Decided to come here with a group of four guys as part of a "dad's" evening out. Given the current COVID restrictions, we made sure to have a reservations. I was really looking forward to coming here, because the menu looks very appetizing with tons of awesome options. I was a bit nervous, because some reviews critique the food some, but I was anxious to make my own determination. Our server Maria was fantastic. Very attentive to our group, but not overly so. Our group started off with some apps. We got the Irish Spring Rolls, Fried Pickle, and order of wings with their signature teriyaki sauce. Everything tasted awesome. The Irish spring rolls were excellent. Nice chewy dough. The fried pickles were on point. I didn't think I'd like them, but I loved them! And what can you say about the wings....the sauce was very good, not too spicy, but with a little kick. For dinner, the majority of my group ordered burgers, with another person ordering the french dip. I got the Karver's Burger that had a slice of ham and a fried egg on it, along with lettuce & tomato. It was a HUGE burger and I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was done perfectly. If you've never had an egg on your burger, I suggest you try it. It gives it an awesome flavor. Everyone else in my group raved about their food. After having this dining experience here, I would definitely recommend it. They are doing a great job handling the COVID restrictions, spacing tables out, etc, and as I said, the service we got from our server was friendly and attentive. Don't sleep on Karver's!! read more

I loved this place! The menu has some cool options. I had a shrimp and avocado wrap and my friend had a burger with an egg, ham, cheese and some other stuff. A salad or soup comes with it. So does a side. I got the French onion soup. My friend had the vegetable chowder. Bother were delicious. The sides were awesome -chips and sweet potato fries. The service was good. Been here a few times, and I've always gotten some type of burger and it's always been great. This last time though, I had the Greek lamb burger and O...M...G... This normally isnt the type of burger I go for, as I'm more of a bacon cheeseburger type, but this lamb burger was exquisite. Seasoned and crusted and crunchy, pink/red in the middle, with the tzatziki sauce bringing together the pickled red onions, feta, tomatoes, and peppers...damn. Ive had their nachos w pulled pork, and i think i would have liked it better with chicken. That's on me though, and not Karver's. Overall, the food I've had has been great, and not just good. It gets very loud, especially early and through the middle of their dinner session. read more

Usually I love Karvers! I've eaten here in person quiet a few times. I was on my way home from work and I decided that I wanted to order a app for dinner tonight, dessert and a salad for lunch for tomorrow. I ordered through Uber eats because I thought it would be easier! I'm not sure if the prices are more on there then in person but beware! I wanted grilled chicken on my salad and I was charged $5.20 for a thin cutlet cut into four pieces!!!! I also asked for 2 dressings. The lemon the salad came with and a berry in which I paid an additional .65 cents for. I didn't look before I left the parking lot and that's my own fault. I will take that. But I'm pretty upset. I also asked for 1/2 arugula and 1/2 mixed greens which I didn't get but wasn't changed for. Note to self, I will just either go to the restaurant and order or I will call directly. I will still give five stars because I love this place! But I should have checked my food before I left and the prices are rough through the app. read more

Well I went there this week and got to sit outdoors! Finally to be served!! The waitress was lovely! We had a burger and the seared tuna appetizer both were excellent! Burger with mushrooms and onions cooked to perfection, juicy we could not even finish it. The drink specials were yummy and served in a plastic sealed bag that you could take away if you liked (which I did take it home and enjoyed)! They were very conscious about safety which made us feel good. They had seating time limits which I totally respected. Four adults. One bacon cheeseburger one chicken burger one taco salad and one salmon. A tasty Burrata board to start. Everyone was happy with their meal and with the service. Onion rings are amazing. What soured all of us was being rushed out the door. We paid the bill. Tipped 20% and we were still getting caught up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. First the waiter came back and asked if there was anything else he could do. Then the lead waiter stopped by and asked the same question. Then a few minutes after that the hostess swung by and asked if there was anything else and finally the manager came by with the same question. This was over a span of about 10 minutes. They obviously wanted the table. The dining area is small and they pack a lot of well-fed people into the space elbow to elbow. Turn over is important to them. Restrooms were clean! read more

Great service! I ordered their Bavarian pretzel as appetizer and it was fresh, soft and delicious!!! Couldn't stop thinking about it the next day! Lol. For main entree, I ordered their salmon with the mashed potatoes and veggies. It was awesome. Their chocolate dessert martini drink was on point! Came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was poppin the entire time we were there! They have a very extensive menu so I wanted to try multiple things-benefits of going with a few people cuz then you can split things! Not gonna lie tho, I was a little underwhelmed with the flavors of everything-it was all good but not great. I got the buffalo chicken flatbread solely cuz the pix I saw of it had me drooling...my flatbread did not look like these pix tho, they were not chincy on the toppings at all but it was way more doughy than I was expecting-still good tasting tho. I also split the fried artichokes which were tasty and not greasy, tater kegs-awesome and the gourmet Mac and cheese with pecan bacon-I'm confused what makes it 'pecan' as it tasted like regular bacon to me. The Mac and cheese was good tho and a huge portion size but next time I would def get a different topping instead of bacon. For dessert I split the peanut butter pie and it was excellent but someone else got the brownie sundae and it tasted like a boxed Duncan Hines brownie-kinda dry. The prices are reasonable and service was phenomenal from the hostess to the waiter (Alex? I think) everybody was EXTREMELY friendly! Ohh, drinks! I got the Apple mojito-delish, no hint of an Apple taste at all tho! My bf got the fuzzy melon ball, sugary and sweet but good. place is Awesome! Our waitress Brianna was so attentive and friendly. The whole staff was asking if everything was good... etc and it was a busy time. We ordered the kegger tots so delicious. I got their ribs which fell right if the bone so delicious and the sauce mmmm. My husband got their porter house.. he says it was good and cooked perfectly. We also got several drinks... the white sangria... superfruit margarita and then the Holbrook lemonade... all were so good and nice amount of alcohol lol. My hubby got a chocolate martini and said it was nice. Dessert was amazing I had the peanut butter pie.. which was so rich and amazing. Amazing staff, wonderful bar service with extensive selections of beers in particular. I would have given 5 stars, however their wine list is lacking. Otherwise, we highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family, and are very frequent guests. Their lunch specials, particularly the soups, are wonderful, and the chicken sandwiches are a favorite with everyone. It does get quite loud on weekend evenings, but the front porch area and outdoor dining in clement weather is the best. read more

Expansive menu and surprisingly good... everything! I was hesitant to order penne alla vodka when they had a variety of so much food but not so much in the way of Italian. I'm so glad I went for it! It seemed fresh, had the perfect amount of garlic, and served in a very generous portion. Members in my party also enjoyed the shepherd's pie, chicken kabobs, and chicken wings. We really wanted to like Karvers it's a casual place, people friendly and good parking. Unfortunately, we give Karvers a thumbs down, would not recommend and would not return. We ordered 2 orders of Fillet Mignon meal with mashed potato and vegetable. I was surprised when the orders were brought to the table. Clearly we were served sirloin steak and my steak was rare and not medium as requested. When I spoke to the waitress about the meat cut/temperature mistake she said, "oh that's our cut of fillet mignon"? At $36.00 per meal if you are charging that high of a price, customers deserve the cut requested, quality and temperature to be right. My meat was none of those things. I then asked to speak to the manager and she came over, apologized because she could clearly see that the meat, was really rare/borderline uncooked when I had asked for medium. But I also asked about the cut of meat and only said she would ask the cook, but only returned to say the $36 amount was taken off of the bill. She never came back to address the cut of meat? Also, she never changed the $36 price of the 2nd order, it was cooked right, (Medium well) but still not the right cut of meat? 3 of us at the table looked at and tasted the meat. The meat was tough, rubbery, chewy and the size of my hand. Fillet mignon cuts like easy like butter and is usually small because of price. The meat size was larger my hand. My grandfather was a butcher, he would have laughed at what was called fillet mignon today. This was not a good first impression of Karvers. UPDATE : Managements generic reply is disappointing - A mistake was made regarding the cut of meat we were given. Instead of taking responsibility, the reply given is "we would not misrepresent our food". It was a mistake, for a $36.00 charge for a meal, they should have gotten it right, they didn't. We will never give Karvers another opportunity for our business. read more

This place has always been a Friday night staple for us.... But lately not so much. First off... the hostesses that worked this past Saturday were HORRIBLE! Didn't greet us, walked us to table and threw menus on table and walked away. When we were leaving, they just watched us walk out and never said... have a good night or thanks for coming. It was actually awkward. On to the drinks. Both my husband and I ordered coconut mojitos... and we both agreed, not even a trace of liquor could be tasted. This isn't the first time this has happened. I once had to send a drink back for the same reason. They pour light, do save your money and order a soda. Lastly, their prices have increased dramatically! I was shocked to see how much they have gone up but the food was really good!!! And I highly recommend the French onion soup, it was delicious! I won't stop going here because of this one time... I'll give it another shot but the hostesses need to be trained on how to greet customers and send them off. read more

After coming in here I realized I had been here for dinner last winter and it was just as good this time. The service at the bar was great. The bartender constantly checked in, I believe it was Shane and the runner was also very friendly as the food came out quick. I had their signature salad which was loaded with big veggies. Bruschetta (I think?? Mozzarella cheese with balsamic and bread...) appetizer 10/10 SOOOO GOOD. Chicken pot pie was highly disappointing 2/10 - it was not a PIE, it is a skillet meal. Also didn't like the massive amount of rosemary in it. The pasta entrees have a great portion size. Burger was average.
