The meat cuts are all great quality, the four sauces were good too, they give plenty different banchan and the teri chicken was the best I had at any all you can eat korean bbq restaurants, it was tasty and soft! The atmosphere is beautiful and the best part is you don't smell like barbecue after cooking! Chef Kale came out to greet us and gave us his delicious lau lau to try and a plate of wagyu meat! Service 10/10 very attentive staff , fast, friendly, even the owner came to say hi and thank you which I thought was cool. Food 10/10 luau soup was good. Variety of banchan. All the beef options were good. I didn't try the pork or chicken. They gave us a sampler of the wagyu which was awesome. They even had lunch set menus which was great for my parents as they don't eat much and was the perfect portion size. I will say I was a bit disappointed that they only had banana lumpia for dessert. Ordered one to try and wasn't a fan. The lumpia was burnt and I didn't care for the drizzle. I was stuffed off of the meats so it wasn't a big deal. Wish they added a s'mores option or another dessert option. Ambiance was nice. It was lunch time and empty but there was no parking which is probably the only down side. read more

I dont ever review ayce spots, but this place needs it. I don't understand what they're doing different here. Normally, for a reasonably priced meal, you have to make some concessions or accept some general shortcomings. We called on a busy Friday night expecting to be turned away, nope, we got the last spot. So obviously the hostess would be angry to be there or passive, nope, she was helpful and pleasant. We got sat, and my friend ordered 2 of everything. Obviously, we were gonna wait 30 min for our food....nope, our server was really friendly and efficient, her and the runner had everything out within about 7-10 min. She gave us tons of recommendations, and even other special days to come back for. Sooooo, of course we were gonna be served sub par quality meat...NO, everything was fricken good. They were running a grand opening special so the regular price of $69 was only $39. I think it would be worth it at full price because the quality and flavor were so good! The hanging tender and ginger teri pork were my favorites. The service was also amazing! We went on a weekday night so it wasn't too crowded. We got checked on often and orders were taken and brought out super fast. Restaurant was super clean and the grills and ventilation system were top notch! We didn't leave smelling smoky at all. I was surprised to read one of the negative reviews stating that the food was bland, especially for a brand new restaurant wanting to come out hot on the scene. Then reading more of that review the person said some meat was too thin and then another meat would have been better thinner so at that point I couldn't take their review seriously anymore. Plenty complaints which I understand can be their experience but I'm so glad I tried for myself bc I could not relate. Now I had no idea what to expect ambiance wise. Not going to lie I thought it might be a little hole in the wally type vibe. I was so wrong. It's gorgeously done inside. The layout, lighting, wall color, furniture, music... 10/10. Now the food. I've never had Hawaiian style yakiniku before so this a fun new concept for Honolulu. The banchan was very generous and unique. The meats were super tender and generously cut. The okinawan mac salad was one of my favorite side dishes alongside this delicious laulau style soup that had the most tender meat inside (I want to say a piece of wagyu but I can't remember). Overall everything was packed with flavor. Nothing bland about it. AYCE for $60 a person 90 min limit which is competitive and comparable to other places. Cheaper than a single slab of meat at a nice steak restaurant. Now on to the make or break it... service. Miracle was our server but that didn't mean the rest of the staff didn't contribute greatly to our experience. Miracle and the rest of the crew were so lovely and attentive with huge smiles the entire service. This is what service should be like and I fear that this is missing in a lot of restaurants nowadays. I hope that never changes. We got to meet the chef and owner, Chef Kale. What I love most about this place is Chef Kale has his family working alongside him. His literal heart is inside this place and we could feel that. Summer (the manager) did a wonderful job of introducing us to their concept, checking in on us, helping us with our cooking learn curve, etc. So to me it seems like it's a grand running head start with the team he has assembled. I love Yakiniku in general, but I've been waiting for a fresh new Yakiniku spot to open with a different kind of concept that will set them apart from the rest, and here they are! First of all, upon arrival we were greeted right away and were walked over to our table shortly after. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was lovely, and it felt so warm and cozy. Then we got to chatting with the manager Summer who touched our table and she was the absolute sweetest! She explained the menu and concept of the restaurant so thoroughly and took such great care of us. Now on to the food.. there were so many banchan dishes offered and all so delicious. Some of the banchan were so innovative and the twist of it made for a fun and refreshing experience. Then came the main stars of the show.. the meat! Let me just say that the quality of their cuts of meat.. best I've had so far. I was so impressed. And all you can eat?? Say less! Oh, and I can't forget to mention that they included a variety of dipping sauces which made me extra excited because I'm a saucy girl! Probably one of the best yakiniku spots I've been to and actually one of my first reviews worth writing about! Their food was an amazing fusion of Hawaii culture! The banchan was a mixture of both Hawaiian and Korean inspired! Their yakiniku portion was small, but you can't beat QUALITY. Not like your usual factory yakiniku joints. Their desert included a small portion of taho (which is a Filipino inspired tofu, brown sugar syrup, with tiny boba). It was amazing and my toddler would agree since she ate 2 portions of it! The meats were amazing and fresh choice cuts. Their Wagu was melt in your mouth action! Our host Kohl, was very passionate in educating his clients about the restaurant, the cuts of meats, and how the chef is the plug to these meats! Kohls service of course was amazing and sweet! Amazing 11/10! My family ordered all the meats on the menu but the chicken and it was really delicious! The meats came out quickly so we didn't have to wait long. But even while we waited we had so many different amazing sides to enjoy while we waited. When the meats came everything was delicious it was hard to choose our favorites. Awesome dining experience!!! The no roof parking lot has many good size stalls and you will have no problem parking your 3/4 ton 4x4 boat towing truck or smaller vehicle. The restaurant is new so everything is nice and clean, bathrooms are right there in the restaurant too. Not loud so easy to talk story with family and friends. There were about 15 little trays with a variety of appetizers and each was unique and tasty. We ordered the A5 Wagyu Platters and Iberico Pork Belly. Everything was very juicy and tasty. The service was fantastic from the hostess, bus boys, and especially with our really attentive and friendly waitress; Rylnn. And to add to our awesome dining experience was a visit to our table by Chef Kale himself, after talking with him we learned that he whips up a special item and personally serves it his customers, this was very cool as I've seen him on YouTube and Instagram but to be served by him personally was a treat. Went here last week in July. Overall decent experience. Parking is HORRIBLE. Tiny lot in the back, shared with Rainbows and whoever else is in that building. Also right next to the large trash bin, and it smelled like hell. Some street parking. It was EMPTY in there. Server told us they're still in soft opening and should open sometime August as they're working on their liquor license. Slow is good to me so servers can focus on us. Staff so far were really nice. No complaints. Very attentive. But again, we were the only people there. Will try again when they're busy. Food was pretty good. The Wagyu is additional and it's not AYCE unfortunately. They did give us a tiny sample for each person which I can't complain about. Wagyu sample definitely was good quality. Overall, so far so good. The local sides were a great twist on the traditional yakiniku sides. The Mac salad was old school Hawai'i nostalgia, a flavor not really found prevalent anymore.
