Though I wanted to try ALL of them, I unfortunatelt couldn't but I was definitely being called to the Apple Turnover the most and BOY it did not disappoint at all! It was so perfectly baked with the perfect amount of apples and not too sweet. My friend had the Egg Basket (phone did not eat first) which was a 5/5 review for her and the Oatmeal Raisin cookie which also got a 5/5 review with a comment of "being hearty!" Everything felt very rushed, and there wasn't really time to stop, look at the menu, or figure out what you wanted without feeling pressured to keep moving. While the bakery items came out quickly, we still ended up waiting about 30 minutes after checkout for the rest of the food. The atmosphere was also incredibly loud, and there seemed to be confusion among staff about whose order belonged to who and what name matched which ticket. On top of that, the trash area was piled high, and instead of changing it right away, an employee brought out a new bag and just set it in front of the overflowing trash, which wasn't the best look. Overall: good food, disappointing experience. Felt chaotic and stressful rather than enjoyable.

There's no comparison. It is the BEST coffee I've ever had! I ordered a Cortado (espresso cut with milk), and it was made to perfection. It was creamy - almost like drinking a dessert. The espresso was equal as good. Not a hint of bitterness. I also had a biscotti, which it too was the best I've ever tasted (I was told they're made right there on-site). I got a canolli and sfogliatella.. It's the only spot I found in town with Italian treats you can pickup and go. The canolli was really tasty but it was very small and very expensive. The sfogliatella matched the taste and quality of those I had in Napoli, Italy. It was expensive though. The spot has a pleasant sitting area that's functional but not necessarily cute to sit in and relax. Not much to look at inside. Overall a spot to get your Italian fix if you feel like paying the prices. It does have a great selection of cheeses, meats, and Italian goods which admittedly I didn't try. It's a slightly expensive spot even for Newport which is already an expensive town to eat in.
