Came here the last day of my trip for breakfast and was SO happy I did. Firstly, the little mugs and candles and cookbooks along the wall to buy are so cute and nice to look at while waiting in line. There is a large menu (located on the wall by the door!) with a bunch of diff breakfast and lunch options. I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, and the avocado toast (without balsamic). The coffees were delicious as well. My bf and I decided to try the chaggachino and were pleasantly surprised how good it was bc of the mushroom in it (you can't really taste any mushroom tho). The milky way latte was of course amazing as well. I would highly recommend this coffee shop!! read more

While we had minimal expectations on an amazing cup of coffee, but for $24 (for 2 coffees) we expected more than flavored water. Truly worst coffee I've ever had and the storefront seemed to be having some issues(out of food, out of cold brew). We went to the location in Portsmouth, RI on our way to the Rail Explorers (it was a 3-min drive). The cafe has a very cozy and cute vibe. Very mediocre. Vibes inside were cluttered and there is barely any seating. Service was average. We got the maple sausage breakfast sandwich. It was tasty but nothing special. I've been here many times before and I come because the food is good and I particularly like the greek lemon chicken bowl. Today I went and ordered the same thing, and it took 45 minutes for the food to come out, and when it did there was no Greek yogurt or cucumbers on my bowl. So, I brought it up and explained that and the cashier said "oh sorry" so I thought they were going to just add it , no problem. But then the chef from the back brought it back to me with still no yogurt or cucumbers and said "we don't have cucumbers that's why I didn't add them" and so we left. You're supposed to disclose before a customer orders something that you don't have the ingredients for the meal. 2 stars. read more

While the prices are expensive, the speciality drinks make it all the while worth it. They have a small area for seating inside the well decorated coffee shop. read more

Visited Newport and stopped by this cute little place. I loved the inside of the store. It was very quaint and I was excited by the menu! I will say I was excited to order and unfortunately based on the season and the fact it was a weekend they were out of a lot. My friend and I both had to pick something different than our original order and it was still pretty dang good. I ended up getting a dirty chai and it was one of the best I've had in awhile! My friend got a vanilla latte with oat milk which she rated a solid 4/5. I do hope to make it back to get a better sense of this cafe in its full glory. Besides that, the barista who made our drinks was the bomb. She made the experience so much better, actually engaging us and making us feel welcomed. 10/10 for customer service! read more

My sister and I saw Kaffeology one evening after we left dinner. We made a mental note to not overly caffeinate ourselves after brunch the next day so we could pay a visit. Upon arrival, we were pleased with how exciting their menu was. So many delicious coffee, tea, and non caffeinated beverages. It was a hard choice to make but I was craving tea so I ordered a non-caffeinated ginger tea and my sister got a fun iced coffee creation. I really liked the way the place was decorated and how clean and organized everything was. They probably needed a few extra people because the service was slow, which wasn't anyone's fault because there was only one girl working. Otherwise, it's a great stop if you need a delicious beverage while shopping in the downtown Newport area. read more

Cons- Soft opening so still a bit disorganized, not bad, just a bit. Pros- delicious food ! My decaf no fat latte was excellent. My husband had avocado toast which was great. I had eggs over medium with whipped feta and tomato jam- so very good! Server was super nice and attentive even though it was a busy Saturday morning. We look forward to going again soon! We love this place and would give it 5 stars, but holy moly is it always SCALDING HOT INSIDE. I'm referring to the air temperature not the coffee or food. Both locations always have the heat blasting no matter what time of the year, making it unbearable to stay inside even when waiting for your order to go. I can verify that we aren't the only ones who notice the hot temperatures inside because everyone was verbally agreeing under their breaths today. This was my first time coming here per suggestion of a local business down the street. I was craving a milkshake, but by the time I parked and walked over, It was 5 minutes before they were closing! The young lady was happy to greet me and ensured I was not bothering her by coming in before they closed. Iced Americano, is what I ordered 2 days in a row. It's simple, good. Day 3, decided to order breakfast. I was super unimpressed. The signature breakfast sandwich and the biscuit sando looked like something you'd get from McDonalds. They ran out of biscuits so they made the biscuit sando with a croissant which was really fluffy and good. The staff was also super nice and gave me a lil mini biscuit that they had already made. My friends got the The Newporter and that looked amazing. I'd come back to try the Newporter. The interior decor is super cute and I love that it's a woman-owner establishment, cheers to that! read more

This was one of my favorite coffee spots in RI. The staff were really nice and made great recommendations. The salmon bagel was so perfect! Everything about it tasted super fresh. Portion was incredible, too. Half will do for brekkie, but the whole is more than enough for lunch. Their coffee and lattes were perfectly crafted and delicious! The kale, chicken and sweet potato was super great, coming from someone who is more of a spinach fan. Don't like kale much but I'd still recommend. They have great merch and the cinnamon buns and baked goods were all really tasty and fresh. We pre-planned to have lunch here since we visited in 2023 and really enjoyed the vibe. I had the Caprese on ciabatta and Hibiscus Lavender ice tea. The Caprese was SO GOOD! I must have said it 5 times. The young woman next to me kept looking to see what I was raving about. The blend of Mozzarella, tomato and pesto was perfect. And the ciabatta was soft and delicious. The Hibiscus Lavender ice tea was wonderful on a blistering hot day - so good, I went back the next day to have another. The wait staff was nice and patient with us while we decided our orders and made recommendations we liked. Delicious food, sweet room. It's a small place - I hope it takes off - it should. First Visit Review - Portsmouth location It was morning so we did not go for one of those fancy milkshakes for which we will return. We did have a delicious lavender latte and they very yummy Downeast cold brew topped with caramel cold foam . We also tried the avo sweet potato toast which was truly a hearty meal with all the fresh toppings. My one critique is the sweet potato cubes were pretty singed and seared sweet potato detracted from what would be a five star avo toast. Delicious coffee and good dessert options. However a snooty lady at the counter. Her assistant was however very nice and warm. Maybe she was trying to make up for her Co worker's attitude. We ordered 3 cappuccinos and 3 desserts ( coffee cake, banana muffin and a brownie) actually my friend ordered 3 desserts in error, I didnt want to have a dessert. So when we got our dessert (inside individual packets) I went to request the lady at the counter if she could take one dessert back which was inside a packet. She refused with a rude tone saying you have touched the dessert (which was inside a packet) It was a bit embarrassing not coz of her not taking it back (I undertand it's not possible for restaurants sometimes too) but her tone was degrading as if I am some untouchable who touched the packet and now dessert is spoilt. Also I don't undertand how me touching the packet makes the dessert inside it impure, whereas the same packet was handed over to me by the cafe staff, they touched it too. I mean there is a way in service industry to politely say no or give a decent reason. Calling someone out in front of other customers is downright crassy. Really wanted to like this cute little coffee shop nestled in all the shops on Thames street but....online ordering is available,yay! Place my order,prepay by credit card and receive my email that it will be ready in twenty minutes,perfect. This coffee shop recently opened and located on lower Thames, not far from The Red Parrot. The husband and I had gone on a walk with our baby and noticed this new coffee shop was open so we decided to check it out as we always like stumbling upon new establishments. My husband got a coffee while I tried one of their milkshakes as they don't have decaf at the moment. Their shakes are around $11 so there was a bit of sticker shock but once I tried it, I wasn't so upset about it. I got the S'mores milkshake that was chocolate-based and was topped with an actual s'more and toasted marshmallows; it was a work of art and almost didn't want to eat it since the presentation was amazing! It had been a few years since I last had s'mores and brought me back to s'mores by the campfire as a kid. Hubby had no complaints on the coffee either; they use a medium-dark roast coffee that's roasted out of Boston and he was pleasantly surprised. We usually walk a bit further down the road for good coffee but once they have decaf, something tells me we'll be hitting this place up more often. read more
