They did not honor the check in on Yelp promo. The staff said she would check and let us know but she never let us know till it was time to pay the bill and the check in discount was not given. Disappointing but I wished the staff could have communicated better on that. I had the lamb Briyani and it was ok. It was mostly bones for the lamb. Second disappointment. The portion was big, good for those who have a hearty appetite. The palak paneer was pretty good. It came with a choice of rice or naan. The naan was the star for me. It was not oily and was very tasty for such a plain naan. The place was quite stuffy as it was a hot day and it didn't seem like they have turned on the ac. Parking is available on the street and side roads.

Amazing food and very attentive service. Everyone got the karahi dish and we had it with chicken. Skip the beef kabob, waste of $18

Really good Pakistani place. Not too many places with this type of food around. Parking is available on Victoria, as well as the side streets. The inside is quite plain, and looked a bit beaten up. Not sure why they skipped a wall when painting the interior black. Staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints. Friends and I weren't sure what to try. The staff recommended their karahi (signature dish). We tried both their chicken and lamb. FYI a karahi is the deep style wok the food is cooked in. When the food arrived, we weren't sure if it would be enough to feed the 4 of us. However, the food was surprisingly filling. All of us left happy. I'm not sure if the staff chose the sauces for us, but the chicken dish was made with more tomato, while the lamb dish was made with more black pepper. Both were very tasty. As for drinks, this place does not serve alcohol. Some of their drinks did look like bottled beer, but no, it's not beer. Barbican is non alcoholic. Friends and I agreed we would all gladly come back. Recommended.

Food was super tasty! Fish pakoras are a 10/10 - so good. Beef kabob was a bit dry but the flavour and chutneys were really good. Nihari could use a bit more meat though. Overall I'd definitely come back!

Best Pakistani food you can get in the Greater Vancouver area. Their karahi is authentic and highlight of the restaurant. Biryani and bbq are amazing food options!

Pakistani cuisines Same location but previously Tiveste Lebanese restaurant. One plus point is the place opens until 2 am. Pretty big place, not well lighted inside then the hard menu is dark colors too so kinda hard to read foods from the menu. Accept credit, debit and cash. Parking is another problem in here. Same as before there's a mat on the floor going to their kitchen from the entrance, personally this is safety issue because not only me but 3 other clients almost trip.. Previous restaurant's problem is thesame also the floor like before is slippery..same condition up to present. Serves authentic Pakistani/Indian and middle Eastern cuisine, excellent service and really very good food. We ordered Butter chicken with naan-super delish we dipped the warm naan into the chicken sauce and holy moly flavors is very rich We had the chicken biryani balanced with spices and meat and rice were cooked perfectly. For my self I tried the Beef Bhutan well it was new to me so I ordered it,tender meat with bones it comes with palao rice..no single complaint it was excellent aswell, we came late so no more sweets after dinner. Pricing I believed is just right. Noise level is average,by the way thaks YELP for my 10% discount for checking in first time. Excellent food with good service whatelse can you ask for... I highly recommend this place specially for those whose hungry after midnight. Surely I will visit again

Came here for dinner with a couple of friends. When we were seated one friend was complaining about how slippery (oily) the floor was under our table. We were sat at a booth by the window, the window sill was not very clean, had some debris (food) and stuff on it as did the floor. They do not serve alcohol here so we had water. It came luke warm. I ordered the lamb curry, it was very tender and nicely seasoned but not spicy at all. (The server never asked for spice level). Didn't really pay attention to what my friends ordered. The service was ok. When you are done you pay at the front counter which is kinda weird since they have table service. Overall, it was not bad, the food and service was ok, the place is a bit rundown and could be a bit cleaner. I believe there is a small parking lot in the back but not sure. There is lots of street parking.........

So happy this restaurant is one of the few open very late! Their food items was a wide abundance of different curries so we opt for the chicken karahi. Very very delish! Service was quick and efficient, very kind as well! Thank you so much for your services!

My coworker and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, we got a reservation ahead of time and I'm glad we did because this place was pretty busy. We got their aperol spritz for drinks which was very refreshing, would recommend this for the summer. For food, we got their dip platter and chose their hummus, labne, and baba ghannouj. My coworker was gluten-free so they were very nice to give us some gluten free chips instead of the bread with the dips. We also got their halloumi fries which came with a pomegrante dipping sauce - I LOVED IT! The halloumi fries were cooked so well! We also got their prawns which were really fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back! Their hummus was so good, it's for sure a very authentic Lebanese spot.

The server was nice and polite and we were quickly served a couple glasses of water and given the menu to peruse. The interior although we did not sit inside i did see when I went in to check in. It was very nicely decorated and looked cozy. I ordered a vaziri kebab and wifey ordered a chicken curry. We also ordered for starters a kashk o bademjoon. When the food arrived they were beautifully plated and the colors amazing. I had a taste of the starter and was delighted at the texture and flavor. Very tasty. My dish of kebabs were seasoned well and the meat was moist. Every bite was delicious with a mouth full of the rice. The was a side of salad on the plate as well, get your veggies in ;) but the star of the plate is the kebab. Wife's dish was spicy for her and she ended up taking it home as she's not good with hot spice. I think the spice level for me was fine, nice kick to it. Over all very nice meal and pleasant server. The food took quite a while to come out considering there were no more than 14 people in the restaurant. Server was nice and answered the questions we had. BBQ ribs: 3.5/5 tender and fall off the bone. The flavour was ok. The sauce was good but the meat itself wasn't flavored well without the sauce. Chicken liver parfait: 5/5 this was my highlight. Generous portion of liver. Beautifully plated with sweet, savoury, components including different textures. Bread was soft, fluffy and warm. Jamaican jerk chicken rice ice bowl: 2/5 Came a bit confusing. We had to clarify with the sever that this was indeed the jerk chicken bowl. Nothing screamed Jamaican. It was more Taiwanese fried chicken with a kicked up Tabasco sauce on top of Chinese fried rice with a bit of dry jerk seasoning sprinkled into it. Flavor wise, it wasn't bad but Jamaican jerk flavours it was not. For $26 I wanted full Jamaican flavours. Would I come back? Probably not. Would I stop people from going? Also probably not.
