The Shrimp Pad Thai and it is one of the better pad thais that I have eaten in a long time. the noodles had a wok smokiness to it, wasn't too sweet, and the shrimp was plump and wasn't overcooked. Went in to have dinner, cozy spot , nothing fancy. We ordered duck noodle soup, pork boat soup. Shrimp thai fried rice, thai iced tea, a beer and mango sticky rice. . Soups were very sweet, the broth tasted stale. Shrimp rice was ok, lacked the typical thai flavor. We never received the thai iced tea, the host/ waitress was awful. We asked for hot sauce, she brought some out in a jar and while we were eating came and took it away. She insisted in giving a beer I didn't want and brought the check 15 mins before bringing dessert. While still drinking the beer she came and took the glass, attempting to pour out the remaining contents and ended up spilling it. I would not recommend nor return. Not worth it. read more

I get thai curry every single time I'm at a thai place (which is once a week and yes, I am addicted) but this might have been my least favorite Thai curry. It's super cheap food for new york (which is nice), but you get what you pay for. The consistency of the curry was off, and the veggies in the curry were all super hard :( I'm usually a HUGE fan of having leftovers but for this meal, I passed on taking the rest of my food home. For appetizer we did the popcorn shrimp and the dumplings. The dumplings were really good, the popcorn shrimp was good as well, but I felt like it should've had a bit lesser breading. For entree I had the Duck Noodle Soup and it was amazing. The duck and noodles were delicious as well as the broth. It was smooth and not salty. I definitely would recommend this soup. Absolutely delicious!! I have been longing for a Thai place to correctly flavor pineapple fried rice. THIS IS THE PLACE. Very simple and to the point and you couldn't ask for anything more! Scallions, rice, egg, cashews, and pineapple. You do get a choice of meat, which I opted for tofu. They were very accommodating with my request at to have the tofu on the side. Also, the amount of noodles was overwhelming and the broth flavor was underwhelming. But there was a B rating in the window from the NY Food Health Department. (Official agency name is NY Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene.) Naturally, I PASSED on eating here a 2nd time!
