Came here with a group of friends to watch the Mexico vs. South Korea World Cup match, and we had a great time. The best decision we made was reserving a table ahead of time. The place was absolutely packed by game time. When we arrived, our reserved table was ready and located right in front of one of the large screens, which made for a great viewing experience. Walk-ins were still welcomed, but they were seated in other areas. I also noticed that some people who had reservations but arrived late ended up standing by the bar to watch the game. If you're planning to watch a major sporting event here, definitely show up early even if you have a reservation. Food was decent. Drinks were decent. Nothing really stood out, but everything was solid enough for game day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was great and it was a fun place to watch the match with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My biggest issue was the automatic 20% gratuity. Yes, they were able to split our party of 14+ into five separate checks, which was appreciated. But automatically charging 20% on every bill felt ridiculous considering how packed the place was and how mediocre the service was throughout the night. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, service was slow, and getting attention from a server wasn't always easy. It felt like they were operating beyond a comfortable capacity (well over maximum capacity). I don't mind tipping well for great service. In fact, I usually do. But an automatic 20% gratuity for average-at-best service felt excessive and took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, we had a great time. The game-day atmosphere, large screens, and reserved seating made for a memorable experience. I'd definitely come back to watch another big match. read more

The manager, Adam, was amazing. After having a bad experience in getting some type of customer service at the Irvine Location, Adam heard the issue we had and resolved it by getting us an unlimited card for the day. Long story short, there was a network issue nationwide at DnB yesterday, and the best the manager did was give us a $10 credit. Keep in mind, I had an unlimited card that I paid for and yesterday was the last day to use it. I planned on staying there with my daughter for at least 2 hours, but that was cut short because all we got was a $10 credit which was done in less than 10 min. However, Adam, was able to make things right and even though my unlimited card expired today, he was able to get me an all day card to use. Excellent customer service!! Give that man a raise and because of him, we will continue to spend money here at Dnb! read more

This review is purely to highlight the exceptional customer service my husband and I record from Devin at the bar. The two of us walked in, with no reservation, and were able to grab two high chairs at Devin's bar. And yes, IT IS HIS BAR!! We got there about 45 mins before the game started and from then to about 1/4 through the game, Devin was by himself, making sure everyone at the bar top was taken care of, completing the servers tickets faster than the servers could put them in, and with a damn smile on his face. Why management would have him by himself during the World Cup final is beyond me but Devin handled it with grace. My husband and I are legend status at a different location and were very impressed with how Devin handled everything. Way better than our recent services we've received in Torrance (although, Luis was the bombbb, we just haven't seen him in a min). Devin, kudos to you my friend!!! read more

May be my mistake for ordering a turnt up Caesar here, but I thought the Cali Caesar Salad Bowl was just okay. It had way more croutons than I thought it would, and asking for the dressing on the side was a mistake as I barely got any dressing. The guacamole and bacon was a nice addition to the traditional Caesar salad, though. We came during happy hour and of course took advantage of their 50% cocktail deal. Games were pretty standard, but I like how the size of this D&B is large enough that the games aren't too close together and you don't feel cramped when it's busy. We had an extremely disappointing experience at Dave & Buster's last night (Feb. 28- 630pm) My 4 year old daughter has been sick for a while, and this was our first little family outing in some time. We arrived around 6pm and were told the wait for a table would be 45 minutes, which was completely fine. We got a text 15 minutes later saying our table was ready. Now I understand why. We were seated in the middle section next to a large party and were completely ignored. No utensils. No drinks. No server. Two other families seated near us also waited and eventually left without ever being acknowledged. After about 25 minutes, I noticed a family seated in a nearby booth get greeted and served within 5 minutes. I had to go up to the hostess to ask what was going on. It was clear the staff was confused about who was assigned to our table. When we finally ordered, drinks came out slowly and one didn't arrive until almost when the food did. The food itself was cold and missing a side. We still didn't have utensils at that point. We had to flag someone down again about the missing item, and by then we just wanted to leave. We were told the fries couldn't be removed from the bill even though we never received them. The most frustrating part was seeing multiple servers standing around because it "wasn't their section," while three tables were neglected. This was supposed to be a special night out for our daughter after being sick, and it turned into the worst dining experience we've had in a long time. Sadly, we won't be returning. read more
