I came here with my family and I'll be honest - we were super surprised!!! We had a great meal and believed this place to be pretty authentic. They have a lot of options, including seafood and lamb (which I wouldn't expect). We ordered the Dukes's platter which came with 4 kabobs, rice, salad, freshly made pita (I literally saw him cook it) and appetizer. We also got the ghormeh sabzi, which came with rice and pita. Happy we have a high-quality persian food spot in our local neighborhood finally. We got the beef shish kabob and koobideh plate. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious and juicy. Rice was on point and we loved the fresh naan style bread make with the traditional clay pit oven which we saw the owner make for us fresh by taking dough, rolling it and placing in the oven. Overall great experience, the young owner was a gentleman and very warm and welcoming and didn't mind answering any questions. Went on Sunday 4/27/24. Mr and my friend ordered one skewer each of beef kabob. We were told we were not allowed to eat at the restaurant since we ordered one skewer each for a total of $21. Had to wait about 15 minutes and told we could not dine in yet the whole restaurant was empty!!! I complained to the tall skinny guy but he said those were the rules. BS!!! Dried kabob is not pleasant to eat. They charge quite big for their dishes in compare to other similar restaurants so better the quality of the food be as good as customers expectation. The portions are small for the to go orders not sure if it's the same for the dine in. If you want to set the standard quality kabob bar you can measure any of those kabob places to Raffi's in Glendale, that's the best! read more

We ordered take out- chicken shish kabob, koubideh and house salad. The look and the smell had authenticity all over it. One bite of the koubideh and I was in heaven. It was juicy, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was also tasty and very tender. The salad was fresh with a nice vinaigrette.
