Amazing vibes and definitely something that we will be returning too. Didn't have a chance to try the food, but the kava shots were good!

The food is very similar to Pacific Seas restaurant located in Salt Lake City. They were out of a couple of items like desserts, but everything else was available even after the big mad rush. Not of a big fan of nitrite infested corned beef for health related issues. Most companies use it as a preservative and has a very strong salty flavor. I love the natural taste of meats and avoid nitrites/nitrates and MSG as much as possible. Off my soapbox. Anyway the lamb curry was full of mostly meat and very little potatoes and had a delicate balance of curry flavor that didn't overpower it, the lupulu made with coconut milk and taro leaves was excellent and so creamy, the turkey tails had a nice bbq flavor to them, the chop suey was made with glass noodles and was great, the Oka which is raw fish and cooked shrimp in coconut milk was great. The dessert was called puligi (A Samoan creation) and was made with a custard and a spiced cake. Perfect way to end a great meal! Can't wait to return and try the other 2 desserts.

I've never had smoked corned beef (fasi povi) but the flavor/texture was amazing! Sooo good and worth the drive to have some bomb corned beef! Their staff is friendly and efficient and even came around to ask how the food was afterwards. Their Apple otai was also very refreshing and tasty! Would definitely come back again.

It's crispy, sweet, savory, and this one is the star of the show! I've also had the galbi, katsu, and lemon pepper chicken, and while you can find these in a lot of places, it's also great from Island Grinds. The portions are large and are a good value. I tend to get the three meat combos for two people, but I think the $6 combo is cheap and perfect for solo dining!

Willing to answer our question and got to making our order immediately. Our mini special came with a drink but their ice machine is broken so no ice w/ our soda! The boys did say they only have ice at lunch time !! Wish they had said something about no ice situation! The restaurant could use a good cleaning both tables & floors - next time we'll do take out! It's really too bad more care isn't done to keep this place clean as their food has a ton of potential. Really the food is worth the wait - Mac salad was tasty and served cold - chicken teriyaki is really one of the best - chicken katsu was also freshly fried and served juicy and crispy ! Rice was perfectly cooked. No prices on the menu so not sure what anything cost ! I really wish the owners would take better care of this place since it's got a ton of potential.

We are originally from Hawaii and for a place portraying Hawaiian/Polynesian food and culture we sure didn't feel the "Aloha Spirit". Their customer service was severely lacking! Then the food - we ordered the 2 meat combo plate with the garlic chicken and kalua pig, rice, mac, and sapa sui. Also, the Katsu with fries, guava cake, and mango otai. The otai and the guava cake were decent. The Katsu was cooked well, but lacked crunch. The garlic chicken and kalua pig were so dry and tasted bland. The Mac salad lacked flavor also, the sapa sui was just okay. Overall, just super disappointed in the food. We've heard about them through reels claiming they were really good. We always try to support local, especially the poly community here in Utah but our experience just wasn't the greatest. They claim to be serving "island love" but we just didn't feel it, if you decide to try them, hopefully you have a better experience.
