Came to celebrate my MIL. Restaurant was not crowded when we got there and we were seated right away. We were given menus and our order was taken shortly after. I had the bo luc lac special plate. My understanding is com tam means broken rice well there didn't seem to be any broken rice in any our dishes. I know my dish was on a different menu but hubby's and the kids' plate were under the com tam menu but no broken rice on their dish. The other parts of the dish were good, fairly decent. Now for my dish the bo luc lac was a bit tough and chewy. There were plenty of grilled onions which I enjoy and the sauce but the meat I did not enjoy as much. My son and daughter shared a dish of rice and beef and my youngest shared with my MIL noodles with beef and shrimp. Overall it was an ok visit. Ambience was ok not too loud and I remember Golden played which my kids enjoyed.

Delicious food and friendly staff! Service was quick too. We've been here a couple times now and the quality of the food has been consistently amazing.

First time trying this place and we are impressed. Portions are good for the price and meats are all marinated perfectly. The tofu skins were very crispy. Service is also amazing for a Vietnamese restaurant compared to others. Didn't get to try the egg rolls this time around but it looks like they use rice paper as the wrap which is my favorite. Will definitely come back next time we're in town.

The best com tam restaurant in OC in terms of consistency and flavorful BBQ meats and toppings. My favorite is the thit nuong and the egg cake, but everything is delicious here. I've been going here since they opened - many years ago! Absolutely love this place. Easy parking. Family owned restaurant. Please come and create your own experience.

So many options for com tam (broken rice) here! Since I've been eating that a lot, I wanted to try something new and got a different Vietnamese dish. I got the Pho Tai Nam Sach which happens to not be listed on the menu, but they were able to do it for me! The meat, broth, and noodles were really good together! I wish there were more veggies on the plate instead of majority bean sprouts and thai basil, but it was still good nonetheless. I'll have to try this place again when I'm craving com tam.

Portions are huge! Big enough to share or eat all by yourself if you are feeling hungry. Broken rice 5/5 the sauce is perfect! The egg is cooked perfectly, it's not too hard or soggy. I wish the picked vegetables were in chunks instead of shreds but this is just a preference of mine. Overall everything was really yummy

I love to come here and eat bun cha ha noi. It's really good and the workers are friendly to me.

This is a mom and pop restaurant that does not get enough attention. It's been around more than 20 years but away from the heart of Little Saigon. The interior is a bit old but it is very clean and the food is very good - especially for the price. The restaurant is never too full so a quiet place for a nice, affordable meal. They have the best tau hu my here and the suon nuong is delicious. The service is also very attentive because they don't have too many customers. I would come back for the com tam (broken rice dishes) and combos. Parking is also very easy here!

This establishment is a staple in the Vietnamese community and personally my favorite Com Tam restaurant that beats out others on Bolsa Ave in Westminster. This restaurant has been run by the same family for a few decades and their food has been consistently delicious throughout the years! Their service is very friendly and welcoming to non-Vietnamese speakers. My go to order is Combo #2 which comes with a side of soup broth, rice, bbq pork, shredded pork skin, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp paste wrapped in bean curd skin, steamed egg loaf, and pickled carrot & daikon. The portion size is HUGE and can feed me for two meals. Although this restaurant specializes in com tam, their other Vietnamese dishes are great if you're not in the mood for rice. Some of my go to orders are: -Egg rolls: they use rice paper wrappers instead of the traditional egg roll wrappers to make the egg rolls extra crunchy! -Korean bbq ribs: Their marinade is bomb and portion size is generous -Mi quang -pho -Bun rieu

Called and order pick up from this place today. The food quality was very very mid. I guess that's why it's so cheap. $13 for the pork chop broken rice. The lady on the front was very nice. The pork chop was super dry and has no taste. Fish sauce was really watered down. I will not repeat. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a budget.

Food is fresh and portions are decent. This place is known for their com tam which are their rice dishes, however they also serve pho and banh hoi and other varieties. We ordered an appetizer of chagio which was their fried eggrolls, banh hoi thit nuong tau hau ky, and com tam bi cha suon. Everything tasted so good and exactly how traditional vietnamese restaurants would taste back then. Their fish sauce wasnt spicy either which was good and they kept the place clean. I would definitely come back.

I think this place tries to do everything instead of specializing in one thing. Easy seating on a Sunday for lunch. We had a couch and a couple of soft chairs. Quick service, but they only checked on us at the beginning. We ended up ordering a coconut mango dream, which didn't look like the very polished photo on their Yelp. Taste was okay. Not very strong on the coconut or mango taste. The toasted coconut on top was nice though. We ordered the banh xeo tacos, hu tieu (dry), rice porridge with fried donut, and spring rolls. The hu tieu was decent. The noodles could have used more seasoning. The broth on the side was delicious though. I liked the toppings. My son loved slurping the noodles. Same with the rice porridge, though it had more flavor than the hu tieu. The donut in there was pretty good too. The spring rolls were basic. I did like how the carrots inside were pickled and added a bit of tang. The banh xeo tacos were interesting. Nice and crispy. I didn't anticipate all of the mushrooms, but it was good. Definitely needed the sauce. Interesting place to try!
