    Challah French Toast - Traditional

Great service and a cute ambiance. French toast and croissant were very good as well and a cappuccino. Would recommend for a good breakfast spot if in the area.

A restaurant that bans the use of cell phones inside is run by over-the-top controlling people. I understand not wanting people to watch a video with volume on or otherwise make noise with their phone that might disturb others. But what business is it of the restaurant owners if I check for texts, write an email, look at photos, or read the New York Times on my phone while I sit silently at a table by myself, eating my lunch? Not allowing food or drinks from other establishments -- sure, what restaurant doesn't have that rule? But telling me I can't use the $1,000 hand-held computer I take with me everywhere? No thank you! I'm disappointed because I've liked this restaurant, even though the service is inconsistent. But I won't go back as long as this ridiculous sign is still hanging.

What a great day to sit in the patio at Katherine's. If there wasn't so much noise that's coming from University, this would be a perfect spot to feel like dining in a cafe in Paris. The background music at the right volume soothed me. I met up with a friend of mine at this place for a brunch at 10:30am on a Saturday. From the past experience, I knew it might be hard to grab a table during the peak time in the morning especially on a Saturday. I needn't worry; there were a good number of tables available inside and outside. This place has everything: from benedicts to crepes to quiches to French toasts to fruit cups to salads, I mean you name it. Out of so many items on the menu, my friend and I went with crepes. I went with Boulder (crepe). It's got sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, haystack goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes. I asked for an addition of one-egg scrambled. My friend went with Breakfast (crepe) (bacon, egg and cheese) with avocado addition. Just so you know, they have both savory and sweet crepes. My crepe was amazingly good; A little tanginess that comes from the sun-dried tomatoes did the magic by adding a great flavor to the entire dish. And both hers and mine crepes were a good size (we couldn't finish it so we asked for boxes.) Now, this place got busy after 11:30am. It took such a long time before our waitress got us the boxes and the bill (because she was busting her bottom.) We were very understanding of it; it appeared a little short-staffed and fortunately, we had time. We, of course, stopped by at the display of cakes and pastries to look at before walking away from the restaurant. Everything looked amazing but I went with the lemon tart. My friend got her a chocolate croissant. There was a huge display of Eiffel Tower built with Lego pieces (which had a sign that said "Do not touch"); I took a picture of it. Cookies that are shaped like Eiffel Tower were very cute.

I had the chance to visit Denver and this place made the experience even better. I was able to try their espresso (which I found it hard to find good espresso in Denver), banana Nutella crepe, and their apple/brie omelette. The food and service was amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience. When I visit Denver again, this restaurant will be my first stop for good coffee and fresh food!

4.5 stars out of 5. Parking may be a little difficult to find. They have a lot that may be close to full. The ambiance was nice and clean. The service was professional. The food was excellent. We ordered a cappuccino and chai latte. The drinks were enjoyable. We ordered a full croissant sandwich and a full omelette. The croissant was made to perfection. The sandwich was excellent. My wife enjoyed the omelette very much. Quality over quantity. We also enjoyed the Swan Choux for dessert. It was delicious.

Katherine's French bakery knocked our anniversary pavlova out of the park! Perfectly crispy meringue, smooth cream, and fresh fruit to top it all off. My husband was thrilled! They also went above and beyond by upgrading the size of our pavlova for free! So darn kind of them. We will for sure be back to try more of their delicious looking desserts/bakery items.

I really wanted to love Katherine's, as it's one of the only French style bakeries around, but unfortunately, I found it underwhelming. Restaurant is small, but not overly crowded, which is a plus. Came for a late lunch and it took a few minutes to get seated but nothing crazy. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side of pasta salad. The chicken salad was okay, but nothing special. I was hoping for a more flavorful experience, but it was comparable to any grocery store deli, really. The croissant was buttery and delicious, which salvaged the meal. The pasta salad was very dry, and I wanted to ask for extra dressing, but the server wasn't anywhere to be found. Given the lackluster experience thus far, I opted against getting dessert, mainly because I didn't want to be disappointed again after my lunch, but maybe that's where they shine. I'll have to try again and just get a pastry.

AMAZING!! The food was so good. Me and my roommate dined in. You can definitely tell this is a family owned place because you can tell they care and you can taste it as well. Staff is so nice and very knowledgeable about the menu and give great recommendations tailored to what you may like. Very calm and cute environment. Highly recommend to bring friends and family here! Keep in mind it is small family owned place, wouldn't recommend for large parties.

Went around noon and they were out of croissants. Our server was new so things took a bit longer to get. My sandwich had hard avo so I had to take it out. My coffee cup was so small that after 3 sips it was out. I sat at the patio which was nice and pleasant. I'll definitely go again maybe a bit earlier this time.

Great omelettes, coffee and croisants in a neighborhood setting. Also a bakery with a great selection of sweets.

Even with a full house, the place was very quiet, people respected the "wfh coffee shop" culture, and did not seem to be talking loudly or taking meetings. The drinks were great, not too fancy, but my Matcha was yummy. We also tried a gluten-free zucchini bread and a lemon pound cake which really hit the spot. Prices are pretty fair, and I had no issue finding street parking even on Broadway, although I had a busier time of day, I can imagine it might be more difficult. The inside looks nice and clean, definitely a great place to sit with lots of tables and the baristas seemed friendly and patient as we debated our drink choice! My only recommendation to the shop is to clean up the menu a little bit, i got confused when i was looking at because it had a latte section and a "tea mocktail" and "coffee mocktail" section which where both larger than the latte selection. I think instead doing a tea selection a coffee selection and a smaller mocktail selection would make more sense. I also wish there were a few more season latte options to choose from! Other than that, great place and worth the stop if you are sick of bitter espresso and a lack of flavor in your latte! This place does not disappoint!
