You really can't beat the lunch special. $12 for a spring roll, soup, and an entrée. Not much seating but great for takeout.

Basil fried rice chicken and green curry tofu

Very clean and cozy small take-out restaurant in East Harlem. It's hard to find a decent restaurant in this neighborhood and Thai BKK is definitely a place where you can get fresh and delicious foods. Today I ordered green curry tofu with jasmine rice and basil fried rice with chicken. It's a BOMB! and I love it!

The food is very flavorful, I love the service here although the business itself don't have dine in seats. It's still a restaurant with food to die for. It's very authentic and original and it's true Thai food. The atmosphere of this place is very kind and energetic they serve really fast and it's worth every dollar.

I was getting home one evening, and I was in the mood for some good food. I noticed this place on UberEats, and liked how their salmon filet sounded. It came in different spicy levels, of which I picked the spiciest. I waited the half-hour or so for the food to get to my place, thinking that I'd receive an amazing meal that evening. I was wrong. The salmon came with some veggies, and the white rice in its own container. I combined them both, and dug in. The salmon was nowhere near spicy, just overly salted. The taste itself was disgusting. The white rice also had way too much salt added, which made for a very unpleasant first bites. I didn't get past those bites, and just threw it all away. What little of this horrible food I did eat sat horribly in my stomach. Thankfully, with about a gallon of water, I was able to feel better in 2-hours time. I've since reported this situation to UberEats, and I will never order from this place again.

Came here for a quick lunch. Think it's a ma and pa restaurant which I absolutely support. Got a pad see ew dinner portion and it was worth the value considering the huge size for like 10$. Taste and all was expected for the price. It hit the spot and I was glad to have found what I was craving when I was in east Harlem.

I really enjoyed my order. Pad Thai was made perfectly, I hate when it's dry, and this one was very saucy. Spring rolls were also a hit, with their dipping sauce.

Amazing authentic Thai spot tucked away in Harlem!! I am a repeat customer because it always exceeds expectations. Grab their lunch for more bang for your buck (generous portion entree, salad, and a dumpling/friend roll). We ordered the S2. Pad Se Ew and F5. Crab Meat Fried Rice and had enough left over for a second meal!

I ordered delivery via seamless. The delivery was really slow and by the time the food came, it was all already cold. I usually don't complain if my food arrives warm instead of hot but this was straight up cold. The delivery guy also gave me a hard time. He called to ask for my address but ended up hanging up on me. A few mins later he called me again, this time saying that he was downstairs. The food overall was not good. The Tom yum soup was cold and so salty. The pepper over powered all the other flavors. The steamed dumpling was rubbery and had a weird after taste, didn't taste fresh. The fried ones were also not good and soggy. Pad Thai was all clumped together and just tasted okay.

But the employees were everywhere and they look to be working in unison with each other. It almost felt like a fine dining restaurant without quite the price tag. I would strongly recommend you make a reservation. The tables are not that big so you might want to think about ordering too much food. You only get 90 minutes to dine, but our server was a little generous with that time limit as there wasn't any one waiting when we left. All of the dishes we ordered was good in it's own right. The pork belly fried rice had a hint of sweetness to it. I think it might be tamarind or something. But I could totally be off based. The crispy bits of pork belly added a nice texture. It's nothing like I've ever had before. The short ribs was fantastic. Full of flavor and fall of the bones tender. The papaya salad is something that was very familiar to all of the others I've had. Very comforting. Overall, I would definitely come back here and receiving great service on top of the great tasting food was all I could have asked for.

The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell apart with a fork, while the Panang curry was creamy, rich, savory, slightly sweet, and moderately spicy without overpowering the dish. Everything was presented beautifully, and the live music added a fun, relaxed energy to the evening without making it difficult to enjoy the meal. A quick ride on the LIRR or E Train will have you enjoying some of the best Thai food NYC has to offer. For me it all started with their Shrimp Croquettes that were fried to perfection and packed with flavor, then it was the Crispy Pork Belly, and for a second, I had to ask myself, am I in the Dominican Republic?! The crunch, seasoning, and flavor in every bite let me know immediately that they understood the crispy pork belly assignment! Let's not forget the cocktails! Each drink paired beautifully with the appetizers and dishes throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the entrées. Their menu ranges from specialty seafood dishes to authentic, modern Thai cuisine. As a seafood lover, I especially appreciated the generous amount of Lump Crab meat in the Southern Crab Curry. The flavor was rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. But the unexpected STAR of the night was the #TaroCustard! Who knew that the "everything bagel energy" could transfer so effortlessly into a dessert?! It was those crispy fried shallots that did it for me! If you're a true #Foodie, you already know sometimes it's that unexpected flavor assist/combination that creates pure magic on your tongue.
