I am always greeted with care and warmth whenever I am dropping off my business attire and have never been disappointed. The only downside to this location is that it's always congested. I'm not a fan of visiting Ala Moana mall so if you come to this location , I'd make a trip out of it. Get a bite to eat, do some shopping and maybe run around Ala Moana park.

Without going to specifics, I dropped off a mix of items (dress shirts, suits, and pleated…read moretrousers), totaling about 8. I paid just under $100 for the full prepaid service. I only requested for the standard dry cleaning. When I retrieved my garments, unfortunately , I found stains still present on some of the items and they were wrinkled. Most disappointing was discovering that none of the creases on my suit trousers and suit-separate trousers were pressed correctly. To loosely quote another review left for this establishment: they managed to remove existing creases and press new creases where they did not previously exist. The front creases did not line up with the pleats that are a fixture on all of my trousers. One more disappointing discovery was that they had managed to break ALL of the buttons on one of my trousers, including the replacement buttons attached to an inside tag. The Manager, Isaac who is professional and accommodating, offered to take my trousers and shirt back to redo free of charge. On this second service the stains were definitely gone, as were the wrinkles, however none of the creases on my trousers were pressed correctly yet again despite Isaac leaving specific instructions for the cleaners to provide extra care to this area. As I discussed with Isaac, I expected a dry cleaner to be able to perform the most basic and standard action of pressing trousers, but it's really no one's fault but my own for expecting Hawai'i to be able to perform to that standard. On a more positive note, I was able to procure the exact button replacement for my trouser with the broken buttons by personally flying to Japan and receiving them from the owner of the brand after meeting with him in person. Isaac offered to sew the button back on free of charge. I'd like to end on one more positive note and that would be the fact that all of the staff I had the pleasure of meeting throughout this process were all decent people who gave me the warmest possible local service and truly embodied the spirit of Aloha befitting of the business's name. Aloha Dry Cleaner's customer service was something I have absolutely nothing but the best to say about. TL;DR: I encountered disappointingly low quality of work but worked with great people.

Linh's Alterations was highly recommended, so let's give it a try! I knew where this place was as it has been at the same location along Ke'eaumoku St, between Kinau and Beretania and next to Mai Lan Vietnamese restaurant for decades! There's dedicated parking stalls on the side of the building, in the same lot as the Texaco gas station. Look for the Keeaumoku Pawn / Linh's Alteration sign. It's the same place! But it's definitely more so an alteration place than pawn shop. My wife has been here several times for repairs and alterations. This time I needed repairs! One of my newer Aloha Shirts had a seam splitting after just two washes, and it was all sold out at stores and online, so I wasn't able to exchange! The inside was clean and spacious. Linh was very friendly, nice, and an excellent listener. She definitely has very sharp eyes. Also, she is quite efficient! My shirt was finished in just a couple of days. Shirt was clean, neatly folded, and stitched very nicely. It was $15 plus tax, which was definitely reasonable. It wasn't a big area and it might've been a "simple" fix. Overall, I was happy with my shirt and the whole process, and will definitely bring any clothes that need repairs or alterations to Linh's! It's not a surprise she is contracted and trusted by several high to mid luxury brands. Location is convenient and parking is free and available.

The hems are clean, consistent, and exactly how I want them every time. Helpful tip: if you already know your inseam (and it's accurate), checkout goes much faster. Turnaround is quick too. My alterations are usually ready within a couple of days. I've been in when they're busy with things like prom dress alterations, so they clearly handle a wide range of alterations. Parking can be tricky, but I've been lucky so far, knock on wood. Will definitely keep coming back.
