I'd give this place 0 stars if I'm being completely honest, I had my ring sized over here at this location. It was only supposed to take 2 weeks it took nearly 3 months. On top of that my ring "was" 14k gold. Which is now 7k of gold and added in other metals that weren't gold when I was ASSURED it would be filled in with GOLD. This place is a mess! They half a$$ everything, and aren't transparent with financing fees, so watch out!!! I dropped off my ring a month ago to get sized. Was told it would be ready on the 16th, (today is the 23rd) when I called today to check on the pick up time they told me it hasn't even been touched yet by " the jeweler", but keep giving new pick up dates even though they clearly have no clue where or what is going on with my ring. Zero stars should be an option on Yelp, because this joke of a business clearly isn't even worth 1 star. Let's normalize supporting a business that cares about their customers. I went over to this location to help me with a broken chain. They showed me the selection of chains and their value. Once I picked a chain I handed them my peridot pendant and expressed the importance of it. Today I was supposed to get a call saying my repair was ready. Instead I got a call saying they lost my repair order. Pendant is missing and chain. My priceless pendant is gone due to their ignorance and lack of awareness. read more

Thank you for making our experience great! It was time for me to get a new wedding ring, so we decided to stop at this location since this is where we bought my last one. The employees were all very friendly, and the the lady helping me pick the one was very attentive and showed me all the options I had based on what I told her liked and wanted. I found the "one" after trying on a few and so we proceeded with checking out. My husband ended up buying a watch as well as we were checking out.. We paid and were told it would take two weeks for the ring to arrive since I had to get it resized. I patiently waited and they called me a day before the actual arrival date saying my ring was in store, yay! Robin at the AZ Mills location was absolutely incredible!! She went above and beyond anything that I could have imagined. My wife lost her favorite necklace about a year ago and I could not find it on the website at all, and every other location I went to just really wasn't that helpful. All the stores had stopped selling it and it was no longer being made. I explained the importance of the necklace to Robin and she looked up the necklace on my account and began to call other stores to see if they had it. I had really given up hope and this was a last ditch effort because I had been searching for months, however she found the last one! It was shipped from Georgia to Arizona and I was able to surprise my wife. Her reaction was priceless and I am incredibly thankful for Robin as the experience will last a lifetime!! Horrible experience from the start - My fiancé and I get jewelry from Kay's for all special occasions before we moved to Arizona. I came in to this store to get my engagement ring resized which he got from somewhere else. The lady seemed reluctant to help me, and after taking my ring told me I can pay at pick up. After I had left, they chased me down to pay which ticked me off, but whatever, I just need it resized. So, I paid. At pick up, there were a few couples there and they refused to speak to me until everyone before me was helped. I waited an hour to pick up something I had already paid for. My boyfriend and I have been looking at engagement rings together for about 2 months. We've made different trips to different jewelers for me to show him what designs and styles I would like. At many places we went to he had associates pressuring him to make an appointment with them and to come back without me, or to tell them when he wanted to propose(while I'm right there, talk about wrong). And he told me he would never buy my ring from anywhere the associates pressured us. Which was worrisome because that narrowed my options quite a bit. Then one month ago we went to Kay Jewelers, we were so incredibly lucky to come and find Andrea. She was incredibly helpful about listening to what I would love for my engagement ring to be, she looked at pictures on my phone I had saved, and was very conscious of my boyfriends budget. She never pressured him to put money down on a ring or pressured him to come in by himself. She was also very patient and let me look at rings with never suggesting she was getting bored or was in a hurry to close a deal. Andrea was so sweet and I'm so lucky she was working when we decided to walk into Kay Jewelers. I ended up falling in love with a two tone ring and just didn't want to take it off. It is the most beautiful ring I had seen. My boyfriend and Andrea noticed how much I loved it. My boyfriend didn't want to buy it right then because he wanted to wait till he got the center emerald cut diamond to make sure I would like the stone with the setting. So Andrea told him about their layaway program and we put the ring on that for the time being. Then flash forward to last night. My boyfriend, his mother and I had the emerald cut diamond and went in to go see the setting. I was really nervous because I knew my boyfriend wanted me to love the ring and that he wanted to buy it that night. I really hoped Andrea would be there and would be able to help me. She's the only associate I felt I could trust to help me with something so incredibly important and not just treat me like their next commission. And I was so incredibly happy to see Andrea working last night when I walked in. And I was even more excited when she remembered who my boyfriend and I were!! I asked my boyfriend and his mom to give me 10 minutes alone to make sure I would love the two together. Andrea held the diamond over the current stone so I could get an idea of what it would look like. And I loved it! She even let me look at one of the runner up settings when I asked her if I could see that one too. And she remembered exactly which one it was! I got to look at it but it still didn't measure up to the two tone setting. My boyfriend and his mother came back in and I let them see the diamond held over the two tone setting. I was so excited for them to see it. After a few moments, my boyfriend kicked me out to finish the business. I'm just truly so grateful for Andrea's help in finding my perfect engagement ring. I wish I could give this place negative stars, absolutely horrible customer service from both associates and management! First off, they ruined the proposal (people planning on proposing: beware). I was sorting through the mail when I came across a statement from Kay's. Turns out the associate helping my fiancé pick out a ring didn't tell him that he would be receiving a statement in the mail. His proposal to me was ruined because of this. We went in to get the ring sized, and was helped by an nice associate there. She measured my finger, took my information, and gave me a receipt. Fast forward three weeks later and we still haven't gotten notice that the ring is ready for pickup. I called them and dealt with a male that was aggravated with me from the beginning. I gave him my information and he told me that there is nothing on record under my name or my fiancé's name. After a few minutes of trying to figure this out the phone is passed to the manager on site. Right off the bat he gave me an attitude on the phone. I finally gave him the number from the associate who gave me the resize receipt a few weeks back. He told us that receipt number is not under mine or my fiancés name, and under a completely different person - according to the manager there was nothing they could do because they don't have us on file for a resize. I tell him that we are on our way to the store to figure this out. Halfway there we get a call from the same manager saying "sorry the associate who took your information down didn't input you into the system right after and inputted a customer's information in that she helped after you. If I did NOT call when I did my ring could have been given to a completely different person. That conversation ended with the manager saying, "so tell your wife, girlfriend, whoever she is that the ring will be here in two days". The ring does show up two days later. I go in to try it on AND IT'S STILL TOO BIG. At this point I'm about to lose it. A lady tells me that this was the size I gave them, which I told them yes that's what I measured, but obviously it's still too big. She got the ring measured out again and I tried the size on that I originally requested - it fits perfectly. She then proceeds to tell us that because my band is skinnier than what the measure is it's going to be bigger. Can someone explain why this was not originally bought to my attention three weeks ago?! She then begin spewing nonsense about the weather and how it will effect the size of my finger. After her weather segment she then asks me, "so what do you want to do? Do you want to keep it and try it out for while or do you want us to send it back?". We decided to keep the ring as is and pay another major ring company to fix this instead of going through the warranty at Kay's . This was an expensive investment and the whole experience was nothing but a nightmare. No one at the company cared about us, or the money my fiancé gave. I love my ring it's beautiful, but that's about the only positive thing I have to say about this joke of a business. Men and women reading this review and planning on proposing, GO ELSEWHERE. My husband and I are on vacation in AZ all the way from Maine. During our trip my diamond fell off my wedding ring into my hand. Since it was purchased at Kay Jewelers in Maine we took it to the Arizona Mills location to see what we could do. Carmen was excellent! She was so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed chatting with her while we were there. Although there isn't time to get my ring repaired here, she wrapped my ring up so it will stay safe until we return home and even took the time to look up our information in the computer and print out our warranty info so that we will be prepared when we go into our home store! I have had the worst experience here!!! It took 18 days for my engagement ring to be sized only to get it back and it be WAY TOO BIG. When I came in to get it sized they didn't correctly size me or even give me the time of day to talk to me on the process and exactly when I would get it back they just said "it will be ready in two weeks. I called a couple times to check on the ring and was hung up on and always treated poorly. They are not helpful here, rude, and inconsiderate. I will NEVER go here again and will warn friends and family about our terrible experience. read more

When I bought my wife's engagement ring (and the wedding band) the rep was very helpful in explaining to me all the aspects of cut, clarity, color, etc. I found the perfect ring and it was fit it a great band for not too much more. I bought the warranty on both and go in every so often to clean it and I've never had a customer service problem. I've also bought earrings and a necklace there as well and received the same great service! (Side note: They do try to sell you on different things but what jewelry place doesn't? Service is good but you cant count on quality. I come to get my ring cleaned and i always leave unsatisfied whether they soak it for 30 mins or 5 mins. Everyone has their own "technique" and my ring is never sparkly when done. I even said that it wasnt clean and the woman helping us just shrugged. Im not sure how else to go about this. But someone needs to understand that obviously their cleaning supplies dont work or need updating. One of the associates told me that a cleaner from the grocery store probably works better. Called to see if they could clean some silver rings that I wear that had tarnished a bit for a decent price. Nora was very professional and even straightened them out for free for me since they didn't require an intense cleaning which would have been around 30-$40. Ended up buying some of their jewelry wipes for $8 after she had cleaned my rings so I can do it at home as well! They are good for both gold and silver. read more

Until i look at my beautiful engagement ring...please keep in mind that we leave in 4 days for our wedding in california and getting married in 6days. My main stone was missing. So of course im freaking out and crying. We go to the kays jewelers in tempe and Sue the manager was able to make my day. She called all of the stores in AZ and was able to find me a replacement ring. But its out of town. ROAD TRIP for me and my hunny! If it wasnt for her and knowing how imporant this was to us. They swapped my Diamond with cloudy Diamond after repair with no inclusions! I had bought a beautiful Neil Lane engagement ring from one of your Kay Jeweler in the Fiesta Mall Mesa Az store. My fiance is a size 4 and the only size they had was a 5. They told me to purchase the warranty and they would re size it and put a temporary sizer on the ring. I left with the ring and warranty. I purposed a beautiful ring to my fiance and she wore it for about 10 days. Around that time we noticed one of the prongs was missing. We took the ring into the same Kay Jewelers store in Mesa Az, (Fiesta Mall). We gave them the ring to re-size and fix the prong holding up the diamond. They never offered to map out our diamond. I had to request the associates to do so. Once the diamond was mapped out, I looked at the diamond for about 8 minutes examining every inclusion which there were 8. I asked the associates about these black marks on the stone. I was told they are birthmarks in the diamond and are completely normal. Also told they never go away. On the Diamond, there were 4 on top going across the whole diamond and 5 on the bottom one looking like a wide scrape. I was called yesterday by one the associate letting me to know come in and pick up the ring it was ready. My Fiance and I were very excited and left in the evening to pick it up. When we got there 2 associates, were working 1 female and the other the manager. Immediately they handed the ring back to my Fiance never offered to re map the Diamond. So again I had to request the diamond to be remapped. The first associate mapped the diamond and she said here ya go! She didn't even confirm it was the same and quickly shut the magnifying machine off. She seemed very irritated with my fiance and I. I told her I wanted to look at the diamond. I have a vivid memory of the inclusions on the last diamond. When I looked up the magnifying machine, I noticed the New Diamond had only one inclusion all of the other inclusions were somehow missing. My first question to the female associate was that why were inclusions mapped on the paper not showing up on the ring? She said the diamond was steam cleaned and that is why they are missing. My 2nd question to her was what is the black mark on this diamond? She said is a carbon mark which is an inclusion part of the diamond's birth. I asked will it ever go away by cleaning? She said no it will be there forever. Then my 3rd question, "Where are all the other inclusions that were on the last diamond how come they went away? She had no answer for me. Saying uhmm i'm not sure. The whole time this conversation was going on the manager stood silent examining the new diamond with nothing at all to say. I told the female associate and the manager that this is clearly not the same diamond as the one I purchased! They stood there silent not saying a word and just looking down. The new diamond looks slightly smaller than the original. It doesn't sparkle in the sun or in the light and has a very cloudy look to it. Everyone beware of Kay Jewelers! They run a scam operation. I saw all the reviews online but never thought it was really going to happen to me. Yet it did. Kay Jewelers since you were too greedy and couldn't wait til after 60 days to scam me, i will be taking this ring back and letting the world know just how you treat your customers and how dishonest your business is ran. I was told this was a Kay outlet store and that they can discount their jewelry that is just discontinued through the store. I usually go to Jared's but decided to take a look at this place. We were looking for a engagement ring. They were about ready to close but the ladies that were there that evening decided to work with us without complaint that they had to close down. We are looking at The Leo diamonds and one of the girls decided to grab a item that was not displayed in The Leo area. The ring was perfect and we bought it. I thought the experience was very quick but the prompt service was exceptional. I had to get the men's ring sized and it only took less than a week for it to come back. As for any of the other services they offer I will have to continue going back in order to find this out and possibly write another review. read more

The absolute worse service I've ever had! First off Brenda was the rudest person to be working in customer service. Had such a bad attitude when I was returning 3 rings I purchased with her previously. The manager there is even worse not only did it take me 25 times to get the through to someone on the phone. They didn't know where my order was they didn't know why it was taking so long after I was told it would take 3 weeks to come back now all of a sudden it's 6 weeks and their other office is "closed" how convenient right? I'm livid right now the manager is so rude to people and so sassy that I don't know how he's in the position that he's even in with that business. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!
