Great food, great service and plenty of wonderful choices on the menu. The prices are definitely good and you get more than enough food.

The short: perfect place for local, casual, tasty American eats. The longer: we came here on a Monday night, and were surprised to see the restaurant packed and bar seats all taken. We waited 20 minutes at the bar, while enjoying some rosè. We sat at a high top booth near the bar. The space is loud and there are tons of TVs, but you can still hear your friends at the table. We shared two apps: the loaded cheese fries and jumbo Bavarian pretzel. I highly recommend both. Both were HUGE. I could've honestly skipped dinner after the apps. I ordered the Greek quinoa salad. It was good, but I was too fully to enjoy it... and I forgot my leftovers in the car so I couldn't even enjoy them the next day! :( I highly recommend this spot and would come back if I was in the area. read more

They have an extensive menu, A lot to choose from. The beer selection is good as well. The burger I got was really good. The one knock I will give them is that they don't have a physical beer list, only one screen (in the whole place) displays the beers. And it rotates through current beers and upcoming beers, which can be annoying to try to read the whole menu before it switches to another page. read more

Honestly, everything we've had here blows us away. My wife and I have gone 3 times and always been impressed. The food is always on point. The Karvers fries are always crisp and flavorful. Their skirt steak is rich and tender. The mac and cheese is balanced and filling. Really filling. My wife had the taco bowl last time and she enjoyed it a lot. I had the Dixie Smokehouse burger and honestly couldn't believe how good it was. I went on and on about it for a good minute. The craft beer menu is respectable and the cocktails are inventive. The tab can run up fast though if it's not happy hour. Service has been friendly and accommodating. They are wary if you have any food allergies. It's very busy, but good places usually are. The fresh giant pretzel is a must item it comes hot to the tables. The must try dish is hands down the seared Ahi Tune sushi grade tuna melt in your mouth. The perfect combination of soy and wasabi. We've eaten dinner here three times now and each time we go the food and service are simply outstanding. From the host/hostess to the waitstaff, everyone is extremely friendly and ready to help, always with a smile. Sometimes you go to restaurants and the service is okay, or even just, we'll, there... but the team at Karvers is absolutely happy to be of assistance, quickly and with only a positive attitude. The food? It's so good! We love their wings, and while I've now had three types of burgers -- all superb -- my husband has tried other things and been just as happy. There are so many great choices on this menu it is hard to choose! Karver's offers a notable bar program with seasonal cocktails. When we were there I had a great Pumpkin Mule, so I'm curious to see what drinks they'll whip up for the winter! Devoured the Irish Spring Roll and Mac and Cheese Fritters. Both were large, delicious portions that are great for sharing. The Dutch Man Burger was everything I want- a beef burger topped with smoked gouda cheese, sauteed mushrooms, carmalized onions, and bacon, and was cooked to medium rare perfection. The Rainbow Cookie cake for dessert was literally what my dreams are made of. Can't wait to go back! read more

Came back into the old neighborhood for a quick bite , I was expecting the place to be as great as it was 4 years ago. It's stellar reputation disappointed. The ambiance remains the same ( still a five star), however sadly everything else did not. I don't ever give a bad review for a place but the discrepancy in 4 years has warranted me to. Today we went back to Karvers, we felt that maybe they were having a bad day. What a pleasant surprise. Our server was Anna, and she could not be more professional. She was friendly and attended to every need. Her smile was infectious! We began with a Ceaser salad that we ended up splitting because it was so bib. The dressing was great, and we enjoyed it. I had a Ribeye, and my wife had the Pork Chop dinners. My steak came out cooked perfectly and my wife's chop dinner was perfect. It's so nice to have a local place that we can enjoy. We stopped here for lunch while traveling. It was a cool place! Good menu with a lot of options for lunch-- for example they have more burger choices than most. We started with 'disco fries' -- apparently Long Island's form of poutine. Lots of cheese and good gravy. The bf ordered the smokehouse burger, which he really enjoyed, and he subbed regular fries for sweet potato fries. I was stealing these as they were quite tasty. I ordered a chicken sandwich with pesto mayo, bacon, lettuce/tomato/onion. Something I don't always get, but I love pesto and it worked well here. I tried to make a reservation on a Saturday and they told me they don't do reservations. I asked how long is the wait and the girl on the phone said right now no wait. I offered to put my name on a list or similar as I told her I'm 7 -8 minutes away and I'm walking out the door now she said they didn't do that either. I explained her I just called 10 mins ago and what I was told over the phone and she was rude, didn't want to hear it and told me again and again hour and a half wait. I went here with a friend and I'm so happy that we came across this restaurant! The menu is insane - there are so many options that you can literally get anything you want and it's all delicious. The fall cocktails are awesome and innovative - my friend had an apple cider mimosa that was light & refreshing and I had some pumpkin fizz drink that was really good. The appetizers are great, the bavarian pretzel with beer cheese was delish and I was eyeing nachos at the table next to us that looked pretty dope. For dinner, highly suggest the bbq chicken flatbread - it was delicious and such a large helping - I got to take home leftovers which was great. The Karver's fries were crispy and garlicky and it came with garlic aioli which is *chef's kiss*. My friend had the french dip sandwich and it was also massive. Definitely get your money's worth!! I came here for a bridal shower recently. Elegant yet rustic, this is a great location for a relatively private private party. The doors for the private room in the back even close to make for an even more intimate experience. Wait staff is friendly, patient and accomadating, made it a wonderful experience. The food is delicious. I had the french onion soup, and salmon in mustard sauce with veggies and mashed potatos. The french onion soup was very tasty but I would have liked to see a little bit more broth and less onions and bread crust. The flavor was good, not too salty. The Salmon was moist, cooked perfectly! The mustard sauce was delicious and didn't overwhelm the salmon but rather complimented it greatly. The veggies were delicious but a little greasy and the mashed potatos were delicious but a little more buttery then I'm used to. Although everything was delicious, overall I did find my meal to be a little rich and buttery. The only problem I found is that it does smell a little bit like wood inside. Decided to come here with a group of four guys as part of a "dad's" evening out. Given the current COVID restrictions, we made sure to have a reservations. I was really looking forward to coming here, because the menu looks very appetizing with tons of awesome options. Our group started off with some apps. We got the Irish Spring Rolls, Fried Pickle, and order of wings with their signature teriyaki sauce. Everything tasted awesome. The Irish spring rolls were excellent. Nice chewy dough. The fried pickles were on point. I didn't think I'd like them, but I loved them! And what can you say about the wings....the sauce was very good, not too spicy, but with a little kick. For dinner, the majority of my group ordered burgers, with another person ordering the french dip. I got the Karver's Burger that had a slice of ham and a fried egg on it, along with lettuce & tomato. It was a HUGE burger and I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was done perfectly. If you've never had an egg on your burger, I suggest you try it. It gives it an awesome flavor. Everyone else in my group raved about their food. After having this dining experience here, I would definitely recommend it. I enjoy Karvers! However, my girlfriend cannot due to Celiacs Disease. They have ZERO gluten free options on their menu and when asked they were pretty adamant with NOT having any options at all. With that tone, we even hesitated to order a salad. It's 2020 and the food industry has exploded. We can do anything with food and our menus, it's frustrating when some can't enjoy the full experience. Besides that, Karvers has great food and drinks. Four adults. One bacon cheeseburger one chicken burger one taco salad and one salmon. A tasty Burrata board to start. Everyone was happy with their meal and with the service. Onion rings are amazing. What soured all of us was being rushed out the door. We paid the bill. Tipped 20% and we were still getting caught up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. First the waiter came back and asked if there was anything else he could do. Then the lead waiter stopped by and asked the same question. Then a few minutes after that the hostess swung by and asked if there was anything else and finally the manager came by with the same question. This was over a span of about 10 minutes. They obviously wanted the table. The dining area is small and they pack a lot of well-fed people into the space elbow to elbow. Turn over is important to them. Restrooms were clean! read more
