I visited the restaurant yesterday with my family. We know about the previous ventures, so we know the food would be good. We ordered gola kabab, Chappli Kabab, bihari kabab, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Mutton Karahi, Chicken Karahi, Bheja fry, haleem, Naan, and Paratha. Gola Kabab: It was very good, well marinated, and tasted like an actual Karachi-style BBQ. The spice level was excellent. Chapli Kabab was another great item on the menu. It was well marinated and well-cooked, and the spice level was excellent. Chicken Tikka: I think they can do better. The chicken tikka was reheated and was not fresh. It was very dry and not well marinated. Chicken Seekh Kabab was a little bit dry, but very well marinated. Mutton Karahi: This item on their menu was far beyond delicious. I was expecting just another Karahi, like Indian style, or maybe something their competitors have, but NOPE, this did not disappoint me. The meat was well done, with not too much oil, great seasoning, and a good quantity. Chicken Karahi: It was the same thing, just like Karachi style. It was very well seasoned, and the chicken melted in your mouth. It was fresh. Bheja Fry: I didn't eat bheja, but my family members who had were amazed by the quantity and the perfect seasonings. Haleem was another item that went beyond my expectations. I have had haleem in many restaurants, but something like this was absolutely delicious. In addition, I think if there had been chaat masala, it would've been great. Paratha and Naan: These items were usual. I think Naan needs a little bit of work. It wasn't what I was expecting. Overall, this restaurant opened about a month ago. They have a long way to go. Taking criticism as an improvement would be a great start. I will absolutely recommend and return to the restaurant. read more

The food was cooked to perfection and exploded with flavor! The second we walked in, we were greeted very warmly and the staff were very respectful and hospitable. I also loved the look inside. Very neat and bright! This place is filled with people making memories and having a great time. I'm genuinely surprised at how high their rating is considering it's only poor counter service and overpriced tasteless food. Bunch of men in the back but no one greets you or approaches you in a timely manner to take your order. There's no access to a physical menu. You have to grab the little brochure ones yourself from the counter desk. The wait is about 20 minutes for food which is whatever. Food was disappointing. Briyani is INCREDIBLY BLAND, dried chicken and rice, almost as if it's old. Only way we could eat it is by drowning it in raita. On top of that, there's no access to drinking water. You can only buy water bottles. I thought it was mandatory for restaurants to have free drinking water available. read more

I'm eating my overall experience here. It's quite comprehensive as I've been here a few times. The dining room and bathroom are very dirty. Regular maintenance is needed or this establishment will quickly go down hill. I already don't want to return because of the condition. The food on the other hand, is very good. I would say they have some of the best Pakistani bbq around. With that said, if they don't hire someone to work on cleaning their bathrooms and dining room, this place will slowly go down. My family and I went to their soft opening on May 17th. Surprised it was so packed around 9pm, but then again it's a new eating establishment nest to where the old Stater Bros. was at off of the Lakewood Blvd exit in Bellflower/Lakewood. You can actually see the restaurant right off the 91fwy. The staff greeted us right away despite being so busy. The menu is pretty simple, but the flavor of the meats were stupendous! I believe they marinate their meats in yogurt so when you bite into the meats they're so tender. I'm not much of a lamb chop person. It's usually a hit or miss and they definitely hit with the seasoning and spices; again with the tenderness. The chicken tikka was very flavorful with a little kick to it. The chalpi kabob also had a nice kick. Not to be confused with the Mediterranean koobideh/kofta. Chalpi kabob is minced instead of ground so when you bite into the kabob it just melts in your mouth! Definitely barbecue/grilled flavors, with the right amount of char. You can even see them cooking and preparing your food. They even have a clay pot for freshly made naan. Not something that just came out of the bag and warmed up. Each meal is served with a refreshing mint chutney and a yogurt sauce I forgot the name of. Also did I mention that all meats are 100% Halal! Yum! There's a Planet Fitness in the same plaza. I'm hoping they can get more foot traffic from them as it's the perfect after workout place with the right amount of carbs and protein to complement their workout meal regimen So if you like fresh, simple, but with that Pakistani barbecue street food taste, definitely try this place out.
