    Pad Thai with Chicken
    Vivienne C.

Came to the Hugh for lunch and Thai food is always my default at food courts so I was excited. It took almost 20 minutes after I ordered before I received my food which was crazy because I thought my order was fairly simple. I ordered Pad Thai and I felt like the chicken was too thick cut and didn't have a lot of flavor. Also, there weren't a lot of other ingredients other than noodles and bean sprouts which were overwhelming the entire dish. I wish that they had some more tofu or egg. Overall would not be coming back to this specific vendor when at the Hugh. Should've gotten Miznon instead which literally has the best steak pita pockets I've ever had, at least the one in Chelsea does.

Overall, this place was really great! Definitely one of the cheaper options in the area. When we went up to the cashier, we were greeted and asked if we had been there before. There was a moderate selection for a take-out place. The kiosk is located to the side, it was definitely more quiet than other restaurants within the large open area. We decided to get it to-go and eat outside, where there was so many seating options. This place is conveniently located right near the train too! The portions were huge! And they were very generous with the proteins and meat, which is always a plus. The food didn't take long either!

My absolutely delicious pineapple fried rice with my protein choice of sliced chicken. Highly recommend this. Loved it!

Wow!! This is my first time ordering from Thai restaurant, "THANK YOU COME AGAIN" (their name), and what a great dish--Pineapple Fried Rice--so fresh, delicious, and served hot (temperature), with my choice of chicken as my protein and pineapple, cashews, raisins, peas, scrambled egg, carrots, scallions, all totally flavorful and delicious. I'm so glad I ordered this dish. My brother ordered the same thing after he tasted my dish. I also enjoyed a Thai Milk Tea. This Thai restaurant called "Thank You Come Again" is located inside the Hugh, and you can enter on E. 53rd St., between 3rd and Lex or you can enter from the Lexington Avenue entrance where you would walk down a few flights of outdoor stairs. If you enter on East 53rd, you will walk down some wide, inside stairs with handrails, and you will see lovely trees, tables, and hanging lights as you enter, as well as stadium-style seating on each side of the wide entry stairs. There are lots of food selections by various vendors and tonight I tried this one--THAI FOOD--from a restaurant called "THANK YOU COME AGAIN". . I would definitely try other menu items as well because this dish was truly delicious, see my photos and I also ordered the Thai milk tea which in case you don't know is on the sweet side and it was delicious and refreshing ...a nice combination with the pineapple fried rice or any meal from the menu. I would definitely recommend this food establishment. I'm looking forward to trying more from the menu. The lady who took my order was very nice. My food was ready pretty quickly, and served hot and fresh. Great meal!!

It's located in the Hugh food court in a highly visible spot with lots of stool seating. For lunch, they have a limited selection - they didn't have tom yum soup (relatively standard thai item if you ask me.) The service is terrible - the cashier and staffer acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I ordered the chicken pad thai - they said 20min!!! Fine, I'll kill some time and read. They end up giving my order away while I sat at their counter as I watched. It's mayhem there. I finally get my chicken pad thai and the noodles are hard. They didn't soak it long enough. Found a random shrimp tail mixed in, too. While the flavor was good, it's not worth $16, the wait, and the attitude. There are so many more options in the food court.

For a food court pad thai, I was pleasantly surprised. Note that lunch time gets really busy here, as a lot of workers come here for a quick/convenient lunch. But, the surrounding area is really spacious and there are many seats to choose from to enjoy your meal!

The Hugh eatery hall finally opened across from my work place. Was walking around during lunch break and I saw they had Thai iced milk green tea and thai iced milk tea displayed. I rarely ever see thai milk green tea so I wanted to give it a try. It was around $5.70 including tax. It was a bit overly sweet but also had a strong tea flavor. It would complement something savory. I will definitely come back again for their lunch special. They don't have their name displayed in English so I didn't know the name of the place until I scanned their qr code to order. Lovely ambiance. It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of the city.

pork dumplings & thai iced tea

the most convenient place to grab some quick to go thai food. *pork fried dumplings: served very hot and the sauce that is paired with the dumplings were well complimented. *chicken pad thai: (did not take a photo) but it was delicious, very filling and it left me with enough leftovers for dinner. *thai iced tea: SUPER good, probably one of the best thai iced teas I have ever had *my tips: order for pick up during lunch time to beat the long wait! *my experience: The staff is always friendly and they try their best to get your food ready. there is normally only a staff of 3 so I would stay patient as best as you can when it comes to waiting on your order. would I go again? Yes

Pretty average Thai food for a steep price, although almost everywhere in The Hugh seemed to be this way to me.

We were greeted by very friendly staff members who, despite our early arrival, worked hard to get us seated as quickly as possible. The space's vibe is exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area -- dimly lit, but everything was still visible, not too much noise while extremely busy, and very cozy atmosphere made super pleasant from such attentive, kind staff members. I was especially impressed by our server, Leena, who checked in with us regularly, gave excellent recommendations, and was clearly concerned about giving us an amazing experience. My wife and I ordered one of the seasonal offerings--a sweet and savory fruit salad--that was the perfect start to our meal. I ordered the massaman, and it was easily the best massaman curry I've ever had in the United States. Perfect spice level, the chicken fell right off the bone (even my wife, a vegetarian, commented on how clean the bones looked after I removed the meat), and the mixture of textures and flavors with the lotus seeds and onions really created the perfect dish. I am craving it just sitting here and writing this review! Prices? Honestly, I couldn't imagine a fairer deal given the quality of the food and service we received. I was utterly blown away. I cannot recommend Mitr Thai enough! I can't wait to return next time I'm in the city!

The restaurant was busy and I was by…read moremyself so I was happy to sit at the bar, and was attended to by the most sweet bartender ever. Very polite, professional and attentive. I first ordered the crispy spring rolls, which were very good. For my main I had the Massaman Curry. Now folks, this is my favorite curry of all time -- actually one of my favorite foods of all time -- and while it's common in LA where I used to live, it's not as common where I live now, in the Bay Area. And the restaurants that do carry it usually do not make it right and it's not very good. I am used to Massaman in the traditional preparation where it's more like a beef stew made with chunks of beef and needs to cook overnight. When done right it is the most aromatic curry ever -- it's almost like an aphrodisiac! -- and the beef comes out oh so tender. Usually if places have this curry but then offer a choice of protein, then it generally is not cooked properly, and that is actually how they prepare it at SaiTong. But because of such great reviews I decided to take a chance and try it. Well, let me tell you, it was definitely not the norm...it was absolutely delicious! I had it with chicken (they serve breast as default), and the chicken soaked up the curry really nicely. I also asked for there to be no onions, which I think alters the flavor of a curry too much. It does include the traditional potatoes and peanuts, and the potatoes were fine and cut into nice little chunks, the peanuts actually were thrown in raw.. what I think is the more traditional way which is to actually burn the peanuts a little bit, but that's okay, it didn't take down the dish any. Their brown rice is of the very dark kind, which I like, and goes so well with the curry. Service was wonderful from the bartender but was also provided by the rest of the staff and everyone was so nice. I left there feeling so satisfied, and cannot wait to go back and try some other dishes.

My friend ordered the Mr. Tamarind Man cocktail, she enjoyed it. My other ordered the Impressive cocktail, because gin is the go-to liquor. Last my other friend went safe and ordered the Thai Ice Coffee. After reading the Yelp reviews of this place, I went with the consensus of what the reviewers enjoyed and recommended to order. Therefore, I ordered the gluten-free Scallop Bite (Scallop, dried shrimp, betel leaf, shallot, lime, roasted coconut, ginger, peanut, chili, caramelized coconut sauce), which is their appetizer meant to share, but ended up making it a meal. In addition, I ordered their Crispy Papaya Salad (Crispy papaya, carrot, tomato, corn, string bean, cashew nut). This textures of this salad reminded me of the the crispy water spinach salad I would normally get at Ayada. I agree with the Yelp consensus who dined here that both dishes are ordering! Meanwhile, my friends ordered Veggie Rolls (Glass noodle, taro, cabbage, carrot, plum sauce) and individual orders of Chicken Kee Mao Thai Spicy and Chicken Kaprow Thai Spicy, which they enjoyed. To end the night we ordered the Caramel Delight and Taro Puff for desserts, which hit the spot. Personally I enjoyed the Taro Puff a bit more than the Caramel Delight. I'd like to return here to try more of their signature dishes.
