Veggie omelette with home fries and toast
    Deana J.

Hubby and I stopped in since am we have a pick up down the road. We travel the country and always judge places by the omelets. This place in fabulous. But that's only part of it. When we walked in we both got the feeling we should do something nice for someone. It's strange that we were both hit with that feeling, then I read the reviews and several of them talk about recieving a Random act of Kindness. Something about this place must inspire that. I got the veggie omelet and hubby got meat lovers, they were both amazing. I was also given a choice if I wanted my home fries done on the grill or fryer, I have never had the option and it was great. Service was very friendly and attentive. We will be back!!! I love the atmosphere that makes people want to be nice.

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of cole slaw.

Apparently Karyn would had worked at "Dan's Place" bought the place from Dan a few years ago, and changed the name to "Karyn's Kitchen". I'm not sure who Dan was, but it still seems to be veteran friendly. I stopped by here one day at 1:45pm for a late lunch, only to be disappointed that they close at 2pm. I decided to come back another day and ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of cole slaw. The slaw was deliciously sweet and with the right amount of tanginess. I'd say more similar to KFC cole slaw than not. The half-pound of ground beef made the burger a clear winner for me. Shredded (vice sliced) cheese added to the visual appeal, though the 2 thinly sliced pickles was disappointing. I suppose I was expecting a pickle spear, but in any case it was very filling. I convince my colleagues that Karyn's wasn't bad. So my colleague suggests going together. I ordered a Pastrami sandwich with cole slaw and extra pickels. My sandwich comes with 3 thinly sliced pickles. I suppose technically 3 pickle slices is 50% more than 2, but come on...just one extra pickle? LOL. Not a deal breaker at all, but then I'm told that they don't have anymore cole slaw, so I get the onion rings instead. When the checks come out, I attempt to pay my bill only to find out I had received one of those Random Acts of Kindness. That totally took me off guard. I've been challenged to pay it forward. Challenge Accepted! I'll update this review to describe it.

The service was good everyone was nice and made sure we had everything it all cane fast i ordered bacon 2 servings of french toast pancakes and a egg and cheese it was all fast hot and delicious would recommend

What a cute restaurant! Excellent service and the food is delicious! I had the Irish Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Hungry. Both we're fantastic. As a former Sous Chef I give this place my stamp of approval.

"Eggs Irish". Hash Benedict. Mouth watering. EPIC

Went in on a Sunday morning. Not good. Not bad. Seemed to lack atmosphere and the food was just OK.

Toppings (sausage and mushroom) were few and far between, especially the mushrooms which were almost nonexistent. Toppings, sauce, and cheese came only half-way to the edge, just dough after that. Top was way over-browned to the point where the cheese was disagreeably chewy. And I'm not sure if this was meant to be a thin-crust or a deep-dish pizza because it was both: thin in the middle half and three times thicker in parts of the outer half. Obviously whoever prepared this has no clue to how to do it properly. The ONLY good thing I can say about this mess is the dough itself was fresh and had a good texture. It wasn't just one. We were a group of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Everybody agreed they were bad. They should be ashamed to serve these. Didn't anybody notice leaving the kitchen they were unservable? So I would never consider here for take-out. But we were here for trivia night so maybe I'd try again to have something to eat while playing? But next time if they come out like that I'd be refusing delivery and demanding a new one - that's for sure. As far as the trivia, I might not return for that either. The room was very loud from the crowd, and the announcer's microphone never did work properly so it was very hard to hear. And, knowing how many good wines and beers they sell in the general store on the first floor, it is painful to have a choice of just 5 very generic wines upstairs. Why can't they offer all the wines from downstairs, with a reasonable mark-up for restaurant purchase of course?

The coffee and tea were both very smooth. The pork hash was really flavorful and well cooked. The barbecue sauce is on the sweeter side and at certain bites dominated the flavor profile. something in the dishes made us super lethargic afterwards. i don't normally daytime nap but took one when i got home.

It seems that everyone just knows that if you want donuts nearby, you go here and not Dunkin. I've been to the store a couple of times but there's nothing particular to write about. Just plain white interior and pretty old. A couple of tables I think, and a fridge. You're really just meant to pop in and out with a box of donuts. Parking is totally effortless. The lot outside is MASSIVE and shared with several other businesses. Honestly, I never see any cars in front of the other businesses either. Park anywhere you like. Hell, do a couple of laps before you consume all those calories! I won't wax poetic going through each donut because many other reviews have probably already sold you on the incredible quality being served here. But I want to give a shoutout that their Raspberry Fritters and Apple Fritters are world-class and everyone needs to try them. From checking their other reviews, it seems I need to expand my horizons and try out their Twists, Pine Cones, and Bear Claws.
