Although they have food and juices that look really good, I only tried the espresso. It was bold and smooth. Good atmosphere for catching up with friends. Too dim to do any studying, plus there are no outlets to be found unless you're downstairs by the bathroom. Cute little sheep designs everywhere. Yes, I live in Houston now but as a native New Yorker and caffeine junky, I know my coffee. I rarely ventured to Tribeca when living in NYC but made daily trips here during a recent trip back while staying at The Conrad. GREAT coffee but expensive even for NY prices. But alas, its worth it. My last day there, they asked me if I had my coffee card with me....wish they'd mention this earlier as I'd have easily earned that free cup (which always tastes the best). They also offer fresh pressed juices. I cant remember which brand but they looked fresh and awesome. Anyway, if you're in the area, definitely check it out! read more

How can I not like kaffe 1668? I discovered this coffee place in 2012, and became addicted to their coffee. I usually came in in the morning and read a little bit before my class. I like their staff and beverages. It's a very cozy place during the winter, get a cup of coffee of the day and sit quiet. I came here almost everyday. A lot of good memories and when collect certain points you get a free beverage. I like their latte too especially soy latte. Missed this place a lot! read more

I have to admit, this place has some of the best coffee that I've had in NYC, but the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Who has 15-20 minutes to wait for an espresso for take out? The line is always like this, and people stand around inside at the tables where others are trying to work. This cafe is so cute. Whenever I'm in TriBeCa I stop in here. They single brew their coffee which a lot of places don't do. It's a nice quaint little place where I can sit and read a book or just have a nice conversation over coffee with someone. read more

Great atmosphere! The downstairs is cooler (in temp and less people) the wifi is amazingly fat. The coffee has that Blue Bottle taste which in not a fan of so I'm kind of on the fence about being a regular. Time will tell. read more

Last time I went there wasn't quite the space to sit that there used to be. And it is AWFULLY full of men in Business shirts and suits. Before the suits discovered the place, it was pretty cool. One of my favorite coffee places in New York. Very modern, slightly hipster feel to it. Tongue in cheek comic squares on the walls give it some great character. Not as cozy as your neighborhood cafe, and a bit dark, but still a great place to get work done or catch up with a friend. Very spacious with seats available on the main floor and the basement. Coffee is excellent quality, in the $3-5 per cup range for the international brews. This is a bright spot in the middle of stroller land Tribeca, it is easily accessible via the 1 train. We need more places like this in New York. read more

This was a convenient coffee shop I stumbled upon while searching for a study spot between classes. The coffee was tasty, but the treats must have been phenomenal because they were all gone by the time I arrived. The space itself is somewhat inviting, not overly cozy, but the communal tables make it easy to get work done. Also, there is extra space downstairs with more communal table space for working. I did notice that when it gets a bit packed, it gets very noisy. One thing that kept throwing me off every time I looked up, was the massive television playing some random network. It didn't really mesh well with the vibe or the music, it was more or less distracting and bothersome. read more

Yawn. Stopped in yesterday, guy who took order was nice. Spent no less than 10 minutes looking for any sort of creamer, 1/2 and 1/2 that was not skim milk. By the time, he found it, we had to reorder our coffees as they were cold. They could have cared less.
