Kava Hana!! Tried the Spicy Island Ramen $6.5 and it was pretty tasty! The mango lassi Kava Nector was interesting as well. Got a free candle along with purchase :)

Came to check out Kavahana on Saturday, we got a pitcher and a smoothie drink the smoothie was good. The pitcher was interesting. I wouldn't say this tastes great on own but in a drink It's masked. The service was really good, he explained everything and we took a little boost shot with him lol

Overall experience - 9/10 went to the place for their grand opening and was surprised by how good the drinks were. They allowed us to sample the hava nectar mango lassi. The staff was nice and was good at explaining all the drinks to us. Also loved the freebies that they gave which were the nice scented candles. Drink - The drink was good flavor and had a good Hojicha flavor. It tasted better with the coconut cream too. It wasn't too sweet. It was a good balance of creaminess and tea flavor. Experience - The shop was spacious and had a good amount of seating. It had a small and limited parking area in the shops plaza. There was some parking at the streets nearby but remember to read the parking signs I would come back to try more drinks.

I brought some friends visiting from out of town to Kavahana in Hollywood as a stop on a food and drink crawl through LA, and honestly Kavahana ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. I've been to the Kavahana in Santa Monica, but this was my first time at their new location in Hollywood. We went during the afternoon and the whole space had this warm Hawaiian tiki bar vibe with low lighting and really calming energy. The food and drinks were SO good. We got the basque cheesecake, the chocolate mille crepe cake, and spicy island ramen. The ramen was so good that we each had to reorder one for ourselves. It's ADDICTING. One of the kava nectaristas recommended I try their specialty lattes since we went earlier in the day, and I ended up getting the salted lava caramel with hojicha plus spirulina cream top. I have no idea how those flavors worked together so perfectly, but it was incredible. I usually only drink decaf in the afternoon, so the hojicha was great with mild caffeine. It was also my friends' first time trying Kava Nectar and they are VERY picky about drinks, but they LOVED the mixed drinks! Usually when I've gone to kava bars in places like Hawaii or Florida, the mixed drinks are made with kava extract, which honestly doesn't give the same feeling as real ground-root kava nectar and tastes artificial. I love that the drinks at Kavahana use the full kava root while still tasting amazing. You get the real calming, balanced, confident feeling from kava without sacrificing flavor. Definitely one of the most unique places I've taken visitors in LA!

Amazing experience. A beautiful place hidden spot of paradise in the middle of the chaos of Hollywood. Literally the most clean and serene and well kept secret I've ever stumbled across.

It has a cozy, tucked-away feel with plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to relax with a coffee. We ordered a mocha and a latte, and both were solid. They were well balanced and not overly sweet, which I always appreciate since you can actually taste the quality of the espresso. We spent some time enjoying the outdoor seating and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the visit. If you're in the Melrose area and looking for a good coffee shop to unwind, this is definitely worth stopping by.

This place is so cute that I've driven by it a million times thinking it was a fancy restaurant - not a cute hidden gem coffee shop! This particular shop is incredibly popular and always full but if you're lucky you'll get a seat in their adorable little outdoor area. They have some belly up counter style seats along the sidewalk and also a side garden with a few tables & chairs, plus some cute cushions on the steps for ground seating. Once again, I'm obsessed with the aesthetics at a Verve location. They really seem to focus on rustic wood vibes inside and incorporating nature in a fun way. I always love their flash nitro cold brew here. It's so smooth and refreshing! I also tried their matcha and loved it. Plus their chocolate chip sea salt cookie was money. I'm sure I'll be back to Verve in WeHo! Really enjoyed it yesterday.

We waited in line for about 45 minutes to an hour, only to find out that they ran out of sliders. We were incredibly disappointed. I wish they could have put up a sign of some sort to let everyone know they ran out. However, the place itself was nice, and I did end up getting a latte. I loved the latte, so that made up for the missing sliders to some degree. Although the latte was good, I don't see myself coming back due to the long wait and them being prone to running out of goods.

Do be aware that the cup is on the smaller side than most places. Unfortunately did not get to try the breakfast sliders everyone has talked about so I will be back to try those another time. The overall cafe is pretty small but it's a got a cool aesthetic. Has a nice seating area around the outside with shade. Do expect to wait in line and parking can be a challenge as most spots in the area are usually taken as it's street parking. Went on a Saturday afternoon and waited about 25 minutes. I don't think I would wait anymore than that for this place but it's worth checking out. The staff are very kind too.

I've been here a couple of times and thought it was time to review this establishment. Located at…read morethe busy intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax in West Hollywood; you won't be disappointed. It's a small space with a few tables inside with multiple large sliding glass doors that open onto the intersection on one side and a courtyard on the other side. It gives the place a nice urban feel with plenty of foot traffic outside and people watching. You order from one of the two kiosks outside of the kitchen. You select from the menu, make your payment, and assigned a number to notify you when your order is ready. They send messages to you via text. I was with a friend mid-afternoon on a Saturday. There was just a couple of people inside when we arrived. The evenings are usually busier with several people inside and on the outdoor courtyard which has a few tables. We both ordered cheesecake and we loved them. Very fresh, flavorful, and creamy in texture. I had the Oreo Cheesecake and my friend had the Mocha Cheesecake. My friend also had a Fusion Mocha Shake which he said tasted great with the right amount of mocha flavoring for his taste. We spoke to the owner/baker after we ate to compliment his desserts. I asked how business was and he said unfortunately slow. He mentioned how restaurants in general were having a hard time in the current uncertain economy. It has nothing to do with his products. The desserts and treats are great. If you can, give this spot a try. And the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the desserts. There's a promotion for new customers. Whatever amount you spend on your first visit, you earn that amount in credits towards your next purchase. It's all automated through your phone number. Open everyday until midnight. There are complimentary board games to play while dining. Limited parking in the plaza or street parking. It's great to have a quality dessert café in my neighborhood.

It's a petit venue with comfy couch seating, chairs and cute table that you can connect. We did that since there were about 7 of us. You order from the two kiosks or off of your phone so remember that they do not take cash as payment. There's so many fun options on the menus from scrumptious desserts, hot and cold beverages like teas and coffees. I had to have an iced boba beverage. So yummy. Our server who may also be the owner was very nice. Quick service, like we received text messages that your order has been placed and it was brought to our table within minutes. Incredible and he was very cheerful. While conversations were happening I noticed a cool shelf and on the shelf were games! Fun board and card games that continued the our mini party! This place was open until 11pm so it cool to have a coffee shop that stays open late. I took public transportation but there is underground parking at the venue, there are tons of parking meters and parking in the residential area. This place is YUMMY!
