Went for a Sip n Sing (karaoke) night. It was ok, they started late, and people should have been told a later time, if that were the case. Once getting started the hosts started working the crowd and walking around bothering people. I was touching up my lip gloss and he gets to me, and says "What's up lipgloss!?!? She over getting ready y'all!" Little did he know, I was NOT going up there.....I just wanted to see how it was. My Spinach and Artichoke dip was really good and the chips were good as well. After I left the karaoke event, I went onto the gameroom floor and so much had changed. Not as many games as back in the day, and practically ALL my favorite games were gone! What a Complete Sh*t Show. I will never ever eat here again. Last night, 9/5/2026 I came to eat for a friend's party. He had reservations. We ordered our first round of drinks and our food witch took super long to get, and we when had to remind the secret of our drinks. This was when our group was only about 5 people. The party grew bigger,and the service got even slower and worse. My wife and I went to go play games. We came back and ordered another beer and water. Some of the group had paid and left. We still had about 20 people. Some other friends asked to pay their bill. They received the paid bill returned with another persons credit card. It was not anyone in the groups card, so she used a strangers card. We had still not obtained our water or beer. When the waitress came back she was all discombobulated. No one could get their bills. We were basically held hostage for over an hour while they tried to figure it out. We never got our water or our beer. Finally they were able to pull up one bill for everyone. But they had added the "mandatory" tip to it. They had to go back and take it off. Then we had to have one person pay and we had to Zelle or Venmo them. We were being very respectful through the whole ordeal, but yet they had 3 of their "Top Flight Security" team stand near us and be on their phones. This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a dining establishment, besides a few in the south in the 80's. I can't believe we were held hostage for over an hour, with no beverages that we ordered, or any compensation at all. I do not know how they are allowed to run a business like this. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY DAVE & BUSTER'S again. NO MAMES. Do yourself a favor, and save yourself a headache, frustration and more. I guess asking with a ruined party, and a ruined date Night, they did give is something for free. A BIG FU**ING HEADACHE! I guess thanks for the free gift...... I guess... Came here with a group of friends to watch the Mexico vs. South Korea World Cup match, and we had a great time. The best decision we made was reserving a table ahead of time. The place was absolutely packed by game time. When we arrived, our reserved table was ready and located right in front of one of the large screens, which made for a great viewing experience. Walk-ins were still welcomed, but they were seated in other areas. I also noticed that some people who had reservations but arrived late ended up standing by the bar to watch the game. If you're planning to watch a major sporting event here, definitely show up early even if you have a reservation. Food was decent. Drinks were decent. Nothing really stood out, but everything was solid enough for game day. The atmosphere was great and it was a fun place to watch the match with friends. My biggest issue was the automatic 20% gratuity. Yes, they were able to split our party of 14+ into five separate checks, which was appreciated. But automatically charging 20% on every bill felt ridiculous considering how packed the place was and how mediocre the service was throughout the night. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, service was slow, and getting attention from a server wasn't always easy. It felt like they were operating beyond a comfortable capacity (well over maximum capacity). I don't mind tipping well for great service. In fact, I usually do. But an automatic 20% gratuity for average-at-best service felt excessive and took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, we had a great time. The service here was great. The host sat us right away on a busy Saturday afternoon around 1pm. Our server was great. He told us food would take a while but we just wanted some appetizers and he said those would be out quicker and our appetizers did arrive quicker. We got pretzel dogs and the cheese stick stack. The service was very poorly. I had to ask a security guard where the hostess was to be able to check in. They charged me for ranch when it was suppose to come with the wings for free and even after getting charged for 4 we only received 3. They did not give me part of my order which was the bread for my pasta and still charged me for it. We did not get refills let alone offered any and the only time the waitress came to check in was when we got seated and when handing me the check because even when we got our food it was the bus boys bringing it out for us. When asking the waitress for 2 to go boxes she just handed us 1 box, no bag and never saw her again. The table also had a residue on top of it. We love Dave and Busters and have a great time. This Dave and Busters was not super busy when we went so we loved that. The first 2 games we try to play malfunction and take our money but dont play. It took a few minutes to flag someone down to help us. The tech was nice and helped us. He seemed knowledgeable about which games didn't work the best. Quite a few of the games we played didnt function correctly, but we had fun anyways and ended up winning over 10000 tickets that day. We got alot of trinkets and toys at the ticket shop. This was honestly the worst experience we've ever had at Dave & Buster's. Our server was rude and extremely slow throughout the entire meal. We finished our entire meal before we even received basic things like water and sauces. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the sauce even though it didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating. The billing situation was even worse. Every single person in our party had issues with their bill. What should have been a quick process turned into nearly 1.5 hours of trying to get everyone's tabs corrected so we could finally go enjoy the games. We had clearly written out who was paying for what on each receipt, yet it still took approximately 8-10 attempts to get the bills corrected. By the time everything was finally sorted out, our entire party was frustrated and annoyed, and we honestly just wanted to leave rather than play the games we had come there for. Jeremy was the manager dealing with the receipt issues, and he was fully aware of how disappointed and frustrated we were. As someone who has worked in management myself, I would never allow a guest to leave that upset without at least trying to make the situation right. Unfortunately, not a single thing was done to acknowledge the experience or make it right. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was the biggest disappointment. We came to have a fun night with our party and instead spent a huge portion of it standing around trying to fix bills. The manager, Adam, was amazing. After having a bad experience in getting some type of customer service at the Irvine Location, Adam heard the issue we had and resolved it by getting us an unlimited card for the day. Long story short, there was a network issue nationwide at DnB yesterday, and the best the manager did was give us a $10 credit. Keep in mind, I had an unlimited card that I paid for and yesterday was the last day to use it. I planned on staying there with my daughter for at least 2 hours, but that was cut short because all we got was a $10 credit which was done in less than 10 min. However, Adam, was able to make things right and even though my unlimited card expired today, he was able to get me an all day card to use. Excellent customer service!! May be my mistake for ordering a turnt up Caesar here, but I thought the Cali Caesar Salad Bowl was just okay. It had way more croutons than I thought it would, and asking for the dressing on the side was a mistake as I barely got any dressing. The guacamole and bacon was a nice addition to the traditional Caesar salad, though. We came during happy hour and of course took advantage of their 50% cocktail deal. Games were pretty standard, but I like how the size of this D&B is large enough that the games aren't too close together and you don't feel cramped when it's busy. This review is purely to highlight the exceptional customer service my husband and I record from Devin at the bar. The two of us walked in, with no reservation, and were able to grab two high chairs at Devin's bar. And yes, IT IS HIS BAR!! We got there about 45 mins before the game started and from then to about 1/4 through the game, Devin was by himself, making sure everyone at the bar top was taken care of, completing the servers tickets faster than the servers could put them in, and with a damn smile on his face. Why management would have him by himself during the World Cup final is beyond me but Devin handled it with grace. My husband and I are legend status at a different location and were very impressed with how Devin handled everything. At this point, still no beers or milkshake. We ended up canceling the funnel fries because by the time she brought the beers it was about 45 minutes deep of a wait. Still no milkshake. The cup she brought my fiancé for his beer was absolutely disgusting. Like does not look like it had been washed at all. Then finally about 50ish minutes later my milkshake came. Obviously as far as games go etc it was fine but the service was just terrible. I get if they're busy but almost an hour for beer with a dirty cup is insane.
