This was a great quick stop for dinner with comforting food. We stopped here on the way to our hotel to grab food to go. We both chose a dinner that included one entree, a spring roll and salad. I ordered the the coconut lemongrass chicken and my friend ordered chicken satay. The bowls were delicious. The lemongrass chicken is a little on the spicy side, but mild spice. The satay is not spicy at all. All of the ingredients were fresh and the spring rolls were good aside from a sauce that was poured on them making the tools Soggy by the time we got to our hotel a few minutes away. The service was fast and efficient. The space is small and more suited for takeout, but there are a few tables if you'd like to eat in. They put all foods in disposable containers and they expect you to top them even though they don't really provide services: you grab your foods when they are ready and you throw them away when you're done. The most disappointing takeout I've ever had. I scoured the city for Rad Nah because I grew up eating it. Paid $20 for it and it was the tiniest portion of noodles and NO Thai flavoring whatsoever. I picked up lunch on Tuesday via Allset and had some credits so I scored a Pad Thai w/ Chicken for less than $11 which is so worth it. The famous noodle dish was a bit on the saltier side, but again I really liked the spice level (without having to request a specific level). I loved the casual-ness of the dining area - I decided to just eat my food there since it was pretty empty. They are pretty strict with checking for vaccine cards which I respect. We had the duck pad see ew, beef pad thai, tofu yellow curry, chicken satay, veggie spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and some thai salad. Everything was fresh! She didn't remember the name but once she said a small Thai take out place near her, I did my search right away and this popped up and she said "Wow! You're fast!" Well, we need to keep up with the millennial here. If they can do it, why can't I? Anyway, although the place is a take out place, of course you can eat here too. Choices of high bar table facing out the windows or a regular table at the center of the place. We ordered 3 types of appetizers plus one Thai iced tea. That iced tea came with a check in. The 3 apps we had were Summer rolls, Shumai and Peking duck rolls. I liked Summer rolls and Shumai. Shumai was a combination of shrimp and chicken. I don't mind trying the place again. Next time will try the noodle. Definitely would return and recommended to all. Super affordable! Lots of sauces and spices on the shelves for sale. Those are product of Thailand. Even though there is a bell that signals when someone enters the restaurant, the employee will not look at you or acknowledge you. And when you stand in front of the employee, she will continue looking at her receipts for another thirty seconds before asking if you need assistance instead of asking for more time. I ordered through AllSet and when I got to the restaurant, the employee told me I cancelled my order. So I tried to order it again, but the restaurant was then greyed out and so I informed her I couldn't order it anymore. She then told me the restaurant no longer participates with AllSet, and it was then clear that she cancelled my order and mislead me to think I did it. Also she knew I was going to try to re-order but did not inform me beforehand that they no longer participate with AllSet. They were trying to shift the blame to me. Overall the customer service is just lacking and they try to put the mistakes on the customer instead of acknowledging it and I would have understood and moved on. read more

Then I asked about drink options and she pointed me to the pop area then I noticed a sign for Thai tea and I asked if they have it and she responded yes but it took me asking. I became a vegetarian a few months ago and it's been a very difficult task to find food when I go out to eat that is made with quality ingredients and tastes good. We happened upon this restaurant one night on a walk and decided to try it out. From the extreme pleasantness of the woman at the register who inquired about any possible allergies and took the time to explain all of the ingredients in the dishes we requested, to the menu choices and subsequent quality of the food, we were exceedingly pleased with our overall experience. The food was just damn delicious. On the vegetarian side, we had the spring roll, the mushroom dumplings, and the Pad Thai with tofu which was extraordinary. Incredible sauces. My wife is not a vegetarian and she had the General Tso Organic chicken, which she said was excellent. Additionally for the price, the portions were quite substantial. We had enough for lunch the next day. we ate outside in the freezing cold because of Covid and it was worth it. We will be here again in probably a week because I'm still craving that tofu dish, and I live all the way up in the Bronx. I can't believe people who give a restaurant like this two stars because they're not thrilled about one little particular thing. People like that shouldn't be reviewing restaurants. Decent spot for some Thai food with good prices and good quality meats. The general tso's chicken was interesting. It had the flavor but not the crunchy outside that we're used too. Still it was delicious. I ordered a curry dish and while the curry flavor was incredible the beef they used was not fully cooked before they put it in the hot curry. I think they cut the beef thin so that it 'cooks' in the hot curry sauce but it didn't work out. I ultimately didn't finish it at the restaurant and had to cook the beef at home on my stovetop. Oooo my gaaaaahhhh. I was originally on the hunt for another restaurant but they were closed so had to call an audible. Almost went to an Italian spot but then saw this place sitting pretty kitty corner form the Italian restaurant. Took a closer look and saw the words "Thai" and was instantly sold. Upon entering you could smell heaven. The cashier popped out from the kitchen and handed a menu and I looked at the Yelp reviews to get an idea of what's hot. I opted for the Massaman Curry with Pork Belly and a Thai iced tea. Food came out quick once the order was place, they set right to work and kicked it out hot and steaming. I eagerly began to eat and slipped into deliciousness. The pork belly, coconut curry, the heat, and just everything warmed me right up. I ended up mopping up the plate and started to debate coming here for dinner the next night or keep up the culinarily exploration. The coconut soup is very good and I get it with shrimp! I have had great experiences picking up here and they are usually pretty fast.

Probably not the most authentic Thai food in the neighborhood but it is close to where my girlfriend lives so I eat here pretty often. Service is generally fast and the place is mostly take out with small seating where you just order and sit wherever you can. The price is a bit on the expensive side (around $15 a dish) but what can you expect from midtown. My go to meal is the basil fried rice with chicken or beef. They give a decent amount of protein and the fried rice is super spicy which I love. Not sure how the other things really taste as I haven't tried them before.
