    Crab fried rice

I was thinking to get dim sum across the street, but the guy didn't even want to serve me. He said he was short handed. I decided to walk across to the other street to get Thai take out. The place was very small. Price may be a bit higher, but the cashier was very helpful. She helped me to choose what best for me. I ordered crab fried rice and Thai ice tea. They were fast and got out of there in less than 5 minutes. The crab fried rice was delicious. Thai ice tea was the usual. I highly recommend and will come back whenever I'm in Manhattan area.

The most disappointing takeout I've ever had. I scoured the city for Rad Nah because I grew up eating it. Paid $20 for it and it was the tiniest portion of noodles and NO Thai flavoring whatsoever. It was chicken soup. It was a few noodles with shredded chicken and sauce that tasted like unseasoned shredded chicken. I was so disappointed. Not worth the price at all.

Nice little Thai spot. Friendly staff and pretty comfy sit in area. It's small but worth a spot to try.

    Dead roach
    Savages for life m.

First time coming in here, My mom wanted to try this place so bad, so we did and the first thing I notice are dead roaches on the floor. She bought 4 dumplings, a side of rice and one drink. $29 dollars and it tasted so regular. The dumplings were microwaved you could taste the freezer burn. When I was sitting down there was a FLYING roach climbing on the wall behind me and they had dead roaches in where they had their food. The service wasn't good. They didn't feel welcoming at all and they was talking bad about me because I was calling out of how dirty their place was. Don't come here be careful with the roaches.

Food (5/5) - Food is spicy here! For reference probably XFF mild for the pad thai and XFF regular for the drunken noodles. I enjoyed it, it was a very fragrant kick, not just hot / burn your tongue. Service (4/5) - Prompt, it's counter serve. Food came out in 10 minutes or so and there was space to sit all three of us, but could probably get crowded in busy times. Ambiance (4/5) - Cozy, has a counter lining the window and a big wooden table in the middle. Price (4/5) - Cheaper than your sit down restaurant, and the rice bowl deals were pretty good (12+) but a pad thai / pad see ew / fried rice is 14-16. Decent portion.

Wow, at first I thought I found a Gem. Been going to this place for a year now. Yesterday June 22, 2025. I ordered two things one was crispy basil fillers(onions and green peppers) very littleb basil and chicken nice spice at all. The other was Drunk Man Plate. Both had no taste and more fillers(sweet green peppers and onions eggs) very little noodles and chicken. This place has now turned from a Gem to Coal. Also check the food grade on this place and very bad. They do not post the grade anywhere in the restaurant. Please do not good here.....

I was craving Thai food and saw this place near the office. It was just average from the food to the service. I didn't particularly like the slow cooked Thai beef over rice too much. The dressing on the salad was a bit much, too. Maybe their other dishes are better, but the one I got wasn't that great. Also, since this place is small, there should be a better distinction on the line. Where does one stand after they order, and where do you stand to order? It was quite confusing. All in all, I doubt that I'll be going back again.

Green Curry portion almost half of the container

One of the worst places in the city. For the price they give fraction of portion. I mean as much as half of the regular portion you get elsewhere. In green curry you can count 2 tofu and 4 veggies that's it. Taste is not authentic either. Dont waste your money here.

You know a Thai spot is legit when the default spice level for a basic Pad Thai leans medium. I picked up lunch on Tuesday via Allset and had some credits so I scored a Pad Thai w/ Chicken for less than $11 which is so worth it. The famous noodle dish was a bit on the saltier side, but again I really liked the spice level (without having to request a specific level). I loved the casual-ness of the dining area - I decided to just eat my food there since it was pretty empty. They are pretty strict with checking for vaccine cards which I respect. The lady at the counter seemed very patient and kind and I'd definitely return to try their other menu offerings.

Ordered Catering from here for our week of catered foods and one of the days is thai food!! And honestly everything was delicious! We had the duck pad see ew, beef pad thai, tofu yellow curry, chicken satay, veggie spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and some thai salad. Everything was fresh! Staff from the restaurant helped us get everything together and set up, brought an abundance of utensils and everything absolutely loved every dish, there was NOTHING Left over. Will definitely order from here again! I have not one complaint of any of these dishes. High recommend. P.s the whole staff was extra in love with the yellow curry, spring rolls and the chicken satay!!

I really enjoyed visiting this spot! They serve a healthy, organic twist to thai food. The associate at the front was very welcoming and friendly. The dish was a lot more saucy that other places I've tried before, but it was a really neat take to it! Usually the noodles I've had were a little more dry. The chicken was also very fresh and delicious.

Not sure about these mixed reviews - Tam Sang is my GO TO thai place to order in the city. I know it's "fast casual" and a bit expensive, but hear me out... Their portions are top notch. Sometimes I can't even finish my meal in one or two sittings! I've feasted on Tam Sang 3 days in a row once lol. Also their spring rolls are super tasty, I love how crispy they are and love the sauce. Their Pad Thai is so good - super tasty, tangy, and also a bit spicy. Their drunken noodles are also amazing. Whenever I order from here, the food always comes quickly, and it's always really good. I highly recommend Tam Sang.

The restaurant was busy and I was by…read moremyself so I was happy to sit at the bar, and was attended to by the most sweet bartender ever. Very polite, professional and attentive. I first ordered the crispy spring rolls, which were very good. For my main I had the Massaman Curry. Now folks, this is my favorite curry of all time -- actually one of my favorite foods of all time -- and while it's common in LA where I used to live, it's not as common where I live now, in the Bay Area. And the restaurants that do carry it usually do not make it right and it's not very good. I am used to Massaman in the traditional preparation where it's more like a beef stew made with chunks of beef and needs to cook overnight. When done right it is the most aromatic curry ever -- it's almost like an aphrodisiac! -- and the beef comes out oh so tender. Usually if places have this curry but then offer a choice of protein, then it generally is not cooked properly, and that is actually how they prepare it at SaiTong. But because of such great reviews I decided to take a chance and try it. Well, let me tell you, it was definitely not the norm...it was absolutely delicious! I had it with chicken (they serve breast as default), and the chicken soaked up the curry really nicely. I also asked for there to be no onions, which I think alters the flavor of a curry too much. It does include the traditional potatoes and peanuts, and the potatoes were fine and cut into nice little chunks, the peanuts actually were thrown in raw.. what I think is the more traditional way which is to actually burn the peanuts a little bit, but that's okay, it didn't take down the dish any. Their brown rice is of the very dark kind, which I like, and goes so well with the curry. Service was wonderful from the bartender but was also provided by the rest of the staff and everyone was so nice. I left there feeling so satisfied, and cannot wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Fortunately, there were plenty of options near my Midtown hotel that offered quick delivery. Dagg Thai was just around the corner and had solid Yelp ratings. Rather than creating an online account, I called the restaurant directly and placed my order. They estimated delivery would take about 25 minutes. Less than 20 minutes later, the food was waiting for me in the hotel lobby. I ordered: * Cashew Nuts with Shrimp -- Bell peppers, onions, scallions, cashews, and dried chilies. * Dumplings -- Mixed shrimp and pork served with a soy vinaigrette dipping sauce. The Cashew Nuts with Shrimp had a flavorful, light sauce with just the right amount of heat. I really enjoyed it. My only disappointment was that the shrimp were battered and fried; I would have preferred grilled or pan-seared shrimp. The dumplings were more like shoo-mai than traditional dumplings. They were a bit dense but still flavorful and satisfying. Considering the quick delivery, the food arrived piping hot, and the excellent Cashew Nuts dish, this was an easy four-star meal.
