Summary: best cabinet and floor store, service, and installation we found in The Bay. Purchased kitchen, bathroom, and laundry cabinets, vanities, and sinks, as well as SPC vinyl flooring. I would describe the cabinets as good quality (one or two levels below super expensive luxury level) for a good value price (ie, good value!). Flooring was cheaper here than at other dedicated flooring stores. Lead times were generally good (times given were accurate and competitive), though two cabinet fronts were delayed after ordering (see below). Worked with Kevin Fu, who was absolutely great. He responded quickly and had helpful design suggestions. We really appreciated his laid back style that didn't put any pressure on us to make decisions ASAP and he didn't waste any of our time. Delayed cabinets: Kassa covered the installation for free (after the cabinet fronts arrived) so our project was able to move forward without issue. The Kassa tech even came back a week later to mend holes (since he didn't have the correct color at the time of the installation) and make one more adjustment to another cabinet that wasn't closing well. read more

First of all, in order to do a kitchen and bathroom remodel project, one needs to pick 2 companies. One is for coming up with a design, and managing the procurement of the materials used for the project, which includes kitchen sink, slabs, backsplash tiles, cabinets, vanity set. The other is the construction company where you hire a team of contractors to execute on the plan of designs and uphold the standards of quality of work. Johnny and Julie @KASSA has been instrumental for our Kitchen/Bathroom remodel project. What we really like about the whole project is it took less than 7 days to complete, from start to finish. The team really worked tirelessly to communicate with us on the roadblocks as well as progress and updated ETAs on various phrases of the project. In the initial design, and material procurement stage, Julie has been extremely helpful as she meticulously tried her best to give us options on picking the best valued materials and designs to not only minimize on the overall cost, but also delivers on the most valued option based on the some of the more appealing and contemporary looking designs from past projects. All that resulted in my trust in her suggestions on which materials to procure and which route to take in terms of building out the cabinets. Another example is whether we should build out a customized vanity set from scratch and how to save the costs of the countertop slab should we choose this route. Johnny, on the other hand, remains very pragmatic and gave us updates when we face unexpected roadblocks on issues with the cabinets and carpets. We had a very unique problem in trying to turn a hexagonal shape into a 90-degree rectangle. I don't think it's an easy problem to describe in the first place. And it's not a unique problem to our unit at Mission Terrace of Santa Clara. I believe there are 201 more units that has the same problem should there is another owner finds the problem worthy to spend money to upgrade. The merit of straightening out the slab to make it a 90-degree rectangle is to make more rooms on the drawers on the opposite end. And Johnny and Julie came up with a solution that really satiates our desires to make the space more useful and more modern so that it's more appealing to people using the space after all. In conclusion, I think there are definitely some competitions out there whether you're picking a construction company from SF or Hayward. We ended up hiring a construction team that is part of the KASSA team. But, the bottom line is the overall satisfaction that can be delivered to you as a package, i.e., Julie, Johnny, and the construction team from KASSA, in terms of ROI and value-added, I don't think you can select any other combinations of construction companies and material sellers like KZ Kitchen Cabinet & Stone, UNI - Marble & Granite INC and exceed the value you can get in return from KASSA. Without a doubt, I truly recommend KASSA to help with your kitchen & bathroom remodel project needs. read more

I really wanted to love Kassa. We used their vanity for our bathroom remodels. While their customer service is on point, their products simply are not. The cabinet drawers are terrible to say the least as was one of the three integrated sinks we both. We were able to return the sink (great customer service) but now have to deal with and live with the cabinets. The finishes and the work of the cabinets are just not worth it. I would not use their products unless it's for a space sparingly used or maybe a rental. read more
