My wife and I were finally able to stop into Katsu Burger for lunch while in the area. Free parking can be found in the lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is small and similar to a teriyaki joint. Basically, a brick-and-mortar fast-food type of establishment. There is a bit of outdoor seating as well. All transactions are done at the counter. Katsu Burger does not offer any alcohol. During our visit we ordered the Pork Banzai Bites for $6.95. We actually wasted/tossed this item due to the flavorless and toughness of the pork. My wife ordered the Ohayou Gozaimasu for $13.95: Beef Katsu, Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Tonkatsu Sauce and Japanese Mayo.

I ordered the Godzilla Attack Spicy with Chicken for $12.50: 12 Spice Sprinkled on Chicken Katsu, Jalapenos (pickled), Pepper Jack Cheese, Tonakatsu Sauce and Spicy Mayo. I ordered my burger without a bun and all the burger toppings....

I was disappointed that the jalapenos were pickled rather than freshly sliced. After trying the pork, beef and chicken, we both decided that the chicken was the better tasting of them all. Overall, Katsu Burger did not impress either one of us. Staff wasn't friendly. Establishment is a bit run-down. Food was mediocre. Prices are fair. If we ever stop here again, I will be sure to take my order home to enjoy.

My husband got the ninja deluxe and I got the wasabi, both with beef. They were huge and everything was super fresh. We did have it delivered so I think next time we would pop in as it's always better fresh from the store.

Yum! Stopped after a long hike, very hungry. Had the classic with fries and a milkshake-- not inexpensive but worth it. Fresh bun, lots of toppings and a good patty of meat. Green Tea shake was great too.

If you've been to any other Kastsu burger, this one is on par. We got a classic chicken katsu burger and katsu nuggets with fries. Fries weren't impressive unfortunately, but that could be because we got it Togo. Burger was delicious. Soft fluffy bread and fresh veggies. Don't skip their sauces. We really enjoy Katsu burger LS. The burgers are always crispy and fresh. I visited the Lynnwood location years ago and it was fabulous. First time at this location and the food was great. Small venue and limited seating inside, however I did notice picnic tables outside. Lots of door dash orders and take out. The cashier was multi-tasking and wasn't able to take our order right away. We ordered a Tokyo classic, ninja deluxe, nori fries, and two beers. Once we paid we went to a pretty empty beverage cooler. We paid for beer but there was no cold beer. I opted to pay for a soda and get a refund for beer and the cashier wanted to swap the soda for beer! That was a $4 price difference, so no thank you! Took her a while to refund it but it all worked out. Anyway, our burgers were crispy and yummy, food was good. Overall 5 star for food, 3 star for drinks, and 3 star for customer service.

We tried this place for the first time and will definitely be back. I had a take-out order and everyone loved their food. The burgers and fries tasted good, had an impressive presentation, and the milkshakes were a hit! Considering how great the experience was, the standout was the service. I can only assume based on the receipt that the person I worked with was YUKYUNG JUNG. Huge shout out to her for being personable and professional. They have a kiosk for taking the orders and it would have been easy for her to rely on the electronics to complete the task...that didn't happen. She greeted me warmly and made sure everything was taken care of promptly. We will be back!

Was excited to try the burgers here and they did not disappoint! Definitely loaded with toppings and even the side of fries had enough flavor I didn't even need the sauce for dipping. We also got the banzai bites (chicken and pork) and they were good with the tonkatsu, nori ranch and spicy mayo sauce. The woman who took are order was super sweet and helped us order since it was our first time. Definitely will fill you up and worth the price. After getting 2 burger meals (fries and a shake/bottled soda) and 2 orders of the banzai bites it cost us 73$ after a tip.

Would have driven by without stopping, but our neighbors recommended Katsu Burger. The whole experience was awesome. The fries are amazing and make sure to try the delish sauces (I'm looking at you curry mayo). Also try the croquettes- absolutely craveable!!! I will be coming back! read more

Just a small hole in the wall, BUT big on flavors and they don't skimp on the fries like most of the big name fast food joints are putting in front of us these days. My first visit was awesome, I had the GODZILLA, it sounds like it's HOT, but just puts a nice warmth in your mouth. Not burning hot. But my wife might think otherwise. If you're use to spicy you won't have an issue. It's a tall burger, put your palm on it and smash it down. Good stuff. I will be back. read more

SO GOOD. We had Katsu Burger for the first time tonight, and we are so excited to have discovered it! I had the Ninja Deluxe with chicken, and my husband had the Godzilla Attack with beef and a side of fries. It was fresh and uniquely flavorful- we can't wait to go back! I will say that the sea salt fries are extremely salty, so if you're someone who doesn't enjoy extra salty fries I would maybe try another side. read more

I thought cabbage would be strange, I was wrong, it's better. Japanese mayo, better. Tonkatsu sauce, better. Fried katsu burger, best. You won't be disappointed in the size, taste, or service here. All the staff i've encountered have been lovely. These are my family's favorite burgers in Lake Steven's. We highly recommend the teriyaki chicken katsu. read more

Delicious!! Yesterday was my first visit, I got the basic (classic?) burger except w chicken and also the hot (Godzilla?) w chicken. Both were outstanding! I also ordered the fries with 12 spice and ranch dressing. Quite possibly the best fries I've ever had and the ranch dressing has nori, which was hard to identify but overall the ranch was really amazing. I'm going to try to return before the end of the month when they change their menu. I hope they keep these fries!! Sounds like the new burgers will be something different and delicious. Look forward to trying those as well. read more

I hope they figure out the outdoor seating situation. I do miss the German place that used to be here, but this joint is great as well. The young-in's tend to put too much salad on the burgers (even when I ask for none) but it's good eating even when I gotta scrape off that rabbit food. 12 spice fries are dank so get those for sure. My fav is the ninja delux, no tomatoes or lettuce. Seriously tho, lay off the lettuce and let those amazing pork patties shine. read more

Was a little bit bummed that the Brat place wasn't here anymore but was excited to try something new. I was very happy with my Tokyo classic burger, which is essentially a katsu beef patty, with a Japanese cabbage based slaw, pickles, pickled red onions, Japanese mayo, and tonkatsu sauce. It was delicious and the texture was perfect. They even pay homage to the Brat place by having German beer available and a deep fried Brat on the menu. Great addition to Lake Stevens. Keeping the spirit of the brat place alive with the fried brats and German beer, the katsu burgers are great and unique. Perfect texture, fun flavors, and I can still get my German beer fix with the Radeberger pilsner. And the nori fries are great too. read more

We were celebrating with my husband, our two young children, and my in-laws, so we were looking forward to a special brunch together. Our server, Shami, did not make us feel welcomed from the start. There was no introduction, greeting, or acknowledgment that it was Father's Day. The interaction felt very rushed and impersonal. When ordering mimosas, she brought the champagne to the table and asked whether we wanted to serve ourselves or have her do it, which felt unusual and left us unsure of what was expected. Throughout the meal, we consistently thanked her when food and drinks were brought out, but our comments were met with silence. There was little to no engagement, warmth, or hospitality during the service. While we understand everyone can have an off day, the overall experience felt cold and inattentive, especially for a special occasion. The food was good, and because we've had positive experiences here in the past, we're hopeful this was an isolated incident. However, service plays a big role in the dining experience, and this visit left us disappointed.

Usually i'm not a huge fan of Hawaiian pizza, but Sahara knocked it out of the park!
