisserie chicken. In other words Mediterranean barbecue. The kabobs were fresh, seasoned perfectly and juicy. The hummus was made to Perfection with a hint of garlic and cumin. The sides we're clearly fresh. The bread was warm and fluffy. When it comes to Mediterranean barbecue, this husband-and-wife team are doing it right. I will stake my reputation on this review. Kabob House is the real deal. read more

A great place for kabobs and falafels. I'm a vegetarian and love the falafel sandwich and the plain fries are great. I never knew someone could make big, fat fries still be crispy on the outside. Best Mediterranean place in the Inland Empire and trust me I've been to most. The owners are very nice and the atmosphere is friendly. Dining area is big and clean. I for as good and as fresh as the food is made here, it is prepared quickly and hot to your me table. The portions are big and I could never finish a plate. First off I want to say it is family owned and you can instantly feel the warm welcome as you walk in. My family always orders the #4 (2 skewers kabob plate) the meat is so tender and juicy and the rice just melts in your mouth! I personally love their chicken kabob salad because it fresh and has hints of lemon which is my fav. Our family comes at least twice a month. I love coming here. All the food, they have to offer is so good!!! There did is Halal and taste so good and juicy. Beat Kabobs in Riverside! Fresh and not dry with healthy amount of rice that is done to perfection. I do wish they added a bit more hummus to their platters as it is great. Only complaint is the hummus bread is a bit drier then others I have had and could be fresher. I am being very picky here , the food is great! read more

Overall, it was still a fairly good meal. I would suggest making or buying better pita bread. I would be willing to try it again because the meat was delicious and I'd get hummus instead of the cucumber yogurt.

Some of the best food I've ever tasted have been from little, inconspicuous "mom & pop shops". A great example is the Kabob House. Located in a small retail center, this tiny, family-run restaurant makes some of the best Middle Eastern dishes in Riverside. You order at the counter and if you're lucky, one of the 6 or 7 tables inside are available for dining. There are an additional 4 tables outside, but it gets damn hot during the middle of the day. I recommend the 3 Skewers Kabob Combo Plate, so you can sample all three of the meats kabobs; beef, chicken and lamb. The lamb is my favorite, perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The plate comes with traditional sides of rice, marinated onions/tomatoes, pita bread, hummus and yogurt sauce. I think the plates are the best way to order but if you prefer, you can opt for the wraps with your favorite meats. The atmosphere is nothing impressive, but the food is outstanding! read more

I understand that restaurants can have off nights, and I generally try to be understanding. However, with an almost empty dining room, the long wait, serving later-arriving customers first, poor communication, and disappointing food quality, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the service and the food quality.

The pizza itself is absolutely delicious--loaded with flavorful toppings, perfectly baked crust, and incredible taste in every bite. Beyond the amazing food, the service here is top-notch. Firstly, the restaurant itself is cozy and there are a limited amount of seats. The better option is ordering take out. Their pizza is made to order, so it can take about 30 mins to get one pizza out. That being said I highly recommend calling ahead to order. I get their Surpreme pizza. It is absolutely loaded with meats (halal) and veggies. I am yet to try their subs. Perhaps next visit. If you're in the area then please do stop by Slice N Sub!
