This place deserves more attention and recognition ! Service was so good. The lady was so nice and kind. She checked in on us often enough to make sure things are okay. Flavor is good, clean presentation and portion is just right. I got a Mi Vit Tiem Kho and Mi Xao Don and loved both of them.

    Bun Dau Mam Tom

Saw this on Yelp and the menu looked interesting. Decided to give it a try. The restaurant was decorated simple and clean. The service was great. We ordered the following: Coconut sea snails Thai seafood noodles Bun dau mam Tom Pho with rare beef, tripe and beefball Coconut sea snails were delicious. My mom enjoyed her Thai seafood noodles. My daughter loved her custom pho with rare beef, tripe and beefball. The pho broth was tasty and had depths. I decided to be adventurous and ordered Bun dau mam Tom. I never had this before and wasn't sure how to eat it. It came with fish sauce, shrimp paste sauce and a bowl of sugar. The vermicelli came in cube shape which threw me off. I thought I had to wrap it with lettuce. I asked the owner and he said to mix it in a bowl. This dish included fried tofu, sliced pork, eggrolls, pork sausage, green sticky rice patties and herbs. I mixed in the ingredients in a bowl with fish sauce and it was good. The shrimp paste was too salty and I didn't use the sugar. I would be back to try other items.

ORDER banh canh tom cua (3/5) the presentation was good. the portions were huge and was well worth the price. the shrimp and pork were perfectly cooked. unfortunately, the broth had no flavor. i also tried the nui and bun dau mam tom. the nui lacked flavor as well. the sauce for the bun dau mam tom was too salty. SERVICE friendly service. AMBIANCE there's a front and back section to the restaurant. the hallway that leads to the back of the restaurant felt a bit cramped.

Mì sủi cảo khô ở đây ngon, thơm và đậm đà gia vị. Nước soup cũng ngon nhưng nếu được nóng hơn một tý thì sẽ ngon hơn. My family absolutely loves the dry noodles here. The noodles were cooked to perfection--aromatic and bursting with flavor. The accompanying bowl of broth was delicious, though it would have been even better if it was served hotter. We weren't sure if it was a promotion, but every meal came with a complimentary small dessert. We enjoyed every bite of it The service here is fantastic. This small family-run business truly shines. Both husband and wife were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure their customers are cared for. My family will definitely return to support this gem of a place. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend making the effort to check it out!

Went here for the first time because I saw they had duck noodle soup and ALL the food is amazing! The grilled oyster with salted egg was fresh and were huge, escargot was also super fresh, and the soup was so hearty and delicious, the duck was perfectly tender as well. They have a ton of Viet street food options that I'll have to be back to try. Staff is super kind and accommodating and even gave us dessert, newer place so def check them out!

We came here for breakfast and everything on the menu sounded very promising and delicious. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very subpar. We ordered: - Canh Bún - Mi Vit - Balut in Tamarind - Boiled Balut (not pictured) - Banh Mi Nuong - Mi ga kho (not pictured) The gentleman who took our order was very kind and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, I was disappointed when we were served raw balut. Upon pointing it out, instead of replacing it with a freshly cooked one, the staff reheated the same one, which ultimately looked quite unappetizing. The canh bún looked appealing, but the broth was bland, and the riêu (crab meat) was spongy, lacking the texture and flavor typically found in canh bún. A touch of tomato flavor would have made a big difference. The mì vịt was decent, though the duck was slightly dry. Lastly, the bánh mì nướng fell short of expectations. It was tough, could have been crispier and thinner, and was overly heavy on the mayo. We were offered free soft drinks in exchange for a 4 star review. In the end, I declined the gesture because I could not honestly give them 4 stars for the food or service. Overall, I was not impressed with Ta La Kitchen. Not sure if I would consider going back. They seem fairly new so I hope they consider improving the quality of food.

This is one of those restaurants where your belly is full and your heart is filled. For someone who's indecisive, it took me a while to decide as they do offer an extensive menu. The portion was generous and the food tastes like homemade which I love. They also offered these yummy jelly dessert after you're done eating. I ordered a coffee togo after and it was strong!! I'm still thinking about the generous size. You can definitely tell the owner cares about their customers and wants to make sure what you're paying is worth the price especially in this economy!!Will keep supporting this type of establishment where hospitality is prioritized.

Great service and enjoyable food. They have a ton of seafood dishes and their food was very tasty. It's a smaller place, but I highly recommend you try this place. Parking can be a challenge as it is in a busier shopping plaza, but there is always a space somewhere in the lot.

Had the roasted duck noodle soup with wontons. Soup was amazing really enjoyed the broth and noodles was very good. Staff was fast and very nice. Restaurant was clean. The Bahn mi were ok it was all about yhe noodle soup.

The food is amazing, but I didn't take any pictures of any main dishes. I would recommend the Banh Canh Tom Cua and Banh Canh Phong Tom. If you looking for late night snacks the Cajun fries and fried chicken are really good quality. Highly recommend. The place is small but cozy.

Hi . What is the maximum capacity at your restaurant?

Where is it located? We called 10x and no one pick up the calls. We Google map and when we arrived we don't see it ? Did we missed something?

I can see it from Bolsa Ave. it's in the building closest to Bushard St and Bolsa Ave. next door to POSE Salon. It looks like main entrance is in the back where the parking spaces are. I'll post a photo of the front entrance.

Easily one of the best lobster rolls I've had in a long time. What really stood out to me was the quality of the food and the level of service. All three were loaded with a really generous amount of lobster, definitely not skimpy, and at around $22 each, I thought the portions were pretty good for the price. The Connecticut Style was my favorite. The lobster is served warm and poached in butter, with just a touch of mayo, green onions, and Old Bay. I really liked the combination of the warm buttery lobster with the creaminess from the mayo. The Maine Style is served cold with lemon aioli and celery, while the Classic Butter is warm buttered lobster with Old Bay. Both were good, but I'd order the Connecticut again without hesitation. If you're a lobster lover, this is a fun spot because you can try the different styles and actually taste the difference. Connecticut Style = the winner for me!

Or maybe they like the cuisine, but for health reasons they've been told to avoid eating it. I know for me I just haven't come around to a lot of Asian cuisines that are focused on high vegetable and low protein content. But to this day Toby and I have never shared a seafood boil together. She has a germaphobe reaction to eating food with her hands and there's no easy way to knife-and-fork stuff like shrimp, crawfish, crab, or lobster. She's offered to get something else like fish n' chips or a plain steak or something, while I get myself a boil. However, one of the joys of boils is digging into a mound of Cajun-flavored seafood together as a group effort. A wondrous temple to the art like Roux Seafood Kitchen would be wasted on her. I couldn't get enough of their shrimp and crawfish. They were both plump, flavorful, and disassembled easy in my hands. At a lb. each, I was more than stuffed at meal's end. I think the only thing that could've made it better is if I had ordered a lobster tail in there. That would've been my ideal order. The service was great here for my party. The drinks were refilled quickly, the food was brought out in an efficient manner, and even the order taking was controlled in what kind of have been haphazard conditions. I liked the ambiance too. The dining room was a spacious and accommodating. The music was low. And the crowds were busy but not super full, which is where I like it. Nobody was on top of each other at neighboring tables and the noise level wasn't drowning. All in all, I think this is the perfect example of a seafood boil joint. The only thing that could've made it better is if my oldest eating buddy (and ex) could've miraculously gotten over her condition and joined me. That's the dream.

Along with that, our table also ordered: the quail with sticky rice ($20.99), salted fish and shrimp fried rice ($24.99), shaken beef with garlic noodles ($22.99), bok choy with sautéed garlic ($12.99), a hot tea ($4.00), Coca-Cola ($5.50), a mojito ($15.00), and a margarita ($15.00). With tax ($17.71), our ticket was $209.16 before gratuity. The NOLA Grilled Oysters come sizzling on a hot griddle, with four different fillings, four pieces each, for a total of 16 oysters. The price might seem a bit indulgent, but not if you consider the effort and ingredients that go into this presentation. Each type was flavorful, and there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. The salted fish fried rice was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the dish, though the salted fish was less salty than I expected. Someone in our group, who usually doesn't like salted fish fried rice because they find it too salty, actually liked this version for its milder flavor. The plate also includes four large shrimp. The shaken beef was tasty and tender; the garlic noodles were al dente and had just enough garlic--not excessive. The sautéed garlic added a smoky, nutty taste to the bok choy. The quail was marinated well and tasted good--but I wonder if it was fried just a bit too long. After this meal, I chatted with a friend who lives in the community. He'd been to this spot before but dismissed it as just another seafood boil joint. After our conversation, though, he said he'd be willing to give it another shot. I guess your impression of this restaurant depends, at least in part, on what you order. The service, by the way, was excellent.
