Butter Chicken with rice and Saag Aloo
Trevor S.

Great food, great service and at a great value. My family has been here twice and the foods we ordered were very tasty. I'd recommend confirming spice levels if you want spicy but since I was offering to feed my toddler, I didn't mind lower spice level.

Lunch buffet $16 pp

The food is not bad but the service could be more attentive for a buffet set up. We arrived at 12:45 on a Friday for the lunch buffet, which ends at 2pm, and joined the two other tables with people in the buffet area. We were excited about the classic entree options (e.g. papadum, naan, rice, korma, tandori chicken, vegetable curry, potato curry, and tofu curry), but disappointed to find there was little actual food in the chafer dishes and no one replenished the food while we were there, so we had to share the one piece of tandori chicken and the two pieces of dried out naan. Despite the lids of the chafer dishes (very cool looking but heavy!) being super hot to the touch, the curries were not too hot themselves. But they tasted good overall, just wish they were hotter and there was more of it to enjoy for $16 per person!

Butter Chicken and Butter Naan

Got the buttered chicken and it was delicious. The service was very attentive and we were seated right away. I recommend the garlic naan as well to go with any meal

Oh my I love their food, but we had a poor experience early on a Friday dinner. We had a $100 gift card and ordered a few things more than we would. Like all other places they are not inexpensive, but when it was time to pay we were told the gift card machine didn't work! Okay, we can cover the bill, but what if it was some young family who couldn't? And if they didn't have the money to pay then what? This was not good. We were told our gift card was still valid, but what if it happens next time we go? I think we're at the point where technology should work, or maybe they should have taken our gift card and honored it, if they could tell it still had the balance. Weird.

Too yellow 5 and artificial in taste

Their paneer tikka masala (mild) was absolutely delicious. Highly swear by their homestyle gravy, it tasted like a rich hand squashed tomato bisque but like Indian flavor profile. Naans were light and airy. Personally found the chicken pokrika?! Or whatever that dish was called a little too sweet... for my liking but the paneer tikka masala was the best I have ever had. Taking a star away because of their styrofoam take out containers and mango lassi which looks startlingly unhealthy... like Yellow #5 was poured liberally into a cup. The lassi was a shame because their gravy was so homemade and real... missed opportunity - just make it with real frozen mangoes instead!

We tried their new lunch buffet. It's Tues-Fri from 11-2:30 for $15.99. We arrived at about 1p and were the only diners at first. The buffet items were lukewarm, not hot. The salad and coleslaw were not good. For me, the flavors of the "hot" items were good. My hubby likes his food spicy, and none of the food had that kind of heat. It was all very mild. I just don't think the buffet is worth its price.

I went back a second time and unfortunately the food was not at the same caliber as my first visit. The service was still friendly and fast. I even got the same dish, the mixed grill, and depending on which meat it was either dry or mushy. Like it was sitting in a marinade for way too long. I will give Karma another try someday and hope it was just an off night.

I went through Karma 2 times in two weeks because I was so eager to eat their food again. Everything there is terrific! It's a great group of guys serving and caring for the customers. They are very attentive. The ambiance is like any Indian restaurant; this one is very clean. Everything tasted so good. We got curry goat, buttered chicken, naan, and mango lassi. My only issue is that the food is either too spicy or not.

Do they have a lunch buffet?

Any vegan options?

They had a robust vegetarian section and several of them had a "V" after. Many tofu and lentil dishes. Not all Indian foods include dairy and a lot use coconut milk for curry. I think your chances are pretty good. At the least some Indian spiced…

It's time for our annual trip to Spokane for my wife's immersion and if you follow my reviews at…read moreall, you know that my job on vacation is to coordinate the food. After a recommendation from one of my wife's classmates, I took myself on a lunch date to Indicana, and I'm honestly convinced that Spokane is a foodie dream after this meal. I have been wanting to try Indicana for lunch all week, but they only serve lunch on specific days. I did a walk-in at lunch and did not need a reservation (however I cannot say the same for dinner, we went back this evening so that my wife could try the mango lassi and people were piling in). The restaurant is stunning with warm hues of earth tones and deep, rich dark blue that pulls it all together. The music is loud enough that you can hear it, but light enough that you can still hear yourself talk, which I appreciated. Every member of staff I encountered was incredibly kind and I think I ended up sitting next to the owner or a manager who was at the bar near my table - she was so sweet and had no problem jumping in to help when needed. The lunch menu and dinner menu differ, so it's important to note if you're interested in trying anything from my review. I ordered the Pork Vindaloo tacos with naan, tandoori slaw with a side of jeera rice and dal along with a Mango lassi. Everything, and I do mean everything was delicious.   Pork Vindaloo Tacos on Naan - 10/10 every single bite was flavorful. The naan had a crispy yet softness to it, the pork vindaloo created a juice that brought together all of the flavors and then I followed it up with a bite of tandoor slaw, and it was so good. The cheese did not overpower the meal and really sealed it all together. Jeera Rice and Dal - 8/10 I wanted a bit more flavor in the Dal, but with this being my first experience with Dal, I'm not sure how flavorful it should have been. Overall, it was still delicious and fresh. I found myself taking bites of it and the jeera rice between bites of the tacos. The entire meal was very filling, but not in an overly full kind of way. Mango Lassi - 11/10 and I mean it! You should know I mean it because I my wife and I came back later in the evening (as I mentioned above) to get more. It is velvety smooth with a hint of warmth after each sip. The taste is absolutely delicious and so refreshing. I can understand why Indicana is so busy, and the reservations are needed. This will definitely be added to our Spokane list of places to visit and recommend.

To start we booked a reservation so we could arrive during a time that worked for us. When we arrived at our reservation time we were instantly greeted by Jacob. He was friendly, warm, and really helpful with explaining the menu. The restaurant inside was intimate, but they shared they also had a patio. We had researched the menu before our reservation so we knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered the Pollo Asado, the Mango Chicken Enchiladas, and the Curry Rip and Dip for appetizer. To start, the Curry Rip and Dip was OUTSTANDING!!! The curry was rich, creamy, and had a hint of sweetness. The flaky flatbread parathas were were light, buttery, and paired well with the curry dip. I wish there was a dish that was bathed in this curry sauce. So good. The Pollo Asado was freshly grilled and came with a fresh corn salad and a bright cilantro sauce. The rice was fluffy and the lime brought everything to life! The Mango Enchiladas were saucy and filled with chicken. The cabbage slaw provides freshness and crunch, and the plate came with a generous helping. This was such a great experience overal. We cant wait to come back and try other items, but we will be sure to always order the Curry Rip and Dip!

My partner and I both got the Veg Xacuti, which was packed with chickpeas, veggies, and mushrooms on a bed of rice with a fresh slaw. It had a spice level of 2 out of 5, and it was spot on. The flavors were well balanced and tasty. My partner also got a side of the coconut daal (had a spice level of 1/5). We both tried that, and came to the conclusion that the lentils may have been overcooked because they were mainly mush, and the flavor was lacking. He also got a mango lassi, which and he stated it was quite delicious. The staff was so friendly and enthusiastic about their dishes. The chef even popped out to see how everyone was doing. The building, Feast, was clean, comfortable, and would definitely venture in again. It's not in the most desirable location, but don't let it discourage you from visiting this gem. We had a group of eight and there was a lot of "not ready yet" which the staff handled with ease. Food came out quickly but mostly all at the same time. We had a few items that came out later but it was reasonable and expected. Ambiance is very nice, simple but elegant. You would feel comfortable coming in dressed up or casual. Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. All in all you should stop in for dinner and you won't be disappointed!

It was my first time trying Indian Food and for the presentation and flavor available as take out I was highly impressed. We received amazing service from the man who took our order and he suggested everything that we ordered and as he assured everything was delicious. Garlic Naan 10/10 The naan was delicious and the hints of garlic gave it a savory and warm flavor. Each piece was fresh and served as its own appetizer with delicious notes of what seemed to be butter. Samosa Chaat 9/10 We ordered our Samosa Chaat with a spice level of 2. This specific dish was almost like a loaded Samosa and had a hint of sweetness to it. We paired it with the Garlic Naan and it had significant flavor that complimented one another. The Samosa Chaat was filling enough for two people and had so many different distinct and delicious flavors altogether. Mango Lassi 10/10 The flavor on this Lassi was definitely addicting and something that I have been thinking about circling back to since having it. I would love to try a Strawberry as well. It was the perfect balance of an enhanced smoothie that still gave off the flavor of yogurt, but in a light way that left me feeling refreshed.
