I understand the claws are rigged to win whenever they feel like winning but rigging the charging system by charging 7.8 per game so that the total amount we pay out of pocket for gaming points ends up with a balance of 7.6 in my case so that I am either forced to buy more or lose about a dollar every time? That is unfair and unethical. They need to make it fair! They're already making money off the games, there is no need to steal from visitors.

first time here! They have so many claw machines, like a lot!! With different toys u may be interested. It seems like not too hard to get one, as everyone is taking a few toys home. For the price, it's a dollar a token, per claw, which is reasonable. They also have some deals such as $20 for 22 tokens. Credit card is accepted with $5 minimum.

This place is located in the expanded part of the New Haven Market and I am here for it! It was such a fun family experience. I checked in on Yelp to get 2 free tokens. We played both and got the small Doraemon plush and of course we had to get more to get another plushy. The second plush we got was Lotso Bear with bat wings. Both plushies were mini and so cute! Both our kids had so much fun and loves their plushies! Both plushies also came with the little cup suction so you can hang them on glass surfaces. I took some pictures of the other cute plushies that are available to win! I also love the Kawaii wall with all the plushies there. Such cute photo ops for the kids!

This claw machine is located in the haven city market in some corner. I'm a claw machine addict and can say that the claw strengths on this one is far weaker than many of the other claw machine spots. You can easily grab the toys but they will decide to drop itself inches before the drop off. It seems more like the traditional claw machines where they have a payout over a certain amount of tries. It's definitely not impossible but chances of winning here are harder IMO. When I looked around no one had any toys which was a bummer. Probably my last time at least at this location, the West Covina Location was a bit better. They do give 2 coins for yelp checkin and also for yelp reviews which is cool since you don't have to spend anything to receive two free tries.

After having a nice Friday dinner at Haven City Market (HCM) last Friday, my eldest daughter and I strolled on over to Kawaii Klaws to see what all the neon lights were all about. WOW... what a fun place to be after a tasty meal! They have a whole slew of machines with cute and adorable stuffy and plushy toys. They have a huge wall full of more stuffy and plushy toys, but these are not for grabs... they are for decorations only... so please don't touch LOL. It takes patience and precision to be an expert at klawing. Please don't get discouraged if you don't get them in the first few tries. It will be easier as you get more practice. You'll be good at it in no time. You may buy a certain number of tokens for a specific price. The more you buy, the more you save. At the end of the day, you either get really good or lucky and klaw lots of toys up and over or not so lucky and bust with no toys. Most importantly, just have fun responsibly. It can get really addicting. Btw, two free tokens with Yelp check-in. Thank you for playing!

This place is a money trap especially if you have an obsession with claw machines! My friends and I spent over $200 between the 3 of us because it was so addicting. This is in the back side of Haven City Market. Each try is $1, but the more you buy the more you save. The machine like any other Asian claw machine, the claw is loose and it opens and it swings and drops the toy. The staff was somewhat friendly, you are able to collect X amount of toys and trade them in or something over the counter. Unlike round one, this place doesn't adjust the toys for you after a certain amount of tries.

So bright and so many options!!! It's great for families who are visiting Haven Food Market and there is a giant screen TV across from the machines. Love the selection of toys!!

Located at the left side of haven city, my boyfriend and i spent $20 for 22 tokens and won 5 prizes. Such a great addition to the market, being able to play claw machines after a delicious meal. Some claw machines are hit or miss but it just takes skill

Emilia is freaking amazing!!! She helped my boys win big time. With her advice and pointing out the correct machines. I've always thought these things were rigged. This place actually hits. Tons of fun watching your kids win

We went bowling, bought snacks, shoe rental and spent an additional $132 on 4 game cards with convenience fee. Bowling was fun although we had to ask an attendant to remove the bumpers. They appeared to be on all lanes and was a very intense process to get them off. Also we had a wonderful snack attendant who served us initially when we got there. I did not catch her name but she had long braids and suggested a pitcher of soda for our family as a better value than 4 standard drinks. I do want to stress that this is a cashless business and I do not support digital only businesses. I purchased summer bowling passes for my teenagers for a killer deal but am concerned on how they will be able to purchase snacks if I'm not there with my credit card but I believe there's a machine that converts cash into card. I'm not certain if that's what I heard. They had a lot of fun games for all ages to play. Beware as per usual to most Arcades with the exception of D&B's in my opinion it's going to take several $100's if not $1000's of dollars to obtain a decent prize. Unless you win jackpots. My boy's plan to save their tickets until they can get Something they want. There were a-lot Of teenage congregant's as usual to any arcade. One group threw an empty game card at my shoulder and were laughing when I looked up. Nevertheless it was a fun time.

I've now been here twice to bowl, and unfortunately both experiences were frustrating enough that I…read morewon't be bowling here again. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight.

The place was absolutely packed by game time. When we arrived, our reserved table was ready and located right in front of one of the large screens, which made for a great viewing experience. Walk-ins were still welcomed, but they were seated in other areas. I also noticed that some people who had reservations but arrived late ended up standing by the bar to watch the game. If you're planning to watch a major sporting event here, definitely show up early even if you have a reservation. Food was decent. Drinks were decent. Nothing really stood out, but everything was solid enough for game day. The atmosphere was great and it was a fun place to watch the match with friends. My biggest issue was the automatic 20% gratuity. Yes, they were able to split our party of 14+ into five separate checks, which was appreciated. But automatically charging 20% on every bill felt ridiculous considering how packed the place was and how mediocre the service was throughout the night. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, service was slow, and getting attention from a server wasn't always easy. It felt like they were operating beyond a comfortable capacity (well over maximum capacity). I don't mind tipping well for great service. In fact, I usually do. But an automatic 20% gratuity for average-at-best service felt excessive and took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, we had a great time. The game-day atmosphere, large screens, and reserved seating made for a memorable experience. I'd definitely come back to watch another big match.

I planned on staying there with my daughter for at least 2 hours, but that was cut short because all we got was a $10 credit which was done in less than 10 min. However, Adam, was able to make things right and even though my unlimited card expired today, he was able to get me an all day card to use. Excellent customer service!! Give that man a raise and because of him, we will continue to spend money here at Dnb!
