We stopped in to have a quick bite after doing some shopping around Garden City. After reviewing their menu online, I knew I wanted to try a few brunch items. When we arrived, the place was packed (it's very small) and there weren't any seats available, so we opted to place a to go order instead of waiting for a table to open up. The person at the register recommended that we try the BLAT breakfast sandwich because it was popular and holds up well packed as a to go order. She also recommended the truffle potatoes as a side, so we placed an order for that as well. We took advantage of their holiday beverage menu and I enjoyed an amaretto gingerbread iced latte while we waited for our to go order. I really wanted to love this place. It's cute and the decor is nice. The server was friendly, but it just felt inefficient and disorganized. I want to chalk it up to it being a new spot, but for the amount of money I spent on breakfast. I expect a stellar experience, including amazing food and service and it just did not deliver. I like the drinks! Can be a bit loud so definitely hard to do any work there if you're looking to concentrate. Service is alright sometimes I can't tell who is working where or what so it's a struggle trying to figure who to order from etc. They're running around in all directions. To start with we had a reservation a month ago for a party of 9 and when my friend got there and told the staff about it she was told they didn't have our reservation that my friend made a month ago and had to specifically talk to the manager about because it was a big party. The place is really cute inside but SUPER SMALL for groups of 2-3 people it would be ok anything more than that will be way too crowded because we got sat right next to the bathroom which was terrible when people are coming in and out of the bathroom. I recommend coming here for takeout and drinks but I wouldn't dine in because it's just so small there's no room and you feel so crowded! Which really sucks because their food is fresh so I would want to eat it there instead of doing takeout. The price of the food is definitely on the pricey side and not super big portions but aside from that everything that I had gotten was phenomenal. Kaffeology was a wonderful lunchtime experience. I started with a matcha and added banana flavoring which was not too sweet and packed excellent flavor. For food, the Salmon bowl did not did not disappoint and the fish was cooked perfectly. There was a good assortment of veggies within the bowl too. Additionally, the caprese sandwich (I added grilled chicken to mine) was great aswell. It had a yummy balsamic dressing and the chicken was flavorful. Staff were very nice to us and managed to fit us in at the bar even thought the cafe was full! Overall, a really cool spot with cute decor but it is small! read more

I knew the second this place opened I'd love it. The aesthetic is unmatched, unlike any cafe in RI. The iced latte menu is a coffee lovers DREAM- especially the orange cardamom (my go to!) I went in today hoping for the shakshuka which they sadly took off their menu (it was also a favorite of mine) but instead shared the chimichurri steak with the eggs. It was incredibly flavorful and absolutely to die for. I cannot get over how good this was. We can't wait to come back and have this again... please don't take this off the menu! The cafe is very chic and cute. I tried a crème brûlée latte and it was SO delicious! I'll definitely be back to try other lattes here and it'll be my go-to coffee spot in Garden City. Cute little cafe with unique coffee options. On my last visit I tried the seasonal carrot cake latte & the lemon drop latte and both were delicious. You also cannot go wrong with the creme brulee latte or strawberry matcha. I've only been to the to-go counter to pick up a quick drink, but they also serve brunch and alcoholic beverages. There is not a whole lot of space for seating & its usually busy when I stop in, so I'd imagine there could be a bit of a wait at peak times. The food always looks great and I definitely plan to stop in for brunch one day. read more

The food itself is ok but definitely not worth the price at all. Small portions of food range with absurd prices. The area itself is very small, very loud, and all the chairs are right next to each other. You can hear everyone's conversations as if they were in your ear. A small portion of tomato soup about 7 oz was almost 10 dollars. The woman serving us was kind but besides that I didn't have a good time. Perfect brunch spot located in Garden City. Expansive selection of beverages including coffee, lattes, matcha, and spirits! The brunch menu is impressive. Went on Saturday around noon and it was packed with a wait. Beautiful interior space is small and in high demand. But, outdoor seating is available if it is nice out. Had chimichurri steak with over easy eggs. It was delicious! Acai bowl was a nice size for the value. Was looking forward to blueberries, but fruit selection may vary. Tasted bits of the salmon platter and really like the cream cheese with oil on top. It was like a flavorful dip. Tiramisu was my liquid dessert. The rich cream foam was excellent and not sparing any calories. Everything was so good and we wanted to try other items on the menu. The owner stopped by and was so nice. My husband and I love exploring new coffee places around R.I. We came here today for take out coffees- we will not be back. $15.12 for medium iced caramel cold brew and a medium iced cinnamon honey latte (with almond milk). While coffee and lattes have becoming insanely expensive in this state- this has to be THE WORST! Please look at the sizes of the mediums: In what world is this a medium?! This location is absolutely adorable and cozy with an adorable sitting area and a full bar! We got breakfast sandwiches and they were beyond what we expected... the blt with avocado and a sriracha aioli. Chefs kiss! The girl at the counter was so so sweet. Looking for a -1 star I'm in the service industry for 35 yrs Absolutely the worst service I've ever had & I go out for a Meal almost every day. The service was slow, the server (manager) was rude. The order came out slow and then cold. When addressed there was no butter with the cold toast she screamed at me in front of the whole dining area and told me I was rude an to leave! I just started working in Garden City and this place is AMAZING and a complete god send to a picky eater like me. There are plenty of vegetarian friendly options w lots of flavor. You can easily sub out egg whites and you can order ahead and pick it up. I haven't had a chance to sit and eat but the to go ordering is fairly smooth. The restaurant is a small footprint though so if you pick up sometimes you'll feel like you're in the way but thats not really anyone's fault. All the ladies that work there are SOOO nice! Regardless of the size, I've loved every meal I've had especially the breakfast burrito and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I also like that they have specialty drinks that aren't coffee because I don't drink coffee. Apple Pie Chai is insaneeee. And I love chatting with the servers they're all so friendly and quick with my orders. read more

I had a delicious pumpkin creme brulee latte at the Cranston RI location, Staff was friendly and service was fast. My only complaint was that the large latte wasn't larger. With the ice taking up space, the actual latte was a bit small. It was gone way too fast. Very yummy, We did not have a food but what we saw looked very good. The setting is ok. It's tucked away in a corner of an outdoor mall and the inside is ok looking. Will definite go back again when in the area and maybe order 2 latte. read more

The ambience of this place is so cute!! It's so thought out and makes me feel like I'm in Arizona or Palm Springs. We got the steak and eggs and man was it yummy. The potatoes were like the most perfect breakfast potatoes I've ever had (not to be dramatic or anything). I feel like my husband and I licked our plates! I am leaving my original five star review below because I was at one point a huge supporter of this place. Last night I placed a takeout order for our family. First of all the guy who answered the phone rudely said "What!?" when I asked to place a takeout order and someone pulled the phone away from him to take the call. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, there was only two people there and we had to wait over an hour for our food. That was an hour of standing there like idiots waiting for dinner. At the one hour mark we wanted to just get our money back and leave because it was getting too late to eat dinner. The final icing on the cake is that we all woke up with food poisoning today. The chicken must have been off because we all have what feels like low level salmonella symptoms. I am absolutely done with this place and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I used to put in a take out order every time I was in Rhode Island and I am totally done now. --- Old review: The food here is amazing. I've ordered takeout here more times than I can count. My husband and I tried your establishment on 6.2.24 and were very pleased with the food. We dined in. We found it loud, busy and small for the size of the crowd it attracts but thought we would try again later since the food was good. During that visit we noted a female with enormous eyelashes saying to everyone, "we are still working things out but we will get there." My daughter came to visit on 6.9 & we brought her there for breakfast. It was early and rain was threatening. We said we would try sitting outside, with our server stating that if it started raining, they would make us next in line to be seated. When it started to rain, we went inside expecting to be seated next but that did not happen.We watched the server seat a party that came in after we did.   We were standing just inside the door and someone came to ask us to stand by the beverage window, where we were constantly in the way. We had already ordered; I eventually asked for the food in to go containers. They brought our drinks, in glass. It's not like we could leave with our drinks at that point without asking to have them put into to-go containers. It was hard enough to get anyone's attention. My daughter's drink came out the wrong size (and it later turned out it was the wrong drink, also). When she originally ordered her drink, the server asked if she wanted the large. She said sure. It was later explained that only to-go orders could be fulfilled in large. My daughter never asked for a large, the server offered it.  My husband's tolerance for this type of chaos is low. He also did not feel that the issues were being appropriately addressed, so wanted to leave. About that time our food was coming out. We weren't sure where we were expected to eat it because we had yet to be seated. At this point my husband didn't even want his drink. He was so annoyed with the lack of common sense and service being displayed, he just wanted to leave and never come back. Someone left their bar seats as this was going on and I asked if we could have those seats. We were begrudgingly told yes and staff started clearing the bar. The lady who originally told us she would seat us came over to make excuses for why she didn't seat us as promised. Our food was cold and had to be remade. It took a great deal of convincing for my husband not to take his and go to the car to eat. Many staff came at us while we were at the bar. It was confusing, chaotic and none of their "stories" matched.  So many "final straws" happened after we were seated (we had hoped it would improve at that point). My daughter's drink was not the drink she had asked for. Her french toast was a SINGLE slice of toast. My husband ordered the same dish he had the week prior. He is a picky eater and he had enjoyed it so he wanted to stick with it. It didn't even look like the same dish. When we commented on this, the staff said,  yeah, we're out of some of the ingredients, so we subbed out. We were NEVER informed that it would not be as described on the menu. I ordered shakshuka. As I was eating it my daughter said, Mom , there's a hair in your food. I had already put fork to mouth by the time I realized what she was saying because it's so loud in there. I picked up another forkful of food and my daughter said, Mom there is another hair in your food!! I started pulling my fork up. The hair was so long and so enmeshed in my food that it had food around a knot in the hair. The staff tried to suggest that this was my hair and I just looked at them. My hair is only shoulder length, light brown and curly. This hair was darker than mine, straight and VERY long.  The lady with the humongous eyelashes (in a food establishment, really?!?) "graciously" took the shakshuka off our bill. I was so floored by the total lack of understanding regarding our experience that I just said, you know, I never do this but I am not leaving a tip. I generally pay the full bill and tip even when service is sub par but I just couldn't. Our whole bill should have been comped and the apologies should have been profuse. read more

Overall everything we ordered was great, taste wise. A few mistakes: one food item was ordered GF and brought out with bread. Food came to the table at scattered times. Drinks didn't get delivered until 45 minutes in. Overall, I think this is a great spot for brunch or maybe just a drink and a small plate. But not my fav spot for dinner and will not likely be returning to have my meal here. Ambiance was interesting... wish they had better music and the lighting was lower for the dinner hour. We were sat by the restroom and the workers were in and out every 5 minutes. Our waitress was kind and worked with us but they seemed understaffed. I stopped by Kaffeology for the first time ever as part of the RI Food Fights Breakfast Sandwich event. It is located in Garden City, right across from where the Applebee's used to be. It is a small cafe so I expect most people grab their food/drinks to go, like I did. The sandwich being offered for the contest was a breakfast BLT. I got that along with their home fries.
